I interviewed several companies for our complete backyard remodel, and it was apparent from the beginning that Sean was the best. He came up with a creative design for our backyard that provided more privacy; an entertainment space with a bar, tv, fire pit; and an outdoor kitchen. He asks questions to understand what your needs are and how you envision yourself using your yard to come up with a 3-D rendering of your ideal space. Sean has an eye for design and thinks of the big picture and the small details. We had to wait several months for the crew to start, but in my mind that was a good sign that Envirogreen was well sought after. They were worth the wait! Envirogreen has their own crews, instead of a bunch of subcontractors. Their crew, led by Abraham, was punctual, reliable, and hardworking. They showed up 5-6 days a week and worked long days until our project was complete. This kind of work ethic and reliability is so rare these days. Sean communicated with us throughout the entire process and his insights allowed us to make some decisions to improve the original plan as needed (i.e.- installed one bigger propane tank to serve our smoker, grill, fire pit, and indoor stove instead of added another smaller one). Envirogreen does good quality work, and we are very happy with the results! When we are ready to have work done on our front yard, we will be calling Envirogreen again!

Originally I was pretty satisfied of the work done with my back yard. The crew that was hired by…read moreMatt (the one leading the project) was very fast and they made quick work of breaking up my concrete walkway and patio and laying pavers and turf. I paid what I thought was a really good price for this project. Upon inspection of my yard I noticed lots of strands of long black pieces along the edges, longer turf in some spots and not in others, nails sticking up around the pavers, missing infill in spots around the turf, large gaps between paver walkway and turf, uneven pavers and big gaps all throughout the pavers where the crew didn't put any polymeric sand in between the joints. So I reached out to Matt who was leading the whole project who assured me he would come and take a look at it while also making sure the crew did a good job and if there was anything else needed and he also said he would bring polymeric sand. It took him two days to do this. He brought a $5 bag of paver sand (which is not the same as polymeric I found) with him from Home Depot and I think just pretended to sweep it into my pavers? There looked to be no effort in filling any gaps. He told me there's no need for the joints to have sand in between them. And also grass being higher in random spots is normal and apart of helping it look natural. I decided to do a little of my own research and found that it is in fact a vital part of laying pavers to fill them with polymeric sand. So I went into my yard and found the sand he brought had a ton of small rocks in it. Not knowing it was the wrong sand I took it upon myself to sift out all the sand from the rocks and fill the voids. That was a ton of extra work on my part. Now knowing that this sand was the wrong type and also will require maintenance and me topping it off just adds to my frustration. He told me if there's anything I need to contact him and he can help. I decided against contacting him because I feel he is just a good salesman and takes advantage of people knowing they don't know what's right and what's wrong. Although I initially felt I got a good deal on this project, I fear I may have got what I paid for. It's still a huge chunk of change with the frustration i am left dealing with. I also am concerned with the integrity of their work

When Derek came on site, he was very friendly and respectful, thoroughly explaining the process and what to expect throughout. Ultimately, we thought the quote was very fair and reflected everything we had discussed. He and his team started on time and were very communicative during the process, checking in each day and sending pictures/videos. Overall, we're incredibly pleased with the result! All in all, it took about 4 months to complete the project from design, permits, and start to finish, and this seems on par with other pool building companies in our communities. Their crew worked in the dead heat of our Arizona summer heat waves and although we offered coolers for them, they were self prepared. I am happy to report that after enjoying our pool for a full year, no issues to be reported of the pool. Kangaroo pools have remained in contact, and fixed any issues (very minor) that cropped up. Vince, Vanessa, German and their teams coordinated well and were responsive in their texts throughout the build. The key to working well with them is making sure you're ontop of your own communication, articulation, and clarity.
