I've been forgetting to post this, but I want everyone to know that this is a GREAT place to get your granite. I've worked with SEAD on two projects and in both properties, the granite is the centerpiece of conversation by visitors. They are patient, their prices are extremely competitive, their installation is swift, and their selection is admirable. I made a mistake with one of my measurements and they came out and helped me correct it with no questions asked. I will say that my seal on my sink has come apart, but I'm sure if I call, they will come out and address it. I'm not paid or incentivized to say good things. This is the truth. After paying this firm a hefty $10k+, we found our custom-made cabinets ruined. Note: before the installation, we did have them come over for on-site inspection and measurements. Our designer complained to the principal Gary, and asked for a fix. Gary sounded like this is usual practice for them. Here is a copy paste of his email: "the blocking set in place to secure the sinks ( the size of sink / cabinet size did not allow space for the standard clips) This is all concealed to the underside of the countertops and we have done them in this fashion for the same reasons. They are not visible much like the underside of an "unfinished sink bowl" Is there something else that is preferred?? The blocking we use allows the sinks to be removed if ever needed and if we put the brackets on before setting tops the cabinets would have to be notched and the top removed completely to remove the sink. Superb Surface is currently the company installing for IKEA countertop. We are getting bathroom remodeling done. While the measurement guy Sergio was on time and really skillful, our experience with Gina, the installer (name unknown), and the office has been subpar so far. Their installer came and dismantled one of our faucet without informing us or asking us if the water main is shut off, and this caused a flood, and he couldn't put it back together so left it there. He never asked whether the water was shut before messing with our faucet! As a result, our newly installed faucet broke, we had to get additional plumbing and the wall/trim redone and painted because of flood damage. What's more aggregating was that Gina from the office suddenly charged us for disposal of an old countertop, but it was still in our garage not disposed. Also no one and nowhere in our contract said that the old countertop needed to be taken out or that there would be a charge. Even when their measurement guy came over the first time, he didn't say anything. So this charge sprung on us. What's even more shady is that they want Zelle payment, or there would be a upcharge. They asked incessantly via email, without addressing any of the damage they had done to our house. We were charged for something we never were informed on and the "disposal" was not even actually done! This is crazy. They break our plumbing and newly done bathroom, which is super costly already, and charged us something we were not even informed about and the said service is not even done fully. This has been a terrible experience for us. Their customer service was also rude and seem confused the whole time. I would NOT recommend this service provider. read more

As Lowes subcontractors, I was very unhappy with the installation. The counters were bouncing and majorly not level, creating an eyesore. After complaining, they returned and completed the work. But it was on me to continue pointing out poor installation areas. Both times, they would've been satisfied with shoddy work. If my cabinets were not level, inform me and don't just leave me with an eyesore. I do not feel they exercise pride in their work. read more

After receiving one prior estimate, I decided to go with De Paula for the new granite in my bathrooms and kitchen. They did an excellent job removing my old countertops (which were extra heavy) and I was really impressed with their overall customer service. Sead, my primary contact is very knowledgable, professional, and patient. Today I went to their huge warehouse to select my granite. Based on prior conversations with Sead, I expected the price we discussed was final. Unfortunately, I ran into two issues...one minor and one major. First, there were two sink options - one square and one oval. I always indicated that I wanted the square sinks, but today suddenly the square sinks were $10 more each...an extra $40 in my case. You would think that since I was already paying $3400 that they would simply give me the sinks as a courtesy since they didn't tell me square sinks were extra - but nope, they didn't make that accommodation. Fine. It's just $40, right? So then the second issue arose. Sead previously asked if I wanted the 4inch backsplash that you often see in bathrooms and kitchens. Well, I decided I only needed backsplash for the kitchen-but assumed it was already included in the $3400 whether I selected it or not (since other companies charge by the square foot, but this company just gave a flat fee). So Sead says the backsplash was an extra $340! What?! Now I'm spending almost $400 more ($340 for the backsplash and $40 for the sinks) for what I thought was a done deal! I decided I should get a couple of additional quotes at this point and Rosalie, the owner, informs me that if I decide to go with another company, they will charge me a restocking fee and other fees! What?! I put $1720 down, clearly with intent to buy my granite from them. However, I don't like extra last-minute fees...especially not $400 worth! So the verdict is still out on this one since I'm still in the process...but I will send an update later. Final Update I have changed their rating to a five. Customer service kicked in and we resolved all issues in a timely fashion. They even returned to remove a countertop that I didn't like the cut...recut the piece and reinstalled in a matter of days. The countertops are gorgeous and all for well under the price you might pay with other vendors. I can confidently recommend them without reservation. read more

