PRICE UPDATE February 22, 2025 (My last pricing was done on: February 13, 2022) Today I came to wash (and not dry) my drapes. I found the following... CHANGES: WASHERS TOP LOADERS: $3.00 - - Qty: 15 (up $1.00) FRONT LOADERS: $4.00 - - Qty.: 5 (20 lbs) (up $1.00 since 2/13/22)) $4.50 - - Qty.: 12 (30 lbs.) (up $1.25) $5.50 - - Qty.: 6 (40 lbs.) (up $1.00) $6.50 - - Qty.: 4 (60 lbs.) (up $1.00) $9.00- $9.50 - - Qty.: 1 (80 lbs.) (up $1.75-$200) DRYERS 25 cents per 10 minutes This was the same as the price I encountered in 2022. I am not sure if the ten minute timer setting has remained the same or not because my drapes stated not to dry them... a.k.a. I didn't use the dryers. DRYER SIZE: 2 loads - - Qty.: 42 NON-FUNCTIONING: None of the 20 lbs washers (5) were functional. 1 of the 60 lbs washers was out of order (motor bearing) MISSING IN ACTION: I noticed that the charging station was no longer where it used to be, so maybe that is completely gone. If so that sucks because that was an awesome thing to find at a business like this. Overall, I really didn't look around much, as my wash didn't take much time. END GAME: Despite the price increase, which really didn't seem like a lot to me since I still only come here to wash larger items, like drapes, sleeping bags and holiday/season bedding (to refresh it, prior to use and before packing it away), I would still return. read more

Got referred here by a friend and so thankful!!! Love how convenient this place is and that there's staff on site. My poor first learning laundry experience was a fail as I put my load in the dryer instead of the washer! Lenora was such a sweetheart in helping me get my quarters back, stop the machine and walk me through to the washer, then later to the dryer! NOW I know!!! First time and won't be my last! This place needs a real good improvement. The washers are out to date, very old machines and dirty from the inside I'm talking about the white ones. The paper towel dispenser was old couldn't get the paper out. Hairs all over the floor. The dryers were hard to press on the level heat preference and did NOT dry good 25cents for 8 minutes. I had to put it to dry 3 times and my clothes were still damped. First and last time I come here. read more

I've been a long time Downey resident and this laundromat is the best there is. The staff Ms. Leonor was very nice. We needed help and asked questions about how to use some of the machines and she was so helpful explaining and helping us with instructions. This place is also very clean and well equipped. Since my house is undergoing a laundry room re do, I feel fortunate to find this place. I've been doing my laundry here several weeks. When laundry attendant Leonor is here, everything is clean and she provides great customer service. However, I would recommend to the owner to re think his hire of Jose the other laundry attendant. I have witnessed in several occasions that he does the bare minimum, toys are out of place, and cleaning is needed. He usually spends his time with a group of friends and they appear to be drinking and smoking pot outside for most several hours. Leonor keeps me coming back. She should get a raise! read more

I spent so much money there to get my clothes dried, I had to walk to the bank to pull money out! I usually wash every two weeks about $20 or less for washing and drying, their dryers were not drying I spent more than $30to get everything to actually dry. I been there twice, thinking perhaps it was something I did wrong the first time, no it was worse the second time. The employee there is nice but the dryers don't dry!!!! read more

I have been a customer here for over 9 years. I usually go during the day when Anita is there because I adore her, but I haven't been able to go during the morning only the afternoons or the weekend. Well on Saturday I decided to go and long behold I walk in to the guy employee just yelling and screaming and cussing and calling the little lady (I always see her literally on top the big washers scrubbing them clean so she works there also) another employee out of her name and b$&@# He was calling her lazy, and the funny thing is, is I always see her and Anita cleaning their butts off and that's why I come here because of it being so clean and the owner is so nice, but that Saturday it was busy The whole store was full of customers. That was so uncomfortable I walked out and went back yesterday to wash during the afternoon. I honestly don't feel that was very professional and was uncalled for. Talk about A1 service!!! I'm staying at the local hotel that doesn't have a laudromat and really needed to wash my clothes. When I walked in the place was clean and smelled good. also the nicest lady works here who helped me with getting coins and detergent for my clothes. I'm 6'6" and I have big clothes and they had this massive washer that able to wash a week's worth of my clothes in one wash and it definitely saved me money and ran smooth. Been coming to this laundromat for years and the past few weeks the attendant Leonor has been so petty and rude. when I got here this big washer was in use and as soon as she saw I was gona wait for it to finish she taped it up,then another customer walks in and she tells her you wana use the big machine I'll remove the tape so u can be the last customer to use it for today(my mom then asked her what was wrong with since we were waiting for it to finish to use next before she decided to tape it and she very rude told her it's full (Funny how it wasn't full for the other customer but it is for us ) It's so annoying. read more

