A few months ago we decided to change our gas cooktop to an electric induction cooktop. The problem is our kitchen doesn't have the required electrical circuit (30A, 240V) for the induction cooktop. Wonho (Super Power Electric) was a referral by another friend in Irvine who had an outlet installed and highly recommended his service. Reaching out to make an appointment was easy, and he arrived exactly on time (actually, I was late returning home and he ended up waiting an extra 10 minutes for me...) and I was able to do a walkthrough of my electrical issues. After discussing my options, I decided to only replace an older junction box that had too many wires crammed. We scheduled another appointment and he gave me a very reasonable quote for the work that needed to be done (trim drywall, mount box, organize wires). On the day of the actual job, Wonho brought gear (respirator mask) and a cart full of his tools. He also wore shoe covers when inside the household, which was a nice and respectful detail for those who care. The job took some time and we did come across some hiccups, but ultimately he stayed longer to make sure the issues were resolved. It was partially my own fault as well, as I had installed my own smart dimmer switch and he seemed a bit surprise with how I had the wires set-up. After getting the wires organized, he re-installed my smart switch and a regular switch. The new junction box definitely seems sturdier (and much more spacious on the inside), whereas before the smart switch was bulging out of the wall plate due to the crammed wires. It was also nice that he had recorded his original quote from the first appointment so there was no random up-charge for the completed job.
