I was in need of a new cleaning service and I called this company because it had good stars and reviews on yelp. I spoke to someone and they had arranged for a cleaning a couple days later. When I waited that day for them to come, after 2 hours I didn't hear anything nor did I receive any type of communication that they weren't coming. Okay, so awesome cleaners when they showed up to my place when I was scheduled. Huge issue. Messaged the owner of the company and requested a move out clean at a set time. Time came and a no show. Owner stated there was an emergency and that she would need to come the next day and I completely get that. Next day came and still no response. Stated she would let me know when they were available and never communicated whatsoever. I told her that this was my final move out clean and that I was leaving the apartment that day and she still did not respond. I am highly disappointed, I hired Veronica to come out & clean my home 2 months ago & when she left I asked her to return in 4 weeks. She did not, I reached out to her & she sent a crew of 2 and they broke a shell tray and did not say a word about it, one of the two females was slapping the woods blinds in the dining room and mishandling them, I had to ask to go over the kitchen floor because there was still dog food on the floor, I also had to ask them to remove all things off the wood tables, buffet & consoles to treat the wood with wood spray or oil, the mirror in the bathroom was not cleaned, the door jams were left dusty, top of microwave left dusty, backsplash in the restroom not cleaned visually dirty & had to remind of not using certain solubles for cleaning because of my allergies & not enter one bedroom. Sunshine cleaners came out one time to my house and cleaned. They did fine and I had requested they come every two weeks and they agreed. Two weeks later, I was depending on them coming again, and I tried to confirm the day before. They never answered my calls or texts, and never showed up. Clearly if they didn't want my future business, they could have just told me they wouldn't be able to do that. But instead, they just didn't show up. Very, very poor business practice. EXCELLENT JOB! Called Veronica a week before scheduled cleaning, she came out over the weekend (on a Sunday morning) to inspect the home for a more accurate price estimate. She had a checklist to see what services would be included in a general cleaning request and what services would be considered an additional expense. Her final estimate was very reasonable and comparable to competing house cleaning services. She came in a few days later with her crew of 4 ladies, early in the AM and right on time. Instead of delegating the work to others, she got her hands dirty and scrubbed in with her team to make sure all cupboards and corners were tended to. I waited a while to write this because I was upset at first and didn't want to rate them unfairly. I had a cleaning done in August and it was very complicated; just about the worst communication with the owner Ive ever had over a service. They were over 4 hours late, and the owner would say her staff were "on the way" when they in fact weren't. She was also hard to reach during this 4 hour debacle and I was in the hospital about to come home with a new baby. However, all that being said, the cleaning itself was excellent so I'm giving them 4 stars. They were extremely thorough and fairly quick. It sounds like they are a newer business, so the logisitics just aren't smooth; the owner texted me days later confirming someone else's appointment. I referred this company/veronica to a friend of mine that was moving out of an apartment because she had done good work in the past. As everyone knows when moving out of a place you have a dead line to move out by. She agreed to clean that Friday knowing it was for a move out. She completely flaked then said she would be there Saturday. Again flaked but this time no call no show and wasn't responding to text or calls from multiple phones. Unfortunately, I'm unable to rate Veronica's service as we never got that far... We originally set up an estimate for Saturday between 6-7pm. On that Saturday at 6:42pm Veronica sent me a text to tell me that one of her employees got sick, left at noon and that she was just finishing up her day and lost track of time. I was annoyed, but things happen. She text me the next day asking if she could stop by and we made an appointment for 4pm. She arrived a few minutes early with her young son in tow. Because her son is a toddler, he was into everything in our home- chasing our cat, spilling the pet bowl of water, walking on our couch, etc. It was a bit overwhelming, but understandable as it was Sunday and not normal business hours. We negotiated a price for bi-weelky cleanings and scheduled the first cleaning for the following Wednesday at 9am. By 9:45 on Wednesday, no one had showed up for our appointment and I sent a text to Veronica. She responded with, "No worries, I will be there in 30 minutes." At that point my husband and I decided we were no longer interested in hiring Veronica and we canceled our service (that never began). Veronica is professional, she presented me with a list of things her and her team will clean with a list of "add-on's". Brilliant! The day Veronica showed up at my apartment to clean it, she was professional, on time and my apartment sparkled because it was so clean! There were a few areas on some tile in the bathroom that were stained or something, but Veronica showed the spots to my fiancé, and told him she spent time cleaning the floors but these spots just would not go away. I am not picky person, but this gesture, again, showed me that Veronica wants everyone to be happy with the service she provides. The areas of my apartment that were cleaned were the living room, dining room, 2 bathrooms (including showers), kitchen, bedroom and closet. Just like another reviewer I never got as far as the cleaning with this company. I called Veronica a few weeks ago to set up a cleaning of a college apartment after the girls had moved out. I really wanted a good kitchen and bathroom cleaning and vacuuming for this one bedroom apartment. We agreed on the day and time and cost and I thought everything was set in place. Yesterday I texted Veronica in the morning to confirm our 3pm appointment. My daughter had to be out of the apartment by 5pm and I had organized for two ladies to do a one hour cleaning. Veronica texted back that she couldn't get there until 4:15pm. I no longer had time for her to clean for an hour with the 5pm deadline. At 4:25pm I called and I left a voice mail that there was no longer time and we should cancel the appointment. Veronica called me back and gave a long winded story about how her car had been parked in all day and that she couldn't get out. I told her if she had told me that in the morning I would have picked her up. Long story short, I had to clean with very minimal cleaning supplies as the apartment was empty at this stage.
