5 stars because of quality, convenience and the value of nostalgia. I've been coming here since I was a kid, back when one slice was $1 flat. It makes me sad that the price has doubled since then but it is a business after all, and price increases are necessary to keep up rising costs for...well, everything nowadays. Anyway, For $5 now you can get 2 slices and a drink: a cheap, filling and satisfying meal for anybody, especially poor and lazy students like myself. My personal faves include Hawaiian, Canadian (bacon and mushroom), and spicy chicken. I love it. The pizza is greasy but it's my type of pizza. I also like there drink selection and there variety of different types of pizza. My personal favorites are, sausage and bacon and mushrooms (Canadian). My friends and I all call it "Joyce pizza" because it is near Joyce Station. and it's catchy I have been going to it since I was a kid and I never get tired of it. I also like how I can pay a solid 10$ for seven slices without having to find change because there isn't any tax...or they just round it off. read more

I've had this pizza several times due to the proximity to where I live and at the behest of others. It is simply mediocre. It's inauthentic, overly doughy and usually undercooked. If you think this pizza is "Super Great" you haven't had good pizza before, and that's sad. read more

I've been going to this place since highschool. It was better back then when you could get a slice for $1 including tax. Now it's much more expensive but the recipe is the same. VERY doughy/heavy, but tasty. Good as a treat and perfect as drunk food. read more

This place is right at the Joyce Skytrain station. This used to known as Joyce Pizza. Name change, however, same great owners, same great Pizza by the slice. As far as great cheap pizza by the slice is concerned, this is actually as good as it gets. They're open late for when you have to catch a late bus. Even though there is a price mark, that just comes with the territory with the economy and the cost of things going high. It is still a decent price for Pizza none the less. read more

Usually if you saw a deal "2 Slices and a Pop for $4.50" from a place called "Super Great Pizza" you wouldn't exactly welcome it with open arms. Me and my friends however were hooked on it! You think that would make these guys step their game up but that isn't the case. Their pizza has gone way down hill. It isn't even as good as the fresh pizza place near by. This place hand down has the best pizza in Metro Vancouver. Located beside Joyce skytrain station it is easy to get to. They always have 5 or more types of pizza slices available and always fresh. The down side is the line up. It almost is always out the door. But that's why the pizza is always fresh. A new pizza comes out of the oven every few minutes. Price is right to. The pizzas have generous amounts of cheese and are 2.00 each or cheaper with more slices. The staff are not friendly. Not jerks either but your never going to strike up a conversation. But considering how busy they always are it shouldn't be a shocker. Highly recommend. I spend 30 min on skytrain from Surrey to eat here. read more

This pizza is the most disgusting pizza that I have ever had. flavorless and bland. My wife and i bought a large and had 1 slice each and threw the rest away. What a waste of $20.00. They should re-name this place to SUPER GROSS PIZZA. If anyone wants super great pizza, check out Steveston Pizza in Steveston Village. That is the absolute best pizza you will ever eat. I will never go back to Super Great Pizza ever. I will say that they had great customer service and they were super friendly, their food just sucks really bad. read more

This used to be my favourite pizza place since it was so cheap and the slices were huge. I'd come here almost everyday, but recently they raised the price and when I bought 2 slices of Vancouver style pizza, there were barely any toppings and the dough was thin and soggy. Also it's quite a busy small establishment and there's rarely any tables or chairs. I don't think I'll visit that frequently anymore since their price now is almost the same as the fresh slice that's a 2 minute walk away lmao read more

I've been to the so called best pizza restaurant in Vancouver otherwise known as Nicli Antica and although they use the finest ingredients which ends up costing 4-6x more all I was thinking about was ditching that place to get me some super great pizza. This place has the secret of the dough down to a perfection that even the most up-scale pizza joint in van can't compare to. After living next to this place for a while, I found myself going back here for convenience more and more often. I previously gave it 3 stars but now I sort of "get it". The portions are pretty filling, you can be pretty satisfied for $5, and best of all there's always some freshly baked choices since they are constantly busy. as a vegetarian they always have 3 or 4 veg options too which is more than I can say for a lot of other pizza by the slice places. read more

The value proposition is really "super great". The pizza is a little thick, for people who like it. The staff are working so furiously that they can hardly look up, but they do smile and interact with the customers. If only it were larger, then I wouldn't mind spending 20 or 30 minutes there. It is definitely a place suited for take out. The pizza is actually very hearty and delicious. I go in for two slices whenever I am in the neighbourhood and give them a 25% tip because they should be charging more (but strangely don't). read more
