As much as it cost to get a pedi for $53 and $20 for gel polish that doesn't last!! I went to Sunny's 3 wks ago to get service. I had an appointment still had to wait 45 minutes b4 I could be seen. It's always packed nothing against that because it makes you assume that you will get really good services. Pahahah!!!! $75 for nothing of what i excepted. I've had plenty of pedicures and never within 3 wks has my gel polish come completely off my nails. And when asked it if could be fixed they still want to charge $20 for new polish. The place has talented nail techs... And Mary does a great pedicure and can slay your brows.....BUT.... This has got to be the most unorganized salon around. Don't bother scheduling a appointment because you will not be seated in time. They consistently double book, which is a slap in the face for any customer on a schedule. I had a 2pm appointment booked on a Saturday....after walking in to a crowded shop, I was relieved I had made an appointment.....45 minutes later, I was still waiting. Dany was perfect! I told her exactly how I like my nails and she made it happen! She was able to make my nails not be as thick with acrylic and appear almost natural and that is exactly what this girl wanted! All of the ladies there had a very friendly and fun personality. While I was there, 2 young children came in with their grandmother to get their finger and toe nails painted. It was so nice to see them go out of their way to see that these 2 girls were comfortable and had a fun time with grandma! If you want a good environment with quality work, definitely come here! I walked in at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021. At 3:15 pm, I was still waiting. A technician from the rear of the building came out and said he will be done in 10 more minutes. He started on my nails at 3:30 p.m. It has been a few years since I had been here, but the service was very poor. The English spoken is not clear. One customer chose to get up and leave because the wait was so long. I am very disappointed. I don't think will be back. On a positive note, the technician I received did a very good job on my dip manicure. I was pleased with his work. He got me done in about 45 minutes. I left at 4:18 pm. read more

The reviews don't lie. I should have read them before I decide to make my way there. I needed a soak off before my nail apportionment tomorrow and decided they were in the area so why not? I should have left as soon as I saw that all nail techs were already handling other clients. The nail techs were friendly after a 10 minute wait I was finally in a chair another 10 minutes went by before I was set up for my soak off. The process was going well until the tech got up and left towards the end of soak off process. I was about 80% of the way finished. If the tech would of came and went over my nails once more I would of been finished, paid and left satisfied. However the nail tech decided to walk off and decided to start on a pedicure instead of finishing a simple 15-20 minute service. I walked to the front to pay and was told by the original nail tech who greeted me that "it's okay, we have someone take care of you." I told her I had somewhere to be and then she said "oh okay honey, you can go" so I left and decided that I would never come back again. It's extremely unprofessional to overbook yourself if you don't have enough staff to manage the services you started. Then the hygiene the fact that she went from my hands to another client without washing her hands let me know how unsanitary this place truly is. I could not entertain this place again with my time. The one thing that I can say is that I'm happy I was able to get at least 80% off and managed to finally finished removing the rest my self at home. read more

DO NOT GO! The Absolute WORST customer service I have ever had in my life! Just moved to the area and was trying to find a nail tech, Due to the convenient location I chose this nail salon. My first time and Every time I went I waited over an hour to get in the chair even though I had an appointment. Still I was patient because of the convenience of the location And me not knowing where else to go. Not even a week has gone by & I've had two lifts which resulted in breaks and my gel polish was full of what looks like debris. They did fix them both for free BUT refused to fix my polish! The first time I went for a repair the lady offered to just "glue my nail back down"! I was in such disbelief that I didn't even know what to say so I just asked her to fix it the right way. On my way out I'll let the manager know what she said and what she tried to do. 24 hours later I was right back with another lift that resulted in a break so I go back to get it fixed at my appointment time, after my hour wait, I get in a chair only to get treated like trash! Not only did he yell at me and embarrass me, he told me that he didn't need me as a customer and that I should go somewhere else as if i was nothing. I didn't even complain! I only asked him to fix what was wrong! Also refused to fix my polish. I don't feel like getting into the details, so this is a quick brief summary, but just know I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS OR BEEN TREATED THAT WAY IN MY LIFE! Not only were my feelings hurt i was FURIOUS. I still cant believe this happened. Im disgusted. This place is by far the best from Atlanta to Chicago no one does it better. I have had the same set of no chip (gel nails) for 19 days and they haven't chipped yet. I get my nails done in three cities throughout the country and the others chip after 10 days are so. But these have held up like always. I used to come when I worked in Columbus. Let me start by saying everyone at this salon is very pleasant. You are greeted most times by the owner as soon as you walk in the door. The techs engage you in conversation (those who are comfortable in english).Very good pedi's. This is not my problem. I started back going here this pass summer, you have to give your name a break from the chemicals. My issue is how they handle an issue. I got my nails done on a Saturday; I had to come back twice because they started breaking, chipping and cracking. The first time I was not charged