Every dish tried here has been very tasty and their huevos are to die for: a unique presentation with excellent flavors and textures. Best huevos I've ever had, for sure. This is our go to spot for breakfast. Food is always good and staff always very friendly. Get there early or the wait can be a bit. The plus is that they do having online check in. Love that. Haven't tried anything from the lunch menu, so can't speak to that, but the breakfast is always really good. The inside is bright and welcoming. What an outstanding place we found for breakfast and lunch! This is a cute little café that is filled with delicious menu items, and from the experience we had, everybody seems to love it!. This place is really not as great as the reviews make it sound.... like not even close. Like many of you, we were expecting an affordable, well serviced and yummy restaurant for brunch with my husband. Well, let me tell you this place was none of those things. It first started when we were being seated. The hostess wanted to sit us inside (after being on the wait list for 40 minutes). There were multiple tables outside however so we asked to sit outside. She rolled her eyes, and rudely regrabbed two menus. When my husband tried to fill the awkward silence by saying, "it's because the weather is so nice!" - she didn't even respond. Then the food. The food came out quickly however, it was brought out by someone other than our server. Our server hadn't brought utensils to our table so we waited for 10-15 minutes, watching our food, until our server finally came over since we hadn't started eating....... by then our food was cold. The food was REALLY mediocre. Absolutely nothing special, maybe even below standards as you're about to see below. They charged two dollars extra for avocado. For 2 dollars extra, I'm expecting minimum half an avocado. INSTEAD WE GOT 1/6, literally I couldn't even believe how much of a rip off. AND THERE WAS AVOCADO seed residue throughout all of it!!! It was actually disgusting. You'd be chewing a piece of egg and run into a hard texture of avocado seed. You could tell no care was placed at this restaurant for common courtesy, it's super overpriced for being a super basic diner food, and the service is awful. Save yourself the trouble and don't come here!! Plenty of other good bfast spots in town. read more

Our breakfast was great! Our party of 4 all agreed. We had Eric as our waiter and he was friendly, personable, and attentive to our needs. We ordered breakfast burritos, southwest omelet, and pancakes. The pancakes were freakin' delish! The salsa they served with the omelette was red and just ok. We asked for something spicier and Eric brought us their salsa verde and that was perfect! They should serve this one alongside the omelette instead, in my opinion The other great part was their coffee We all enjoyed the coffee! They brew Passport coffee and it is amazing! Today we carried out from Yolk Cafe for lunch. Our order included the Triple Decker Club Sandwich and a Greek Salad. Both were delicious! The club sandwich had includes ham and turkey with tomato, mayo and bacon. For the side you can choose from house made chips or for a small upcharge cottage cheese, french fries, coleslaw or onion rings are available. We chose the cottage cheese and it was a very generous portion. I ordered the Greek Salad which at first glance I thought was a bit pricey, but I was wrong. It starts with a bed of crisp, fresh romaine, red leaf and green leaf lettuces. It's then topped off with tomatoes, cucumber, red onion a generous serving of black olives and feta cheese. This is one of my Girlfriend's and my favorite places for Sunday brunch. The mimosas are wonderful, and they have a great variety, including prickly pear, and rose water. We met some friends for brunch this morning - what an amazing place! I felt comfortable with the social distancing they had in place (closing every other table, all servers wearing masks, etc.) and their use of texting when your table was ready. The food was amazing. I only ordered the traditional breakfast, but they cooked the eggs perfectly, and the bacon was crispy as requested. My family ordered the biscuits and gravy and the Huevos Rancheros, and let me try a bite. Best Rancheros I've every had, and the fam agrees. We went there the day before Easter and the surroundings were definitely Easter themed. Eggs hanging from the roof, little eggs and signs everywhere, and all of the servers were wearing rabbit ears.
