The servers come directly to your table and they write down the menu for the day. The menu generally run American classics, but a bit more "chefy" than a run of the mill diner. Unfortunately, I think I came on an off day, as there were some miscues. The clam dish had a ton of potential, but was noticeably overseasoned, and I'm a self-proclaimed salt lover. It was mentioned that the pork chop was going to be medium to medium-rare, but what we received was in the edge of well done (and even burned on some ends). The burger and fries, though, were fantastic. A bit hit or miss, but I do want to come back as the menu is creative and I'm sure it would have been great on a better day.

I have been going to this restaurant for a very long time. I have lived in Greenpoint 52 years. But lately, the last 20 orders or more, either eating in, or delivered, almost every singe time, the order ends up wrong one way or another. Recently, I went there around 10:30pm, and the Latino waiter helped me and a girl friend. Every single time he approached us he directed himself to the girl who is Hispanic, asked what she wanted and walked away. Like I was invisible. He did it once, he did it twice, he did it three times. I would have to yell out my order as he walked away. Then he returns with the wrong order, or something missing that I specifically asked for in the beginning of the order.He clearly wasn't paying attention to me, or deliberately not getting it right. The restaurant wasn't that busy, and the girl wasn't too distracting. So not sure what the problem was, but there was clearly a problem. I felt a bit discriminated against. On top of that, I went home and was sick in the bathroom from the food. I will not be dinning there ever again. I have been giving them the benefit of the doubt, but it is horrible(borderline racist, almost lawsuit worthy) service after all these years. Done. read more

If the Hispanic waiter is working, and you're Caucasian, don't expect to be served properly. He will leave you there waiting, with only one other Hispanic customer being serviced, totally ignore you, then when he finally takes your order, it will be very wrong. I would go here often over the years and service has become absolutely terrible, disgusting, and rude. I suspect the food was mishandled as well. Went home sick. read more

Came here with my girlfriend for breakfast. We ordered the simplest items on the menu, eggs and pancakes and it took over an hour for us to get them. When we got them the pancakes were burned and the eggs were ice cold. An overall bad experiance. read more