Came in to wash a few bags of clothes today. It's been a while since I've been here and I got to tell you I've never been to a laundromat where someone made me feel welcomed. I met a lady named Lenore that works there. She helped me from the moment I walked in to the woman I left some. I was a little lost because I was using the biggest machine that's there which I found that was new. She was extremely helpful. I can tell she takes pride in her work, because the place looked spotless. She also gave me a complementary baggie for my coins by checking in on Yelp. If for some reason, someone is not available and the place is looking dirty, the machines not working or they are transient just hanging around , call the number (562)400-4815 and they will take care of it. I come to this laundromat every week this morning, was the worst experience . Dryer are now $0.25 for 5 minutes, freeking dryers have not even started to heat when they turn off. We long story short I will never return here again, you have list an extremely loyal customer. I spent about $14.00 dollars to wash and $12.75 to dry two loads!!!!!!!! What the he'll! Never returning here again. Beware, they keep temperature on dryers very low, even if you select high temperature that's so that you can keep putting quarters in dryer. Oh and no one there to complain to. So you're screwed. read more

Perks of this place, it's open late, close to my place, the guy attendant was helpful and hasn't been that busy when I've been here.... Cons about this place; machines are old, the washing machines that are next to the white washers do not wring out clothes well and a sock or small garment may be stuck in between the edges of the door, so check there before you empty the washer.... The dryers: be careful witch dryer you use, some of them have the surfaces of the i side lifted probably due to people leaving sharp objects in their clothes, so it may damage your clothes.... Over all this place is convenient to wash clothes. read more

First time coming here. It's in a small shopping center, with limited parking but there's plenty of street parking. Love the clean atmosphere and the outside seating A+! I'm such a fan of clean and well lit laundromats, you have no idea. My mom likes going to this disgusting one(another Laundromat) and I told her that if I have to wash with her, we needed to do better. So I of course, jumped on yelp and found this place. As we pulled into the parking lot I knew I was going to like it. This place is always clean and well lit. It opens at 5am and that's always a plus for people like my mom and I. The washers clean the clothes well and I feel like the dryers do a good job as well. My mom on the other hand, thinks the dryers should be hotter. (She is hard to please) We usually go on the weekends and it gets packed a little before 8am. There is also free WIFI! yes. I've never been to a laundromat that has WIFI before, so that's another reason why I come back. I can watch a movie and I don't have to worry about using my data. read more

If I could give this establishment 10 stars I would! There are many things that bring me to this particular laundry mat, here are a couple of the reasons: 1) There are PLENTY of washers and dryers, and even a couple different types of washers to choose from. 2) It is roomy and ALWAYS very clean. 3) There are a couple of TVs to keep you entertained. 4) BUT, the hospitality and kindness from the woman who works here, Leonor, is the main reason. She is amazing! Not only is she happy to help if you have a question, but she is ALWAYS cleaning, on-the-go, and taking care of this facility. I've been coming here for years and this was the first time I've ever had a problem. This man was harassing me for no reason. I had just put my clothes in the dryer and went back to sit in my car. He must live in the apartment next door because he came out of the gate and started walking around my car then to the street then back by my car and then back to the street. All the while looking at me. Then he came up to my car and knocked hard on my car door and said to roll down the window. Which I did not. He kept asking repeatedly if I washing here. I said yes. Finally he walked back to his gate. I didn't see him for about 10 minutes then again he started leaning over the fence smoking a cigarette just looking at me/my car. I called my friend to come and watch over while I run in and get my clothes. I didn't even fold them. I just shoved them in the bag. Right before my friend came he came out of the fence looked at me and walked in the laundromat. Then he can put and sat outside. He was saying something to the lady that worked there then she came out to my car and asked if I was washing. I said yes. She was speaking Spanish so I'm not exactly sure what she said but something like my clothes were done. Which yes by that time they had been done drying for about 3 minutes. I told her I know but that man was making me uncomfortable and I was waiting for my friend. Which my friend came and parked next time at that time. I didn't not feel safe there at all. There was no need for any of this. I tried calling the owner but no answer. This was unacceptable. Be safe out here. read more
