As I was meeting two friends to do some work, we were offered a table upstairs which gave us a bit more room and less chatter. The two upstairs areas are good for group meetings, and can be reserved. The smaller of the two has two tables, which are good for small groups. I like the decor, and it appears they are expanding their space upstairs. Those with accessibility issues have an entry ramp in the rear parking lot. (I did not take a look at the restrooms.). There is also parking on the street in front. All to say this is a gem in Waukesha. This morning many people were enjoying themselves over coffee and treats. I was one of them.

It wasn't really a latte at all, just steeped tea with lukewarm milk. There was nothing creamy about it. It may have been because there was only one person working, acting as cashier, barista, and handling takeout orders. They seemed a bit stressed. The portion sizes are very large! The staff is so friendly and accomodating. I have a special BLT sandwich I love which is technically not on the menu, but they always make it for me. The sides are great choices. Sometimes we order out for birthdays and entertaining. Few people can actually finish the meal in one sitting. Personal note-they have Dr Pepper which I like, and you can collect coupons for those amazing huge rice crispie squares. This has been our favorite restaurant to take out for a picnic or birthday party or just sit, relax, and enjoy any time of the year.

I saw a picture of their breakfast burrito on social media and made plans to stop the next day. In addition to the breakfast burrito, which came with a side of hash browns, I ordered cheddar broccoli soup and was gifted a brownie for visiting. The breakfast burrito is build your own with a bunch of different options for meats, cheese, and veggies. I went with bacon, American cheese, and spinach and wasn't disappointed. The burrito was hefty and every one of the ingredients stood out. This is something I would definitely come back for. The three hash brown patties tasted as you'd expect and I appreciate that they weren't cold in the middle or bland. You can definitely notice the freshness in the soup. It was thick and used actual florets of broccoli, not just the stalks. Given the size of the burrito I had just eaten, though, I wish there was an option for a smaller portion of soup. The bowl was large and if you just plan on having that as a meal it's fine, but I would have preferred buying a cup as compared to a large bowl. Hopefully that's something they consider as a menu tweak. I'm not a big brownie person, but I enjoyed it. Like the burrito and the soup, it was a sizable portion, so worth the price if you're buying one. I'd be interested in trying their lemon bar or coffee cake on a future visit as those are more up my alley. I enjoyed talking to the woman who was prepping the dining area while I was there. She mentioned that Senor Luna's next door is their sister location and that Miss Daisy's has such early hours (currently 5am during the week) so as to cater to the nearby business park. I appreciate the early hours because I can easily make it there and back over to where I work in plenty of time.
