Omg! I needed a quick car wash due to the fact I had toddlers and a dog in the car. Upon pulling up to the machine an attendant was standing there with the price showing $25 for a car wash or $35 for a membership. I kept telling him I just needed the cheapest car wash, as I already have a membership elsewhere and needed a quick car wash. He continued to keep talking and trying to sell me a membership, I kept telling him I have children and pets in the car and just needed something quick. He just kept showing me the screen and wouldn't just tell me the cheapest price for a car wash. Finally, after sometime of going back and forth of not wanting a membership he showed me the lowest price which was $18, (not cheap at all). Very disgruntled! read more

Fast Pass member here. We have two passes; one for each vehicle. The cost is $19.95/mo. This seemed high to me initially, but then I considered how I'm spending $6 per week to wash one vehicle (self serve)...which is $24/mo. Well, you get my point. The benefit to me was having the option to wash more than once a week should I have to park under a tree or get attacked by bugs. The other benefit was, you guessed it, NOT DOING IT MYSELF. Now, there are downsides when comparing an auto wash to a self wash. Mainly that auto wash will leave some debris, it's inevitable. (Even with paint safe brushes. THIS IS NOT A BRUSH FREE CAR WASH.) And, while I haven't used the service, vacuums and towels to dry are available for use. The new location off the 76 is closest to my home, while this location is directly next door to The Animal Keeper--where I take my 60lb floof ball. The monthly cost applies TO ALL LOCATIONS. Now, monthly fees are *NOT* the only option. They also have pay as you go. Oh hey, and they even give you an air freshener and armor all wipe. I never take those either; though, I probably should since I'm paying for it. LOL read more

If your vehicle is damaged by their equipment they will try to avoid you and if you're persistent they will outright deny your claim!! The employee did not properly guide my car into the car wash. My car briefly came off the track and in the process scratched up the driver's side front rim. These $2100 rims were brand new (to replace the last set that I am nearly certain were damaged the same way) and were on the car for less than a week. I immediately took pictures and filed a report. It took weeks of me going in every few days trying to get an update and attempting to contact their corporate office. An employee finally called their district manager at my request who got the claims department to respond.They immediately denied my claim without asking for any additional information or checking the equipment that damaged my vehicle. read more

After how many times my grandson asked me to come to this car wash (he doesn't like going to the other one's because it is too loud). I finally took him on our Grandma & grandson day out. I had no clue what I needed to do to even get started. This place is always busy when I dry and the day of my visit was no exception. After pulling in from the main road I looked around and found a kiosk where to pay. Luckily they have an employee at the kiosk so I was able to get some guidance in what to do. I opted for the 1 month, unlimited usage, which I found to be a great deal. I gave my info which was entered into the system and was told to move forward for the next step. I was told to put my gear into neutral and onward we went through the car wash. Fancy colors covered the car and the grandchildren along with myself enjoyed the short lived, fun moment. After moving in to the drying area, I opted to drive away rather than stop and finish drying off any water left behind. There is also vacuums available. I've yet to return for a second wash. At least when I return I know exactly what I need to do and I will take advantage of drying off any drops left behind. read more

So far, so GREAT! I signed up for their unlimited wash plan a month ago. "We don't have a Soapy Joe's near us, so this one would have to do.", I thought to myself. Well, I love it! Besides the 'disco' express wash (the colors and lights make it so fun), they have strong vacuums, microfiber towels (folded), high pressure air hoses as well as free air for your tires. Every vacuum I've used has been super strong - you gotta be careful, it'll pull up anything in it's path! But I'm addicted! Love that they work so well. There's also a cool car mat machine that cleans one mat at a time when you roll them through. Kinda cool. Convenience: I can always find an open stall - which I would have to wait for at the other place, and the employees I've come in contact with are really helpful. How It Works: There are no stickers to put on your car to enter the wash. It reads your license plate automatically, so as you pull up, the gate will open and you're on your way. I love this! If you don't have the monthly plan, you can download the app and after signing up, you pull up the barcode it gives you and the machine scans it whenever you need a wash. This way you can earn free washes plus add-ons/upgrades. This is another cool feature if you don't go all the time to justify buying the unlimited plan. Love, love, love this place! read more

