At 2 am when my husband is craving a sub sandwich we go here. It reminds us of the sub place in Lockport...well the food anyhow...and that's what we love. the turkey sub was awesome...the fries are good and the guy working the counter and grill was super nice and efficient. I really wanted to like this place, as it's right by my apartment, affordable, and they deliver. I got a sub with ham and turkey, expecting it to be at least somewhat "Super"... The bread was decent, but beyond that it was simply not good. The meat was the lowest quality; I truly regretted laying my eyes on it. No way could I finish it. Fries were edible but unimpressive, standard frozen from a bag. I'm not picky about decor but it should have tipped me off, with missing floor tiles and a faded, illegible display menu. The worst part, though, was the overpowering smell of ammonia! I ordered to go and practically ran out the door. Please guys, clean with bleach or something that doesn't invade my nostrils and clothes for hours after leaving the place. This place is amazing. Not only is the customer service spot on, but the food is great too. Not to mention the price is unbeatable. My boyfriend and I recently moved in across the street and after only a few times in asking for Mountain Dew they actually bought it for us to sell in the store. We love this place and will forever make it our number one choice to eat at for a quick bite (or not so quick, we just love this place) it's so family friendly and I hope it stays around for years to come!!! I must say, Super Sub is Super amazing. The Food there is to Die for. The place isn't the best looking, But besides the looks you will enjoy the food. My friends and i all ordered something different off the Menu, And the cook had no problem making our food at like 2:30am after a night of Drinking and Partying. As far as the food I had a turkey sub, I was starved figured it was a safe bet. It was dripping with oil and I could taste nothing but bead. This place would get zero stars if I were able to put that. First the man taking the order made me repeat my address and phone number 4 times and then an hour later I called to find out where my food was. The delivery driver called us back 10 minutes later saying he was at our place, when clearly he was not. I asked him where he was and he was on a completely different street. The guy who answered the phone wrote down Fulton and we said Fullerton. After another 15minutes of waiting we got our food. It was freezing, missing a soda and missing a side of cheese. When I called to complain the man told me to place another order and he will deliver it to me half off tomorrow. What kind of service is that? I will never eat here again. Besides all of the problems we had, when we did taste the food...the burger was terrible (I am 100% honest when I say I have NO CLUE what kind of meat they use) and the chicken nuggets were disgusting. Our business has ordered from this place 4 times. The first time our food was amazing, the second time they messed our order up and we had a hard time getting them to redeliver the correct order. The third time they tried to charge us extra money on food we already knew the price to; they stated the prices change but sent us menus with the old prices that matched the menu we had. This fourth time which is our last time we ordered yet again a big order (given that after the first order we had nothing but problems since but still gave them our business) they sent us some fish (Whitining) that was fried so hard that it was not eatable. We called and spoke with Balle (not sure of the spelling of his name),. He was so obnoxious and did more arguing than trying to listen to resolve the matter. He stated and I quote "You people always complain next time don't order from me." You people is what made all of us upset because not only are we paying customers but as a business person you would have thought he wanted to keep the business we were giving him. He stated that he ran out of fish and gave us an extra piece. When ordering, I wasn't told that he didn't have more fish the lady took the order just like his business took our money. I handed the phone to another coworker because I could not deal with Balle yelling in my ear so he hung up, we called back, they picked up and hung up without saying hello, we called back again same thing they hung up. We called again and my co-worker asked to speak to the manager they informed us that the manager was not there and we need to call back she then asked who was on the phone yelling IT WAS BALLE, he used the same tone and language with her saying you people. She explained to him that our order was wrong and he need to fix it and he also need to stop saying you people she reiterated that we are the ones that give him business and he then apologize. Because he is not aware of who is ordering from him (we are a diversed group of women), the racism that he exhibited; I feel that this place doesn't deserve anyone's business. BEWARE THAT THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE LAST PIECE OF MEAT THEY HAVE STOCKED AND YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. This place deserves a -0 for service, presentation and the biggest is COMMUNICATION. Ordered a bunch of subs before leaving around 5 or 6 PM on New Years Eve. Delivery took forever, 1.5 to 2 hours. After a while we called to ask about delivery and were told the guy left a long time ago and should be close. When the delivery guy finally showed up, he didn't say anything about being late or apologize at all. The food was obviously room temperature by then. They have good options for vegetarians including a delicious egg and cheese breakfast sandwich which I was temporarily addicted to. Their onion rings are vegan. This place is exactly what it looks like, a mom and pop fast food counter. They do a pretty good job and the prices are unbelievably cheap. I eat here more than I would like to admit since it's the closest non taco spot near my place of employment. I would give high marks to the Gyro Burger and the chicken "burger"...
