I came to Supercuts in the Village today for a haircut for my preteen daughter. My daughter has long hair, that is a combination of straight on top, with slight waves underneath. While we simply needed what seemed like a basic trim, her combo hair texture tends to make haircuts a bit tricky. But not today, and not for our stylist, Rhia! Rhia did an AMAZING job on my daughter's hair! She was very friendly, patient in listening to our requests and precise in cutting my daughter's hair! We highly recommend Rhia! :) read more

Worst place ever... Took my son for a trim, and in a blink of an eye it was gone shopped off. He had been letting it grow and from having it to his shoulders we walked out with almost a military cut, where she got the idea to cut it all off is beyond me since we showed her a picture but I guess lesson learned never will we step in there again. read more

This was a complete disaster... I had shoulder length hair and had been wanting to get it trimmed down to something just past my ears. No shorter because I have a round face since I'm a little pudgy and I need something to frame it and hide that roundness, you know? I came in ready with a picture of what I wanted, she seemed to like the cut and she got down to it. She literally cut off all my hair and left me with something like a pixie cut. I don't know where she got the idea that I wanted a 'cutesy' haircut like that, not to mention it looked awful on me. She cheerfully admitted to taking some liberties with the cut without my consent. Seriously? Me, being too polite and not wanting to make a scene, just kind of smiled and nodded while being absolutely LIVID on the inside. My mother actually started crying when we went back to the car. I don't blame her. I can't even look at myself in the mirror without cringing and desperately tugging at my hair hoping to salvage it somehow. I'm now stuck wearing a beanie until it grows out again. I will never step into that place again. read more

I would recommend having your hair done by Julie or Amanda at this location. I have been going to this location periodically since it opened, and have ALWAYS had great haircuts and color. Having been a Supercuts cuts customer for over ten years, I would advice people to call ahead; or download the Supercuts app onto your phone to get a more accurate wait time. read more

I have know India from over a year now, and have always enjoyed getting a hair cut by her. She always professional and has the best attitude as a stylist. I have been stood up 6 times! No more...this is the worst Supercuts. I have been loyal to this location but stylist is not reliable. I am done with this location. Don't bother making appointments because it does not matter. They don't call you to tell you stylist is "sick". You show up and have to leave. I am done wasting my time getting there. read more

After today, I will NEVER come back to this particular Supercuts. Let preface by saying that I have used Supercuts my whole life, love the company and the service (99% of the time), and plan to use them in the future. I've had my hair cut twice at this location, the first cut was good, the second was so-so, and the third...never happened. I called at 11:30 to check appointment availability between 12:15 and 12:30 pm. The associate who answered the phone simply told me to "come on in" because they were "very quiet." Since she did not confirm a time for the appointment, I asked to confirm what the appointment time was, and she, again, reiterated that they were "very quiet" and that either time would be perfectly acceptable. I arrived at 12:21 pm, only to find that the one (1) staff member that was working (whom I had spoken with on the phone earlier) had just accepted a walk-in customer only moments before. The poor customer even offered to give up her chair for me, (wet hair and all) so that I might be able to make my appointment before work. This may have been a one-off error for this location, but when a customer makes an appointment, it needs to be upheld. Period. This was the only time off during my entire work week that I had the chance to get a haircut, and thanks to this particular location, It'll be one extra week. If I had to sum this location up: rude, understaffed, and overall unprofessional. I truly think Supercuts is a fantastic company offering a great service for the price, but I highly recommend trying one of their other great locations in the area first. read more

I'm really not one to get my hair done just because I am always worried it's not going to turn out how I like it. But there was no problems here. I got my hair bleached and I'm so glad I did it. Everyone is very nice and professional and are just looking to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Highly recommend coming here over expensive salons. read more

I walked into this shop yesterday to see what it would cost to layer my mid-length hair and Lisa gave me the information and asked if I wanted to do it today and within 5 minutes I was having my hair layered the way I wanted it done. Lisa was wonderful, the shop is clean (brand new) and having her check with me how "I" wanted my hair done was the best.. Dr. location and was fortunate enough to get Jay almost immediately. I was an out-of-towner in desperate search of a local hairstylist that could salvage the mess my hair had become! I am so glad I found Rinali Hill at Supercuts as she gave me a total transformation with conditioning, highlights, cut, & style for a terrific price- - much less than I have been paying and at my local Fantastic Sams & couldn't have done a more outstanding job. 1st I don't like the layout. The stations are right in front of the sitting/waiting area, so you have to sit there 3' away feeling the hair drier and hair smell right in your face. 2nd I've been here a few times because I live a few blocks away and was hoping to make it my go to place. But, it doesn't seem like they want to work. The girls seem nice, it's just poorly run. I go someplace else now. read more

I have been to a ton of supercuts all over north county. I came to this location for the first time maybe 9 months ago. I must say this is my favorite supercuts I've ever been to. Amanda is the best. She always recognizes me and other customers that come in. She's super high energy and easy to talk to. Julie, the manager is arrogant and should be replaced as the manager. I brought in a picture which she totally ignored as well as my requests regarding cutting my hair. She told me seen the cut and knew better. I asked her not to cut the layers too short because of a cowlick. She did it anyway. She cut one side shorter than the other. She did not check the haircut. It is impossible to correct the haircut now because it is way to short. I paid for a blow dry to have my hair styled. She just blew it around with the hairdryer, and did not style it at all, commenting that I as customer would not be capable of styling my own hair the way she could if she bothered to style it. I had to go home and style it myself. Unfortunately, I gave her a 20% tip out of habit. Do not let Julie cut your hair. Someone should take the scissors away from her. I have never written a Yelp review before, but I felt the need to warn future customers. read more