We had a friend recommend us here for countertops. We looked a few other places and found cheaper prices but those places didn't come with knowledge. Michele was personable, fun and knowledgeable. She heped us find "the one".. No lie, my husband fell in love with perfect slab. She took us looking nd explained to us not to settle. The installers were nice and got the job done. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Ordered counters through home depot which uses this company. It has been 6 weeks and still no counters. So dissapointed. Told me they would call today and if they didnt that I should call before 5. Well it is 4:15 so I call, and they are closed. DONT ORDER FROM HERE slow and act like they dont know what's going on. I bought my counter tops through Lowes 6 and 1/2 weeks ago and still do not have my counter tops!I was scheduled for next week but got a call today putting it off for another week. if I would have been told it would have taken this long I would have bought elsewhere. I just had a countertop install by Superb surfaces and design the actual work was nice but the company has a lot of hidden charges that they never told me until the actual installation, first they told me the day before installation that I had to pay extra for tear down old countertop when through out all my conversations I always asked if it was included and always said yes it was but when they call me to confirm time I asked again and that's when I was told I had to pay extra, then day of installation I remind the installer to install sink they said they were not told to do that, I called company and again another hidden charge, they said they are not certified to do the sink so my question why didn't they tell me that in the first place instead they wait until I have no choice to accept so they have a lot of hidden charges that they won't tell you until the last minute and you have no other choice, horrible experience with this company they trick you to force you to do the job and hit you for more money at the end, I don't mind paying for those extra charges as long as I'm told about it up front and not hide it until the end, I would never recommend this company to my worse enemy, beware of all hidden charges you have been worn read more

I don't even know where to start! The sales lady Michele Valentino-Skezas - is beyond a sales lady!!!! She is so knowledgeable about all the products and goes way above and beyond her job!!!! She was there with us through the whole process from start to finish!!! I could call her at any moment and she was there to answer any questions that I had !( Even when she was at Bingo with her mom!) Superb was hired by Lowes to replace my countertops. Where the problem started was not their fault, but I ended up with the worst service ever. When the original countertop was to be installed Lowes provided them with the incorrect sink. This was an under mount. Since there was a problem, they could not finish the 1st time there. When they workers called the home office while at my house to figure out how to leave the situation so I the customer was happy for now, it was terrible. The person on the other end of the phone at the home office telling them they need to leave and get on their way. They can not just stand there while someone else is figuring the problem out. So, they placed the countertop in a useable fashion. When they left, they took my sink that was in my old countertop. I called right away and asked them to bring it back when they came to do the repair. I was told no problem. A week later once the problem at Lowes was resolved they came back and took the countertop with them to fix and install the proper sink. While at Superb someone figured out that the 2 pieces of stone at my house were not going to match the new piece being cut so they cut all 3 to replace. When they came back the 3rd time to install, they brought in 2 new piece and did an excellent job on the seam to not show. When they were leaving, and I was admiring I notice the 3rd piece of countertop was not the same color. I ran back out to their truck and asked them to return inside. I pointed out what I was seeing, and he said he could not tell but would fix? I was thinking how can you fix the color? He went back out got his tools and brings in a 3rd piece of countertop already cut to be installed that matched the others? Why would he just not of installed it when he had it instead of trying to leave? My appointment was between 2-4 on a Friday and they came at 4pm and it was now 6pm. What to late on a Friday night? He installed the small 3rd section so it all matched and left. About an hour later friends stopped by only to notice that the 3rd piece was not even sitting on the cupboard straight! It was fastened down crooked with the cupboard showing from atop! Then to top it off they only fastened down the large 2-piece section with silicone. Also, they brought back a sink that was not my old sink it was damaged and mine was like new. So, I did not have them leave it I called back and talked to Rose again about my property. She now was telling me that they threw my sink away and they do not have it. I asked how this was when I called right away and was assured not a problem? She was just rude, and I had enough already. What a mess. So, I had to call Lowes to get it straightened out and Superb would not come back to fix their workmanship for 2 complete weeks. When they did show up, I had someone watch everything they did to make sure it was right this time. Let us not forget they tried to bring a 2nd sink back to me that was even worse than the 1st. It was like a joke to them. I feel like they tried to fool me by not installing what was cut for me and taking my property. Then not to mention the workmanship and how they made me wait to make it right. They did not even leave the warranty or care instructs for what I purchased. I had to call Lowes to get that information for me also. I am sure Lowes paid them to fix the cutting mistake and 2 different countertops to make sure color matched. I hope my experience with them will make you think twice about using this business. read more

I got granite installed in my kitchen..these guys came in with the lowest quote..great level of service overall..Carolina and Sead were great to work with...Sead even provided valuable inputs to help us choose between different designs..the job started on time, they even accommodated my request to start the job after a specific time to accommodate my son's sleep schedule :)..installer guys were very courteous..there was a minor hiccup though as we ended up with a small gap between the wall the countertop but that was quickly fixed the very next day..very pleased with the service...it seems as if they are really committed to providing the best service at the best price.highly recommended!! read more
