Delicious breakfast before going snowshoeing. I had the French toast and eggs. French toast slices were huge, fresh and tasty. The eggs were so so-sunny side up but weak looking. The service was top notch-she also gave us a great recommendation of where to hike. Thank you! read more

Was showing some properties in Dillion and stumbled upon this place. Entering the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful suggesting drink options. The lady got the famous sunshine bloody marry and I a cold Bud Light. I then ordered the 14'er salad which was large enough to feed a small family for only $14. Service was fine. The food was not great. We had biscuits and gravy and it was horrible. It was gooey in the middle, cold, and bland tasting. The scrambled eggs on the side were way over cooked and cold as well. They let me reorder pancakes and eggs. The pancakes were fine and then eggs were warm this time but still over cooked. Friendly Quick service from all the staff. Our server Estina was excellent and attentive. We split delicious Huevos Rancheros and a wonderful blueberry muffin that had a perfect crunch on the outside. Finally a place that also makes crispy hash browns just the way we like them. Good coffee too- not bitter. Must wear masks. Thankful to see them Operating at 50% and cautiously keeping six feet separation with patrons. Great place and definitely will return. read more

The food is very good. Before ordering we noticed the portions seemed generous and looked appetizing. We shared the generous Buckboard Burger (seemed about a 1/2 lb. (?) of fresh ground beef, w/mushroom, grilled onions & avocado), fries on the side ($12.95) and ordered the generous Lunch Side Salad ($7). Came here for brunch with my boyfriend before our hike in Dillon. This place reminds me of First Watch back in Kansas! Everything was so yummy and fresh! The server was very helpful and nice to us. Terrible food even worse service. New management/ownership is god awful. Biscuits were so dry my dogs wouldn't even eat them( yes we took the food with us after they insisted on charging us even though they didn't even attempt the correct the issue and only one bite had been taken)!! If I could give negative stars I absolutely would. There's too many other options in the area to tolerate the poor customer service attempts. read more

When I'm in Colorado I want pork green chili. I want it alone in a soup bowl or covering my breakfast. This place did not have good pork green chili so for me it's back to the Mountain Lyon Cafe where IMO it's the very best in the area. Service here was excellent and possibly over friendly? Was here with a client and really did not know what to expect. I saw a variety of items that looked but ended up with the veggies galore and egg. I asked for the hash browns to be crisp and they were on par with that. The veggies, wow they really gave a great portion size and the flavor, the blend of vegetables and the taste was simply outstanding. The service was great, but really enjoyed the vegetable mix. My wife and I were driving through on our way to Steamboat and quickly looked up a place for lunch. Score! Walking in the décor was very nice and the restaurant is very well kempt. Awesome atmosphere. We both decided on the Baby Doe Tabor sandwiches. Delicious! Juicy, tasty meat - must slice it themselves - paired so nicely with sourdough bread that was perfectly toasted. Great food, OK price, good service. We had chicken fried steak and eggs, Philly cheese and a great salad. All were very good to excellent and everything was a nice presentation especially the salad with the sides all separate and nicely prepared (bacon, cheese, chicken). Ample portions. Had to wait about 20 minutes on a rainy cold Tuesday at 1:30 PM. Have to believe weekends, nice days and peak times most likely have a long wait. Place was very clean, including immaculate bathroom and witnessed an employee wiping down window ledges (an indication of care and thoroughness). Will absolutely return. read more

Love Sunshine Cafe. Have been coming here for over 20 years and it just gets better. Expect a wait but know it will be worth it. Stopped in with a party of 7 Sunday at 11:30am. Waited about 45 min. All staff was super attentive and were able to meet dietary restrictions for those with issues. My husband and I had the Local's bkfts burrito $11.50. Delish! Great green chili and the hash browns were cooked perfectly. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well! Our waiter was great. All facilities were clean. We always stop here on our way home from Breck. There is usually a wait but it's worth it. The service is always quick and efficient, staff is in a great mood, and prices are reasonable. We are newly remodeled and expanded so if you havent been to Sunshine Cafe since May of 2016, you are in for a nice surprise. The owners, Mike and Tenley are longtime Colorado residents who love to share their joy of food and hospitality with all our guests. We have recently expanded and remodeled so we would love to share our story with you as we continue to legacy of Sunshine Cafe in Summit county. Plenty of parking to the sides, shared restroom also and mostly, amazing views of main street looking toward the west!

This place was a serendipitous find for me, but I'm glad I drove past! I was leaving Breckenridge…read moregoing toward Vail and saw this place on Frisco's Main Street on the path to the freeway so I pulled off cause it looked cute. Indeed it was! The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. There was plenty of parking right out front, and it's on the main road so lots of other little fun shops around. There are shared bathrooms (between the businesses right around there); they're clean enough. And the food - it's excellent! I had the truffle scramble which is a truffle omelette ($17) with add ins, and comes with a side of hash browns and homemade toast or biscuit (I got the toast). I also ordered some earl grey tea with a side of vanilla syrup/milk (to make a London fog since it wasn't on their menu), and that was so lovely with the breakfast. I was quite full after all that, didn't need another meal until dinner although I ate at like 8:30am. Also the place got pretty full by 9a, a good number of people were on the waitlist and all the tables were full, so it gets busy! It's worth it tbh, I really liked the food and vibe. Would def recommend :)
