Homeless people in the area, be careful, clean inside, couple seats inside to sit, some tables outside too, large menu, some salad ideas and also custom salads available all very fresh ingredients. Worst place ever! Parking sucks! It took me 20 to find parking. The food was terrible, my wrap was wet. Could have been from all the tears the workers but then I ordered a cob salad, looks nothing like the pictures. There was more lettuce than the other ingredients. Totally not what was expected. I heard from multiple people that this place was good but clearly this location is not that great. Again, parking at noon is non existent! I feel like if you're a local and can wait and order there the quality might be good. When I called to make sure that the chicken was well done, no one answered or called back. Unacceptable. I always order through DoorDash & I pay $16 for a salad with add ons I'm paying for & they always forget at least 2 add ons that I pay for. The quality of the salad looks old now, the employees are rude on the phone. It sucks because this was my favorite place to get a salad from & sadly this was the last time for me. Idk if there's change in management or staff but it's not what it use to be. Example / I paid for crispy wontons , they gave me 1 wonton. Literally a single wonton. Paid for candied walnuts & roasted peanuts, both were missing. Lettuce is soggy & I asked for 2 sides of dressing and only got 1. This is my second time having a poor experience here so I'm just going to have to stop spending my money here. I ordered a Caesar salad wrap and paid an extra $2.75 for avocado. I opened up one of the halves of the wrap and there was not a single piece of an avocado in it. The other half I ate hardly had any in there as well and I spoke to an employee over the phone about the situation - they said there's nothing they can do about it. The customer service here is very poor. I didn't even want to eat here I wanted to go to The Toss Up in Gardena a black owned salad, wrap and smoothie shop! I should have stuck with my first mind even though they're further. They would never!!! Everything is chopped up and mixed perfectly. It's definitely not just something thrown together. They really really do a good job and know what they're doing. This is the best salad place very tasty but not a bunch of goop and hidden fat. I refuse to go back. This place used to be my go-to spot. Staff were really friendly, in store music worked (good feeling pop/indie), I could count on what I ordered to be professionally and honestly made with a smile. House lemonade rocked, cookies were good, and I would sometimes get a bag of chips to snack on later as well. Fast forward to mid Feb 2023. Really sad. I don't know. I didn't stop in here for a good long time as I was not in the area or I would go elsewhere, came back after walking around Downtown and really wanting a good salad as the toppings are a great variety, and encountered the most miserable female employee you could possibly encounter who just clearly hasn't found herself a better job. When somebody makes you come in on a day off or whatever the case may be, nothing can make you want to do what you're doing. That sort of a situation. I was super polite. Ordered as I normally did off their list that's at the counter line by line which I believed her to be marking as they normally do. I sat down at a table as I planned to eat there and trusted that when she called me after having MADE IT CORRECTLY, I could pay for it, TIP, and eat it. It turns out, no. This one needs you hovering like a vulture alongside her with your extremely close supervision. To think about it, I should have been noticing her crazy side eye!!! I believe without a doubt she purposely put everything I didn't order with just enough to make it look like she put in what I asked for (because they chop it to smithereens - I mean take out your corporate aggression here on your company, NOT ME) and then had the nerve to charge me for exactly what was ordered on my list. Just plain being evil and devious. Writing feedback directly to them does nothing, so if the customer doesn't appear to matter to them, why should a disgruntled employee? I did tip and what's more, I said thank you after having eaten most of it anyway because I wasn't about to fight her over this stupid nonsense. It's a salad. I didn't die from it. But no. My friend was all "that is expensive for a salad." But, after we ate them he was, "I'm so full. That was a really good salad." Yep, I got my dressing on the side and went to the park. The food was so good and the staff great. I appreciate the nice way they all said "hi" and basically were friendly. Parking was a chore, so I ran in and got the food, while my friend parked in the red zone out front (ready to move at a moments notice.)
