I saw the sign on their window for empanadas and ordered. It was very crispy and the beef filling had corn which i actually really liked. It was big and $3. It was my first time inside the place and they have seating in the next door over they connected two units, when i went it was very smoky inside and stained my jacket with the smell. I found Super Taco had a Mamey milkshake and I decided to pair this with some Chicken Nachos. I was really in the mood for Mamey ice cream. It was a bad craving so I went in search of anywhere that would be able to provide me with that flavor. The chicken nachos were just ok think it had too much queso and sour cream and the chicken pieces could've been a bit larger. The avocado had black spots as well. the milkshake was just alright. Not going to lie, I was very hesitant about purchasing anything from here just because of the yelp photos and ratings. This restaurant is located at the corner across from the N train so it was easy for me to pick it up. They have their chairs up because there's no dining inside. I ordered a mole burrito with chicken and a chorizo burrito. Both are $10. I didn't like how their chorizo tasted like spicy pound beef or sloppy joe- that's how chopped up it tasted. It was also super salty to me. With that being said, I definitely enjoyed the mole burrito more than the chorizo burrito. I was craving mole but I wanted to choose the most budget-friendly and convenient option in my neighborhood. I do want to make a note that the burritos had a LOT of juice AND GREASE around the packaging. It makes it very messy to eat. Okay so this was a tough one. I wanted to give it a 3 but then I had to consider the fact that my other local Mexican restaurant closed earlier because of the snow. I passed a Mexican taco truck and they had a dish called sopes con carne. I'm very hesitant on ordering food on trucks. I was seriously craving Mexican food as i have not had it in years. So i searched Grubhub and found this little place called Super Taco. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait till I have to order it again. My son is not adventurous like his daddy and he stuck with the cheeseburger. I asked him how he liked it and said it was very tasty. I also ordered 3 pollo tacos (soft shell) and I accidentally ordered a Pollo Asado Burrito. I did not pig out and eat all 3 dishes in one sitting, lol. I took to work and shared the burrito with my older son. Overall this will be my go to place for Mexican cuisine. Price is good, imo and they didn't even charge extra for the cheeseburger deluxe. This place was such a disappointment! My wife wanted to try it for a while and when she finally decided to try it she only ordered a chicken salad to begin with they took forever to make it and the chicken smelled and tasted like fish from bad seasoning to possibly dirty grill , placed looked dirty and unorganized inside the salad wasn't even tasty the only cut a green lime In 1/2 and the have any type of dressings or anything the salad had huge badly cut pieces of white onion ,radish , cucumber, and plum tomatoes. Very good first experience. I ordered a cemita with carne, elotes and a cheeseburger deluxe... to place it safe in case the cemita wasn't good. There's nothing worse than ordering from a new place and not being pleased but pleased I was! The cemita bread was fresh even though I ordered late (7:30pm), it was filled with fresh lettuce, onion, tomato, jalapeños and Mexican queso blanco. The elote was ok.. wasn't very juicy but satisfactory. & just because the cheeseburger looked so good I saved half my cemita, and gave that a go. (Summers over anyway) The cheese burger was made with fresh meat, not frozen patty and wow it was great! Side perks I asked for extra sour cream because I am a sour cream freak & they gave me a coffee cup worth perfect! & extra napkins was also a huge plus for me. Came here for the first time & ordered 3 steak quesadillas & guac + chips. It's a family owned business located right across the street from the kings highway n train station. For $9/ quesadilla the portion size was huge! Love their green sauce, will definitely be back for more. I was in the mood for Mexican food and stumbled upon this place while searching through Seamless. The delivery guy came quick but unbeknownst to me, he called and said he doesn't know how to get to the 2nd floor of my company so I came outside. Anyway, the food was absolutely delicious and the portion size was very large. I ordered the steak with beans (no rice, extra beans). Please please don't even try it. This is not Mexican. As a Mexican from Mexico, new to Brooklyn. This place is offensive. So gross. It is NOT AUTHENTIC!!! I'm appalled that people have wrote that they loved it here. They obviously like Taco Bell. I ordered pozole and chicken mole. The smell was horrendous, i can smell from when the delivery guy dropped it off that this place was not authentic. When my go-to place for Mexican food went away, I was forced to have to find a new place to get my taco fix. I didn't have to search for long because I found this wonderful little restaurant literally around the corner! Reading other reviews about Super Taco, I ordered some tacos, steak and al pastor. Super Taco lives up to its name. They were the best tacos I've ever tasted and I've tasted many tacos from many places. The portion size was the most generous I've ever seen per taco. The fillings overflowing. Fresh ingredients, moist and flavorful! Friendly staff. It's a very small place and can be missed from the outside, but there is seating available if you plan to dine there. I look forward to sampling other items on the menu. If your looking for great, authentic Mexican food then this is a job for Super Taco! read more