I read Tucker's review of this chain years ago, but I wasn't inclined towards a car wash subscription until recently, as I now have a new car that I'd like to maintain the beauty of. In chatting with coworkers, I settled on the basic wash package. However; when I mentioned to a friend that I started coming, he sent me before + after pics of his ride with the ceramic wash and I beelined back to upgrade. I cannot get over how shiny my car is after the ceramic wash! It's a huge, noticeable difference even at night and after the morning dew. Just, wow!! And like Tucker's experience, people who work here are incredibly helpful and friendly. The whole process is easy, quick, and there's even parking spots to do little vacuum jobs and whatnot at. Though the vacuums aren't the greatest (dare I say, that they suck, in more ways than one). Overall, I am very pleased with my decision to do business here. I don't recommend this location as the design is horrible. Cars jam up at the end of the tunnel and there is nothing you can do to stop from moving forward. I've had too many close calls and an actual hit once, fortunately my license plate took all the impact. But I'm not willing to risk it again. Good alternative to Soapy Joes! Soapy joes with its long lines and shitty washers... so overused. Luckily super star car wash opened up. Now I don't have to drive to Oceanside. The bristles are still new so it's working for now. The free car wash is if you buy some car washes. It's not really just free. And it's limited to 2 car washes a day. Who in the right mind would waste their time going more than 2 times a day and then complain that it isn't really unlimited? One is enough. I must say though, their car freshener stinks. Over a month ago (2/22) we took my suv to get washed at this location, as we are monthly members. During the wash, my car completely stopped, causing my vehicle to be hit and the vehicle behind it to be hit as well. The manager came out, took a report, and snapped pictures, stating that the police would be in contact. I still haven't heard from anyone. I tried reaching out 2 weeks ago and was directed to the website, where I contacted customer service through their portal. I received an automated email directing me to another site, but still no response. I'm very disappointed with how this is being handled and unhappy with the customer service provided. They don't use high pressure sales tactics to get you to sign up for more than you want. They really just want to make sure you get the best deal for what you need and the wash process and options are just excellent. The hand towels for drying are very high end and just the right dampness to get your car detailed without streaks. The vacuum air brush and hoses are perfect and in a very small amount of time, you get a super job done on your car. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ashley was my helper the last time I went through the gates. First they get you through the door saying $15 unlimited car washes (turns out it is for the first month), but whatever $30/month for unlimited is the going rate. I came here with my second car that doesn't have unlimited and ended up getting my side view mirror knocked off in the tunnel. The manager on site was professional, had some forms on letterhead, acted like he had done it 100 times before. Told me a General Manager would reach out to me in a few days and to have a quote ready for how much it will cost to get the window fixed. After about 6 weeks, multiple calls and emails with their main office in Arizona, I finally received a call from a General Manager who told me based upon pictures my car had existing damage which made the side view mirror break which he was able to tell by looking at pictures in Arizona. Come here at your own risk because if something breaks, they will not reimburse you for it. TL:DR They give you an intro price to get you into the monthly then if something breaks they won't fix it. read more

so I've been a monthly subscription holder for years, but I am going to cancel because it's just gone downhill so much in the last year or so. The first year or two they were open, you could expect friendly attendants, vacuums that suck air that blew, and dry, folded towels. Now I'm lucky if I get just one of those on any day. The towels are the worst! I am pretty sure they don't even bother to put them in a dryer, and forget about them being folded neatly. You can't even tell the difference between the clean towel bin and the dirty towel bin, the towels look exactly the same. Don't bother washing your car in the evening, the wet towels will only smear the water spots around on your car. I had to dry my car with paper towels I happened to have on hand because you can dry with wet towels. Additionally, there is a particularly surly and smart ass guy working there that just makes the entire experience even worse. For what they charge monthly, clean, dry towels and working equipment should be standard. read more

There was nothing that myself or the other gentleman could do because we were in the car wash cycle! after we got out of the car wash we both talked and went to see the employees working at superstar car wash. They were both complete idiots and basically told us that we should exchange insurance companies just in case even though it was their machine that's at fault Both of us follow directions as per the employees at superstar car wash and this is what happens! months later we get an email stating that it's our fault and to contact the other driver I cannot get anybody from superstar car wash to call me back. I have emailed multiple times and there's no phone numbers to be reached. This company will damage your vehicle and won't pay for it to be fixed. Stay away from superstar car wash. They suck. Got the basic wash for free with the grand opening. The wash was not bad but it took off the roof top rack on my car. I realize with my 4Runner, it is a bigger SUV but the car wash shouldn't be this rough to take something like this off. Strange to see some other reviews had the same problem. I've had several occurrences of damage to my vehicle. One time it ripped off my rear wiper arm. They said that wasn't covered by anything. Frequent horizontal scratches along the side. And now several large gouges in the front of my hood that is protected by 3m paint protection. I know it was done there, because I would've have noticed it before the car wash. Then without driving the car anywhere except home from the car wash, the next day it had big deep gouges in the front of the hood. I cancelled my service. read more

This was my first visit here. I was politely greeted by an attendant who reviewed the options. He also explained that this car wash is sometimes unattended. I chose the $14 car wash which included everything but the hot wax. Overall the wash was quite good, removing mud from caused by our trek to the Torrey Pines Gliderport. As with most drive through car washes, there was some residual water left on the vehicle after the air dry. Their website says that they provide free vacuums, towels and air, though I was tight on time and unable to verify this. I'd be happy to return here. read more

This location is convenient for me and I really like that there are so many spots to vacuum and dry your car. The other car wash is way smaller- so stressful! Beware of fraud!! These guys signed my credit card up for a membership that I never consented to. Found out three months later after my card had already been charged $36/month. Looks like Im not the only one who experienced this. What's more is that when you go to cancel the membership, they have a disclaimer saying that it needs to be cancelled 7 days in advance in order to avoid additional charges. Thats absolutely ridiculous and the first time I've ever heard of a system like that in my 34 years of life. read more
