2 stars because our waiter was nice but besides that I hated it they added no bacon to my bacon cheeseburger and used dry sandwich bread on it. 16.49 for a burger chips and small drink and a small bag of Mrs Vickie's chips cooked on a gorge foreman grill with barley any seasoning. We have had breakfast there 2x this week and both times have had a great experience. Our service was good, food was hot and made to order. The employees have all been very friendly and helpful. We also had a great drinks (Bloody Mary) from the beach bar and enjoyed them on the beautiful beach steps away. read more

The second floor cafe was awesome for breakfast, lunch and snacks- and drinks. It was so close to our place. And the beach bar was close enough that I could walk up from my spot at the ocean to get another drink. I was so glad we stayed there and had those options. Would stay again and support both spots! read more

Our waitress couldn't have been nicer. Our sandwiches, that they called hamburgers were absolutely uneatable. Our friend who was with us ordered a chicken wrap and she was satisfied with hers. My husband and I ordered what we thought would be grilled hamburgers, ($16.99 each which is to be expected,) but what we received was what appeared to be a microwaved brown patty that had a sponge like texture which led me to wonder if it was soybean based. To be honest I wasn't sure if they had not been freezer burned. The bun was a French bread / baguette which to be honest the only part of the sandwich worth consuming. The side pasta salad was actually decent. My husband ate probably a little more than half of his, because we were hungry I ate two bites and couldn't get passed the appearance nor the texture. I made sure no other customer was in hearing distance when I walked inside to politely tell them that our sandwich's weren't eatable. A women who either owns it or manages it was immediately offended, and claimed that that was the first time anyone has ever told them that their hamburgers were not good and matter of fact, she was told they were the best they've ever had. Which is perplexing, I asked her where they microwaved because they didn't appear to be grilled, they did not answer. She just said well you could have your money back. I told her we had no intentions on wanting our money back I just thought she would like to know that the hamburgers were not acceptable. So when they brought us the bill, they had removed the hamburger costs. My husband went back into the café to say no, we are going to pay for the hamburgers, that was never our intentions. "We just thought you would want to know". Still defensive, she told him we didn't like them so no need to pay for them but still insisted that people have raved about them. He payed her the full amount of our order. Before writing this review I did see where another had not liked their hamburger either, which gave me some validation that this was not just a fluke. I believe if she had received our feedback as constructive criticism and more gracious my review would not have been so harsh. We have a family member who owns a condo here so we will be back to visit but unfortunately we will not recommend this place to anyone who asks. read more

We were excited to find that there was a cafe on site at Sunset Vistas. The Cubans were great. I do have to say everything else was mediocre. We ordered a double order of bacon to share and honestly it was super small for one order. We still tried it the next day. My hamburger was a frozen hard Patti that was warmed up. 2 others ordered chicken burritos that boasted grilled chicken and several other toppings.. the chicken seemed more like canned (def not freshly grilled) most of the other toppings on king any cheese at all were left off of this very small burrito for a lot of money considering. You would get a better burrito at Taco Bell for $4. The nachos were mediocre at best. I saw someone get a pizza that looked good. The frozen drinks were good. Our waitress was super annoyed at every question asked. No one complained. We just chalked it up to a mediocre/overpriced meal. We were also charged an automatic 20%, which is probably she is so unfriendly. read more

The Bar, I don't have enough good things to say about it!! Ali, the bartender, is the best. I would come back to TI just for her. The best prices for drinks, best atmosphere and location. It's like a hidden gem. The cafe, the nicest people working there! Their wraps (specifically buffalo chicken wrap) are great! Definitely on the smaller side, but still worth the price. read more

Used to love the cafe (the owner and employees have always been so nice and still are.) The cook has eczema and bandages all over his hands. Not a problem if he was cooking with gloves but nope... I understand that it is a non-contagious skin problem but he clearly couldn't wash his hands with all the bandages. Then I found his hair in my sandwich.... Didn't say anything but was so grossed out. He also smoked a cig and then went back inside and started cooking without washing his hands. Wanted to love it because they're so nice and accommodating, but was so grossed out by everything-- just couldn't. read more

While staying at Treasure Island I wanted to get a drink and something to eat along the water. So I stopped in and the Bartender Ali was amazing, she made drinks at the bar, went over to the pool and brought drinks, and also ran to the restaurant and get our sandwiches. She was very talkative and friendly, and doing all things at once. I was kind of surprised that when she ordered our food, that someone didn't bring us it, and she herself had to leave the bar to get it. Bar is AWESOME..... the cafe.. not so much. The first day the breakfast was extremely expensive and very low quality.. dry waffles, oily greasy omelette, the bacon was so thin it was see through... there was only 3of us and our tab was $58!!! The owner decided to add a $9 gratuity tip himself, which is ridiculous for 3 people and such low quality food and bare minimum service. It's dirty also dirty... we walked by the cook smoking a cigarette right outside the door then watched him go inside and immediately start cooking for , no gloves and he didn't wash his hands!!!!! This was our second year returning to the cafe & bar. The first year, we set out for the food based off of reviews. Ended up "drinking the board" to earn a t-shirt, followed it up with some amazing food. This year we intentionally went with the same goals in mind. Hidden Gem right off the beach. This review is for the Cafe not the bar - they are separate. The staff was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap with pasta salad. Both were homemade and delicious. My wife had the tuna melt which was freshly prepared and delicious as well. We will be back! read more

This place was mediocre at best. We went on a Friday morning to get some food after our flight. We were the only ones at the cafe and yet we received the worst service known to man. Our waitress was so rude. I had ordered a egg and cheese without bacon and when I saw that I got bacon on my sandwich, I kindly reminded her that I requested no bacon due to a dietary restrictions. She immediately rolled her eyes, grabbed my plate and left. Not to mention, the portions are so incredibly small for the price and wasn't all that satisfying either. Total disappointment! Can make the same and probably better at home! Don't bother! I got the Greek wrap, it was just ok, lots of red onions which in my opinion is a cheap filler. There were a few chunks of chicken in the wrap. My BF got the roast beef panini which was $9...had two slices of meat, one slice of tomato, few bits of blue cheese...THATS IT! Unbelievable. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place during our trip to treasure island last week. Let me start by saying that Cheryl and Ally were awesome bartenders (they were the only two we met I'm sure everyone else is great as well) the drinks were awesome, and the vibe & music was great too! It was so nice being able to roll off the beach and sit down and have a couple drinks before heading back to our room. If you get a chance to check this place out please do and ask for a punch card!
