It has been six months since I used Sunshine Gutters to replace all the gutters on my home when I had it completely re-sided (with Hardie Siding) but I still feel it is important to share what a great experience I had with Sunshine Gutters. I've been a homeowner for just 4 years and actually called Sunshine in the first year to have them look at my gutters to see if they were okay or needed repair or cleaning. Nir was very honest and stated that my gutters were adequate and I didn't need to spend money at that time. I appreciated that he didn't try to take advantage of me. I remembered this and called him last summer when I was trying to finalize arrangements for my siding project. He not only gave me a fair deal (he wouldn't have to demo the existing gutters because my siding contractor's team would do that so he gave me a discount) but he coordinated directly with my contractor. When it came to installing the new gutters and downspouts I didn't like where the seam came out in one of the downspouts and the lead installer re-did the work without blinking an eye. I appreciate that Sunshine Gutters does a quality job and gives their team the empowerment to do the right thing for the customer. While Sunshine Gutters isn't the cheapest place out there they are reasonably priced for the very high quality job they do. I wouldn't consider using anyone else and I am 100% confident they will back the work they have done on my home. Between the siding and gutters my 74 year old home looks almost brand new. They made an appt for the next day (or the day after?) Other contractors were unavailable for weeks out. Think carefully before you engage them in services. I used them years ago to redo my gutter system. They did well initially as the owner Nir was on site. Recently I engaged them again to clean my gutters. It has been an AWFUL experience. They rescheduled the original date of cleaning with me with plenty of attitude from the office woman. They cleaned it within 30 minutes and left Sat morning. My friend let us know a few hours later that there was something left on my roof. They had left a big grey work bag on my roof! I called them repeatedly, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. At end of day on Monday, they finally had the courtesy to pick up the phone and when I notified them of it, they said it was too late to remove it that day, they would let me know when they could retreive it. I told them I was very disappointed by this and she gave me more attitude. They didn't move it until end of Wednesday, right when the biggest storm of the last 5 years was threatening to move in (mid Dec). Anyhow, I thought the interaction was incredibly unprofessional and I will not be a repeat customer again. Their office DEFINITELY did not tell me what was in the bag although they now claim otherwise. I told them I had a lot of anxiety about that bag and at NO time did they say, don't worry, it's a sweatshirt in the big gray workbag. Besides, if they do a job, shouldn't they take all their crap with them instead of leaving it on your roof for 5 days. It's absurd. The rescheduling due to rain I understand. The attitude each time you get dealing with that office is bewildering. This is a service being provided that I am paying for. They make it seem they are doing you a favor. read more

When they called back I explained again what I needed and was told they would only come out to install new gutters but would not do any repairs to existing ones. Don't approach for a small job (gutter seam repair) they'll try to sell u on a total gutter cleaning because ur gutters are full (which they are not). Then when they only do part of the job, they'll still want full Pymt, but settle for half. The n when u discover at 1st rain that repairs were not done, they refuse to fix unless u have ALL gutters cleaned for $485. I was pleasantly satisfied with the quality of service received. The initial meeting and estimation part went very smoothly, everything was explained to me and the quote for schedule and costs were reasonable. The workers showed up as scheduled, did a great job, everything was cleaned up prior to completion. There was no change in the cost part. They then had me inspect their work prior to leaving. I did notice that they had forgotten to put my cable wiiring, and other wires, back up. When I pointed this out they immediately rectified the problem. I was very satisfied with the work. read more

They did an excellent job replacing gutters. Sunshine accidentally underestimated the amount of gutter needed for the house. The foreman on the job noticed this once he arrived to do the work. He called the owner Nir, and Nir brought the extra gutter that was needed while the crew continued to work. We had about 50-100 gallons of water spilling over our gutters during each rain storm so we called Sunshine Gutters. They put up flashing to divert the errant water into our existing gutters. They couldn't do much more than that without replacing our gutters because ours is an older variety they don't carry. After another rainstorm came and the flashing didn't suffice, they came to look at the problem and then sent out another crew to make the flashing bigger under warranty. They did reschedule us a few times, but we understood we were the lowest job on the totem pole so didn't mind too much. read more

I had really old wooden gutters that kept leaking when it would rain hard. I had sunshine gutters come and patch up the leaks. They very quickly and fairly changed them. They recommended that I eventually get all new gutters that were not wooden to make my problem permanently go away. About a year later i did that. The team is awesome! they work really fast and were done with the whole house in two days. They gave me the option of a payment plan as well. One of the co-owners, Nir, came out to supervise the job of cleaning our gutters and installing a "glove" like protective cover over a particularly clogged gutter suspected of causing a leak in the adjacent room below. I called Sunshine based on Yelp reviews. Boy was that a mistake. They came at the wrong time, when I was not there, with ladders that were too short. Instead of being honest they did the half of the job that they could reach. Then they wanted $100 more to come back and finish because "it's a three story building". For the record it is a two story victorian with a 4' crawl space at the rear. They were lame, call somebody else. But I did get a free 1/2 gutter cleaning----whoopi Bottom line here is that they didn't get the job done. read more

I got a $99 groupon for gutter cleaning. Scheduling was a bit difficult as they kept wanting to come out when it was convenient for them but not me even tho we had an agreed upon time. But no harm in asking I guess. They came out and cleaned the perimeter gutters and said we had "corroded" downspouts and wanted to replace them right then and there without any written or oral estimate. As if I am going to give anyone a blank check. They did reassemble part of the downspout but left parts on the ground. Eventually I did get a written estimate but it was over $1000 for two downspouts. I declined. Several month later my neighbor was having some work done on their roof and the worker ended up flushing out our downspout which was full of stuff. (Cost $0) So guess what? Sunshine did not even flush the downspouts at all!! They were hoping I would just shell out over 1K for new ones. Beware all you high star reviewers..you may still have plugged downspouts!! read more

Sunshine Gutters installed new gutters and downspouts at my home. It was an all day job. The workers were efficient and professional. The installers knew their products. Nir was easy to work with. We had rain two days after the installation. It was terrific watching the gutters and downspouts in action. No more rain on my head when I leave my house!! The area around the house was neater than when they started. The technicians didn't leave until I was absolutely satisfied with the job. I thought the price was reasonable also. I picked gray downspouts and they absolutely match my house so you don't notice them. The white gutters worked well with my house too. There was a small hiccup that I found after they left.
