Cute ambiance, small space in downtown Alpharetta with good music. The vibe is definitely beachy. The menu had a good variety of food from small plates, such as Wagyu sliders, calamari, egg rolls, meatballs, to entrées such as cod, ribeye, Thai glazed salmon, BLT club focaccia. If you want a salad, they have plenty to choose from, including Caesar, wedge, blueberry peach. If you're more hungry, you can always opt for one of their pastas. Basically, they have a really good variety of foods. Drinks were just okay for me but the dinner was pretty good. I opted for a tuna poke bowl and was able to get a side of a chipotle type mayo, which made all the difference. It was not the best I've ever had, but it was pretty fresh and filled me up. My boyfriend got the chicken skewers which came with some rice and there was a substantial amount of meat. We both left with full bellies. I think this is a cool place to grab a drink and a bite to eat and the food was solid. Nothing that I would rave about, but maybe it's what I ordered. I'd be willing to come back here again and try something new.

This place is new to downtown Alpharetta and they really stick to their Sunset theme! There are TVs inside featuring pretty sunsets, and the bar glows, making it look like a sunset! The drinks were great! We were there with friends and tried several of them. The mojito was my favorite. They have excellent drink ware - I loved my tiki cup! The servers were also super friendly. Rachel waited on us and was delightful. The food was good, but extremely expensive for the size of the dish. We got the tropical chicken skewers, which had nice flavor, but it was $16 for two tiny skewers. It's a small place, but very cute inside. I probably won't eat here again but I will definitely be back for drinks because they are great!

What a gem of a restaurant in downtown Alpharetta. Step inside to be transported to a tropical oasis in the heart of GA. From the bar to the patio, you'll have a great view. On to the food, simply delicious! We tried several of their starters, the bruschetta, meatballs, and coconut shrimp were tasty. It is nice to have a place for good small bites that isn't a typical Spanish tapas joint. The drinks were amazingly delicious, and came with a cute way to keep track, you'll have to go to know what I mean. Overall, just a great spot.

We had a reunion event here and couldn't have chosen a better place to get back together with old friends. Drinks were solid and we tried a ton of different items on the menu - sharing many of them. The lamb chops, sliders, firecracker shrimp, and coconut shrimp were my favorites Music was a really good vibe too. This place is a nice change from most other places out there - it has a nice casual relaxed vibe but not too casual. Great staff as well.

Ok let me first say that I haven't dined here yet!!…read more I was looking at hosting a bridal shower in the area, where I'm out of town so dont have a way to come visit/scope out the place. Shannon was so accomodating, he sent me photos of the place where the shower would be, and answered a ton of questions for me. The level of service from him was impeccable, especially when I was pretty clear from the beginning that I was looking at quite a few different places. We ultimately chose somewhere else due to budget and we wanted a more "light and airy" vibe. I just wanted to drop a line here and say that this spot is really perfect for a smaller shower and for a pretty competitive price!

I did not know what to expect because the area seemed like upscale IMO and I was a little hesitant I would be treated a certain way. I was not . The place was very clean and nice, also has a fancy feel to it. The food i had tasted amazing, but the rice was a little on the salty side for me. I am not sure if its a southern food thing ( I am from the other side of the U.S) but, seasoned rice has been salty to me all over GA. I would definitely recommend this place to someone though. They had my favorite beer on tap "left hand milk stout Nitro" good food and amazing service.

It's been a while since my husband and I have been up here, and with patio season and summer…read more(almost officially) here, we thought this would be a great time to revisit! We ordered the deviled eggs appetizer, my husband ordered the crab cakes, and I ordered the lettuce wraps app as my main. The crab cakes were really good (I had a bite or two), and the buns were unexpected but delicious! The lettuce wraps were also very good, but honestly not what I thought a lettuce wrap would be. I've seen other pictures of them that were much more traditional finger food for brunch, so not sure if they changed them entirely or if this is just dinner version. Tasty, but obviously not for picking up... it would be tricky to wrap them up in that tiny piece of lettuce and I did not want to get dripped on with the sauce. So, if knife and fork lettuce wraps were a thing - this would be it! I think the bib lettuce makes it hard as it's so frail and flimsy, so if I had any suggestions, maybe it would be to try wrapping them from a head of lettuce for a bigger, more firm piece of lettuce. Dessert was a strawberry shortcake. Nice finish to a richly flavored dinner. My husband asked for an espresso and it came in a huge mug. Not sure if this is standard, or if they ran out of demitasse cups. Service was more attentive on front end, but less as they got busy and our server got more tables. I asked another server for water refill and then a manager brought us a dessert menu since our server disappeared. He showed up with the check and we had to tell him we wanted dessert. We made reservation through open table and got seated immediately. When we left, the little lobby area was packed so we definitely went at the right time. I think the servers were getting a little overwhelmed (and I cannot blame them). Still a great view and worth the hassle of finding parking in downtown Alpharetta.

