Cute. Tasty donut at 5 pm. I want to come back and try the Chinese food it looked good.

Combo A ( no noodles so had to choose second entree) I had the chicken curry and Mongolian Beef
    Taitusi M.

Went in to get donuts and coffee and had it in my car. After 20 minutes I Saw the long line forming. One of the tasty Chinese food I come across. Try their combos. Great price and awesome atmosphere. Definitely a place to try if you in San Rafael. Nothing fancy just great food

$21 / dozen doughnuts. That's more than the bougie doughnut shops. No complaints from the team!

I came here because my favorite donut shops were closed. I saw three small flies flying around on donuts and decided to leave.

San Rafael 4th street has a lot to offer - and it's worth checking these spots out. The storefront is inviting and the inside of the restaurant is clean and well organized and appointed. The wine and beer list has few choices - and I would encourage a little more local variety to make it inviting to a wine lover like myself. I was efficiently approached by wait staff and felt welcomed I ordered Pad Woon Sen, which I've never before tried. The food came quickly - a beautiful dish of thin noodles and mushrooms with onions and celery adorned with steak. I finished my plate. Perfect lunch portion. Attentive service. The taste of quality ingredients and pride in their efforts. I will add this to my go-to spots in San Rafael!

It included ingredients I've not had before (always a thrill!) including fresh coriander herbs and green-striped skinned Thai eggplant. Also included were delicately-flavored julienned ginger, vermicelli noodles. I also chose grilled salmon. The ambiance was lovely. There were about a half dozen 1-foot spongy squares on the ceiling that usually serve as sound dampeners. I'd recommend a few more to help with the sound level. The light fixtures are lovely--see photos. The patrons are very friendly and will make pleasant comments. Service was pleasant and attentive.

We ordered the Kung Pao Scallops (without the green bell pepper, which they were happy to accommodate). The scallops were so tender and fresh tasting, and the portion was generous for a $21 dish of scallops, onion, water chestnuts, slices of crunchy seaweed and peanuts. We also ordered the spicy garlic eggplant which was a huge portion and melted in our mouths. The sauce is the traditional sweet, tangy and spicy which they got in pretty good balance with the piping hot eggplant. It's great to know about this place. The menu is huge so much to keep coming back for. And our server (from Goa surprisingly) was super sweet and friendly. I would only recommend them changing two white lightbulbs that were out of theme with all the others of a softer warm tone. I'm sensitive to lighting so I wanted to point that out because it's much more inviting to have the warm tone, and so rare for a Chinese restaurant to care so much about lighting. I will be back!

It probably would of been better if it wasn't near 90*F outside. It didn't appear like they have AC, since all the doors were open. This restaurant looks new on the outside, but looks "old-school" on the inside. The only thing missing was.....chopsticks on the table. I ordered: -Tomato Beef Chow Mein, $15.95, serves two. Very good Tomato Beef Chow Mein. Every piece of beef was tender and easy to eat. The chunks of tomato, bell pepper and onion were in small bite sized pieces. Perfect for eating with chopsticks. The sauce was tangy and lightly sweet. What was missing was the "Wok Hei." Aka...."the breath of the Wok," it's the unique smoky aroma that adds a special flavor to stir fry food. - Salt & Pepper Fried Chicken Wings, $17.95, 9 wings. To be clear, these are "flats." Fresh, juicy, and fried crispy good. Seasoned in coarse salt, chili pepper and onion. My waiter/server gave me a small dish of chili oil to enhance the heat level. On 12/24/25, we couldn't get through their regular phone number quite a few times due to a busy signal. We then placed a Door Dash order at 4:50pm. After the app updating the delivery time several times, the order was suddenly "cancelled by the restaurant." We were really looking forward to our dinner for two hours, so you can imagine our disappointment and scrambling for alternatives on Christmas Eve. We did receive a refund for the exact amount that was charged to the credit card. We had decided to try the restaurant again on 12/31/25. Again, we couldn't get through. So I went in person to place the order to ask why the restaurant cancelled our 12/24/25 order. I've never heard of a confirmed order being cancelled before. They said they "cancel Door Dash orders at 6:30pm. A lot of people were disappointed, too." I said but we had placed our order at 4:50pm. I couldn't understand his reasoning. We decided to never use them again. Despite our terrible inconvenience and decision to never dine here again, we decided to place an order today 12/31/25 at 4:19pm for pick-up in person, so I could ask in person what happened on 12/24/25. They said today's order would take 25-30 minutes. It was ready at 4:37pm. That was redeemable, but we still don't understand what happened on 12/24:25 and don't feel confident that it will never happen again. So I imagine the lesson learned is beware of placing Door Dash orders at this restaurant! See photos for proof of our experience.
