As the name of the bakery implies, it's "Perfectly Sweet"…read more I'm generally a bit more wary of purchasing baked goods from non-Asian bakeries since they tend to be sweeter than what my palate likes, but not here! The hours are a bit limited, but I managed to make it in time to grab some pre-made baked goods to go. I got a bag of coconut macaroons, bag of several chocolate chip cookies, 2 red velvet cookies, a baked dog cookie biscuit, and a cute Keroppi sugar cookie. Most of these ended up being gifts, but I did enjoy one of the red velvet cookies and for an already sweet flavor profile with white chocolate chips in it, I was already fearing the worse, but went perfect with a glass of milk. The edges were nicely crisped by the baking too. Delicious. Love that they had a stock of cute, pre-decorated cookies available as well (some Sanrio characters, animals, etc.) They also list all the ingredients used in each of the baked goods that they have prepackaged, which is nice. It's also a cafe where you can order drinks, as well as a place you can order cakes custom order or what they have behind the glass already. There's both seating inside and outside.

D'ange Bakery is an Asian bakery located on the corner of Mission x Main St. (that turns into Las…read moreTunas). There's a small parking lot in the back, but spaces can be hard to find and I ended up having to park on the street the first time I went. (FYI - they are going to open a Goomo tea shop on the corner in the same space!) D'ange has so many fun flavors of buns. I really liked the taro with mochi one. The only thing about the buns is that the fillings tend to be only on one side of the bun, so there are been times as I'm biting into the bun, I'm not getting any filling until the last couple bites. They even sell cookies and all different flavors of toast that would make some yummy brick toast desserts! And if you need a whole cake, they have them in the case ready to go too! The buns I got were great, as were the Portuguese egg tarts. They even sold Chinese tamales at my last visit, so I picked one up too. I don't know many places that sell these, and I used to eat them all the time when my grandma made them years ago, but now that no one in my family knows how to make them, it's a special treat if I can find it. They have ones with meat (with or without peanuts), and some with just the mung bean. They must be really know for this because 2 other parties ahead of me were buying tons of the tamales!

TGTG is an app that allows businesses to sell their leftover or flawed goods for a discounted price in a bundle of their choice. So you don't know what you get, BUT it reduces food waste (#sustainability) while being easier on your wallet. You pay a price they name and they give you the value they listed. The owner (I presume) handed us a prepackaged brown bag the moment we got there. It wasn't busy at all so the whole transaction was under 5 minutes. It's a mom & pop Asian bakery that's spacious and warm. Our surprise bag contained 7 mini breads: black sesame mochi, red sesame mochi, taro bun with filling, hot dog cheese bread, buo luo bao, ham + cheese bun, and another bread I couldn't quite identify. This is $21 value for $6.99 is what we paid. After heating them up, they tasted almost like fresh so we can't complain. However, I would say these days $3 would get you bigger buns at other similar bakeries, but their fillings were very generous, so it's hard to say. Parking has spots designated to the bakery so look out for the signs.

I've tried a few of their mousse cakes and Portuguese tarts, and everything has been delicious. Those adorable fluffy animal cakes might look too cute to eat, but trust me, they're totally crave-worthy! As someone who loves anything chocolate or mango, I know I'll be coming back often. A fun treat to try: freeze-dried mousse cake bites. They'd make an awesome ice cream topping! Highly recommend stopping by if you have a sweet tooth.

Nothing notable to say about the service. Brown Bear - $8.75 Rating: (5/10) At first look, the dessert is almost too cute to eat. The taste, once you actually start eating it, was really light, almost tasteless, with a lack of depth to the chocolate flavor. There was also very minimal rasqpberry and strawberry filling. Garlic Bird - $8.75 Rating: (1/10) This dessert was honestly pretty awful. The pairing of flavors is a bit odd and bold. The crisp green grape flavor is very difficult to pair well with the earthy notes of jasmine and taro. The combination of grape and a pasty taro filling doesn't work well, in my opinion. It feels like a bad take on the trending jasmine grape drinks with chewy taro balls. Strawberry Mousse - $7.50 Rating: (4/10) It was okay. There was too much going on inside this small dessert, and the flavor of the jammy interior was a bit weird. The description listed strawberry and pistachio jam, raspberry puree, chocolate crystal jelly, and Baileys Irish Cream. Egg Tart - $0.99 Rating: (10/10) If I ever come back, I'll buy a dozen of these egg tarts for $12. Pretty good, and the price is unbeatable.

There is a good balance of sweet vs savory breads. The pineapple bun and matcha mochi bun are especially good. Everything here is pretty affordable too. As for cakes, there is also a decent selection. They sell individual cake slices as well as whole cakes that are perfect for celebrations. The brick toast is amazing, but it is only available for dine in and only during certain hours. I would highly recommend the Volcano Strawberry Toast. Even their drink menu is quite significant. There are fresh teas, milk teas, fruit teas, slushes, frosted milk, and coffees. Their drinks do lean towards the sweeter side. For fruit teas, you can taste the syrup pretty clearly. I do prefer their milk teas instead. Although nothing amazing, the drinks are still worth trying alongside some bread.

Everything before this was fine, we drink, eat, talk for a good amount of time. Until one of my friend decided to get this cake pop, ate it half way and saw mold in it. We asked the cashier and we did got our money back. And hey, accidents happens. But the thing is this is not the first time this happen to me. My sister got a Taro Cake here before (~5,6 months before) and it was super sour. We thought it was the way it is but she try it a different day and the taste was completely different. What that means? The 1st cake already expired and they have 0 idea about it. The services here are really depends on who it is. Some of them will talk to you like they just want u to leave asap but some are really sweet and kind. I really love this place and I hope they will improve it so no one will get food poisoining. Peace.