because she said I waited a long time, not because there was an issue with the Tech's application. That was Sunday. I was back again, on Wednesday, loss three more nails. When I showed them and explained the "issue" everyone started speaking non-english. I asked for a specific Tech and had a seat. They sent who I will call 'the fixer' over to tell me the tech I requested was busy (really waiting for an appointment). She looked at my nails and asked if I wanted the same powder dip or something called an overlay? At this point I was not doing it. Because I had an event I went ahead and got my nails done on my dime. On Saturday, I had a 6 o'clock hair appointment, followed by breakfast, had my nails done and went back to bed all before noon. Didn't have many chances to encounter breakage other than picking up my fork and starting the car. To be fair, I have not found a salon that will take on this type of problem head on and in a responsible manner. Sometimes things just don't work out. But I don't want to feel like I did something wrong and I don't want you to talk to me like I didn't say I had an problem. It is not always the customer. I have seen this happen too many times. This was by far the worst experience that I have ever had at a nail salon. My normal nail tech was booked and I had and event the following day so I stopped into to Sunny thinking that they would be an okay substitute, but boy was I wrong. Not only did the tech hurt me with the drill, file, and cuticle nippers, but my nails look absolutely horrible. The acrylic application is messy and over my cuticles and outside of my nail beds. I tried to communicate her with and explain that the nails were misshapen and that the acrylic was on my actual skin, but she didn't understand what I was saying or didn't care. I got gel polish on top of my acrylic nails which is also applied very messy. There are bubbles and lumps throughout. For my nails and toes I paid $85 and I am SO disappointed. 1st time was really good experience. I got a manicure and pedicure with gel nails. I loved it I was very pleased and wanted to return. The 2nd time was not so good. The wait was long but to be expected but the service SUCKED!! The gel nails were worthless and sloppy I don't know the girls name who did then but she was worthless too. I made it to my car and turned around to go back and let them know I wasn't happy. That was a waste of time too. Like talking to a brick wall, they said that's how they are suppose to be. I was fine with waiting for a while which turned into 45 minutes since I was the only person waiting; which meant I would be next I thought. As the waiting room filled the owner systematically placed them with a technician ahead of me. I was finally assigned a chair, yet the technician was still working on someone in the back. She came scraped one of nails and went back to working in the back. After waiting for her to come back, which she never did, I spoke to the owner. I advised her of the poor customer service. However, she obviously believed I didn't hear her tell the lady who came in after me that she'd do her nails. So she sat me in a chair that she KNEW wasn't ready so she guarantee her opening for the woman behind me. Although this is only the 4th time I've utilized this shop with the same exact service, EACH time my price was different. SWINDLERS, NOT HONEST, and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Horrible ! Went in for a pedicure. Picked my color and started reading my book. When i looked down at my foot i noticed that the polish was all clumpy. I said something nicely and then the whole staff started talking! Typical. She goes and puts thinner in the bottle , but not enough because when she stareted other foot it was th he was problem. I had to say something again nicely and now everyone i. He place is looking at me like i was a biotch. I picked out another color, I swear the polish is on my cuticles! I would not recommend getting the single lashes costing $100.00. After the girl did my first eye, she said my lashes were too curly & grow in too many directions; therefore she could not make them full. If this was her observation she should have stated that prior to doing the work. I've had individual lashes before & they were beautiful & natural looking. No consistency, if you have a broken nail they just put glue on it then balance it over like that's going to help. I have went to Sunny's twice. The last time I went to get a gel manicure and the polish lasted a week and a half before completely chipping and looking terrible. The day after I got my nails done I went back because one of my nails chipped. After fixing that nail, the other nails began to chip too and I was so frustrated I did not go back, I went to another shop. If I could let any know please do not go there! Absolutely horrible. I waited 2 hours but was told beforehand they don't accept appointments. I was sitting in a chair with scolding hot water for an hour before even being serviced. The polish selection was minimal and sucked. The nail dryer doesn't work. They do not sanitize their instruments or clean their soaking basins. I asked the nail tech to trim my ingrown nails as salons always have before. She took that as "cut down your nail vertically, and rip it out." Everyone was glaring at me in agony as I gripped the chair and sweated. I've been in pain for the past 2 days since. Keep disinfecting to try to keep infection at bay. Ibuprofen is the only thing that helps me sleep. I have now experienced medieval torture. And it was only $28. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!! I went to get a pedicure, recently and it took over 2 hours. Instead of telling me they were behind and that there would be a long wait, they prepared the water and sat me in the chair. My water was cold after over an hour and no one had even started on me. Two women came in after me and also waited forever. After waiting an hour and half, a man came in to get a manicure and a pedicure. For some reason they served him before us and he was finished BEFORE anyone had even started on me. Then the woman who did my pedicure did not even know enough English to understand basic instructions. I also think the place is unsanitary.