It was warm outside and warm = rooftop bar. It was the start of a great night. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located in downtown Alpharetta on South Main Street. The restaurant sits on the fifth floor of an office building. There is no parking directly by the building, however there is free street parking as well as a deck that is free and is a few minutes walk. If you can, I would recommend taking the walk so you're able to see all of the other shops and restaurants and enjoy the live music that's sure to be playing. Venue and Atmosphere When you walk in you're automatically greeted by the hostess. If you are going on a weekend I absolutely would recommend having a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside. We did not, so it was essentially every woman for themselves. In addition to the tables, there were some couches that were first come first served. We lucked up and a woman was leaving and gave us her table. Food and drinks Since this was our first stop we didn't want to fill up too much. We ordered the charcuterie board, which served as a good snack. I ordered their old fashioned made with Knob Creek, my wife had a cider, and our friend has one of their IPA's. Service Service was decent, considering there was a lot going on. With my friend's IPA they were changing the keg and it actually took a while for that to happen, but our server gave my friend another drink at no charge to make up for that fact, which was a nice touch. Verdict I'm not in Alpharetta much, but the next time I am, I'll definitely stop through for a drink and the view. If you're in the area stop on in! Until next time!

The restaurant is in a really nice area of town in Alpharetta with beautiful surroundings and really nice decor, just a really, really nice part of the city. We started off with the Louisiana spring rolls, Cajun crab dip, and a jumbo lump crab cake. The crab dip was really good, and honestly, all of the appetizers were excellent. For the main course, we had the Parmesan-crusted salmon, jumbo stuffed shrimp with crab, branzino, and blackened redfish. Everything was cooked to perfection, and everybody really enjoyed their dishes. The service started off a little slow, probably because we were waiting on one of our party members, but once things got going, we had impeccable service for the rest of the evening. Shout-out to Jason for taking great care of us! The mixed drinks were really good too. A couple had a little more ice than I would have preferred, but hey, it's summertime in Atlanta, so maybe that wasn't such a bad thing! Parking can be a little challenging. There is a garage on the side of the building, but I believe it's primarily for the apartment complex. We parked there and didn't get a ticket, but street parking was definitely a little difficult. All in all, we had a really good evening. The prices were reasonable, and they even offer a military discount, which definitely made the experience even better. If you're in Atlanta and don't mind taking a drive up to Alpharetta, I definitely recommend giving Coalition Steak & Seafood a try. Good food, good drinks, great service, and a great overall experience!

Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. We were seated near the kitchen, which wasn't a problem. The restaurant had a soccer game on the TV, but it was quiet and there was no indication anything unusual was about to happen. Without warning, a group of approximately eight staff members gathered just a few feet from our table and erupted into an extremely loud celebration, screaming at the top of their lungs as if they were in a sports bar. The outburst startled us so badly that it literally sent my husband into atrial fibrillation (AFib). He was visibly shaken and extremely upset, and we were prepared to leave immediately. Our waiter could clearly see how distressed we were. Since we had already ordered the lobster bites appetizer, he kindly offered to move us to another table. We appreciated his effort and accepted. We finished the appetizer, but by then the evening was ruined, so we left and had dinner elsewhere. What disappointed us most was the complete lack of management involvement. Our waiter knew exactly what had happened and how upset we were, yet not once did a manager come to our table to apologize, ask if my husband was okay, or acknowledge that the staff's behavior was completely inappropriate for a fine dining restaurant. This wasn't about cheering for a game--it was about professionalism. Guests who choose a steakhouse expect a calm, enjoyable atmosphere, not to be startled by employees screaming just feet away from their table. We have always enjoyed Coalition, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope management addresses this with their staff so no other guests have their evening ruined the way ours was. We will not be back. Later Added: I just found out the Manager was one of the ones screaming. Pathetic! We went to PappaDeauxs which was half the price and honestly better food & calm atmosphere! Not a sports bar!
