Big restaurant with a nice bright decor. Located a short distance from the freeway which makes it an easy stop on the way into the mountains to ski. Because it's big, no wait during this Covid debacle. Friendly staff who did a great job. They have a very large selection of food, even trout and eggs!! I had a traditional breakfast with eggs and crispy hash browns. And surprisingly they were really crispy. Most places don't do that even when you ask. Really good pancake as a side. My buddy had the previously mentioned trout which he loved. I was surprised a diner would serve fresh trout with the skin on, but this is Colorado. Coffee was great. WOW!!! Quite possibly the Best breakfast experience we've Ever had! The wait wasn't short, but WELL Worth it! Kevin our server really listened to every special request and made sure it was PERFECT!! Here's our rundown of the food and beverages. Mimosa Pitcher was the EXACT color you want Mimosas to be, mostly bubbles vs the OJ so they were Perfect! Biscuits and Gravy (we ordered to share as a center piece with the table, and Kevin thoughtfully sent them out ahead of the food, and brought us plates to share) Delicious! Eggs Benedict were solid, cooked perfect such that the yolk was the perfect amount of runny, but held intact on the outside. We ordered extra crispy hash browns and they were SOOOOO Good, perfectly golden crispy. Really a surprise, I feel sometimes they get burned by other places when asking for crispy. Highly disappointed. My husband and I are visiting from IL and staying at a local resort. Not many places to choose from inside the resort so we decided to DoorDash. I don't know if the food would have been different in restaurant.. but I doubt it. I paid $20 for cinnamon roll French toast. It wasn't even French toast to begin with. Just two dry cinnamon rolls. The icing was different but actually decent.. but $20??? The size alone wasn't even worth that price. The cinnamon roll we ordered on the side... portion was good but honestly tasted like they used salt instead of sugar. Absolutely delicious. We had a 30 minute wait, which was no big deal because of all the little shops around. They text you when your table is ready. Nestled off of the main road in Frisco lies this gem. Now, I will acknowledge that I was somewhat biased by the name walking in, however, in spite of the food quality, this experience was a miss for us. We were seated quickly, our server came over and took our order. We ordered iced coffee (canned from Dazbog) and then our food. The food took a bit, we ran out of creamer and Splenda. My husband decided he wanted a Dr. Pepper so we asked for one when the server came to take our order. We then sat and waited. The server didn't come and check on us again. I got her attention at one point and asked again for the Dr. Pepper as it had been several minutes. When I asked, she turned around, widened her eyes at me and said "it is coming." Our food came several minutes later. I ordered steak and eggs which were ok, the steak was a little underseasoned. The hash browns were delicious! A different server brought our meal out. We were eating and the original server brought out our cinnamon roll, she set it down hard on the table and my fork was knocked off my plate onto the table flinging hash browns off the plate. No apology or recognition. She didn't come back again until I got her attention and asked to pay. Delicious food for the most part but we wouldn't come back based on the service alone. read more

Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, especially for a mountain town. Staff seemed fully aware of what was vegan and what wasn't. Makes for a great lunch stop when driving to Breckinridge or Steamboat. Vegetarian options are clearly marked. Many can be made vegan with small changes that the staff has no issues making. Some of the vegan options: - Veggie breakfast burrito with added tofu - Veggie Galore scramble added tofu - Bean burger pattie (swap in on any of their burgers for $1.50) - Vegetarian cooker sandwich without cheese - Vegetarian green chile (also vegan) - Soy milk for coffee drinks Was so happy to see that they have these options and will plan to return next time we come through to try more dishes, but this time around I had the breakfast burrito with tofu added and it was underwhelming. The green chile had a decent flavor but seemed to fade away after the first few bites. The burrito itself had a ton of pepper/onions that were cut in large pieces making them somewhat flavorless. Best place for breakfast in Summit County hands down. The owners are always there and politely seat you which always makes for a great experience. During these challenging times they are taking extra precautions to accommodate their guest. I ate there for the first time in three months yesterday and felt extremely comfortable with all of their precautions. We stop here for breakfast on our way to ski every weekend. The food, staff and service are top notch. We just got comped breakfast because we waited "too long" which we didn't think was that long, but that was super, super nice on their part. Maybe they ski/board too and pride themselves on getting us out the door as full and quickly as possible so we can hit the slopes!! That says a lot about this establishment in my opinion.
