We took our two children here for their first haircuts and the lady who cut their hair did a horrible job...when their hair was still wet it looked ok but once it dried and we had washed it it looked horrible...the worst part is we had asked for a very specific cut for both our kids and she gave our daughter a very uneven all around asymmetrical bob and our son a choppy "mom" bob with long bangs , I wish we would've noticed it sooner before we went on our vacation so we could've gone back and gotten it fixed but honestly after seeing all the bad reviews I wouldn't even trust them to try to fix it read more

Went in for a haircut and had the worst experience. Tein was the stylist I worked with. I have been growing my hair longer in the back. On the sides, my hair pulls over my ears which I do not like. Asked her to just clean up the side but repeatedly told her not to cut the back. I like the length. She said she could think out the hair to make it look cleaner without cutting the length. When she was cutting, I felt something was not right so asked her to stop, she continued. She did the left side first and when she showed me in the mirror she had taken about 2" off from the length. I was devastated and still am. I just told her to even it out on the other side because I could not have it uneven. I am older so it takes me time to grow hair and I have been proud of my longer hair and my wife loves it. Now I feel so bare with my locks gone. I know it will grow back but she just never listened. 90% of the time i LOVE all ladies at Oak Forest Shopping Center. But this ONE TIME instead of selecting my favorite stylist i chose first available 1/2/2023. I got a lady named Diegra or something like that. SHE WAS TERRIBLE. was bossy. rude (rolled her eyes when i said i wanted shampoo before my cute), and then told me to not move my head while she was cutting. apparently i did it again and she had to stop and pull my head back. I got up and said "Now i have put up with enough...." She did not apologize or make amends...so i walked out! Today i went back and got my favorite person Maria. Couldn't be happier!!!! read more

The worst salon in Houston. I'm losing hair daily because she kept putting color and bleach on my hair to fix her mistakes over 5 times. This salon does not offer protection for stylists mistakes. Do not go here to get your hair styled! I came here on the morning of my birthday party and asked for simple LOOSE curls. That's it. The stylist sprayed down each section of hair with hairspray and curled it tightly with a flat iron. You could hear the hair sizzle and singe. She assured me it was fine. By then end of it (she had me faced away from the mirror during the process) I had what resembled a tight curly perm. I seriously looked like a poodle. I was near tears as I expressed to her that this was nowhere close to the loose curls I asked for. The curls were hard and crunchy and she brushed them back out and tried again. My hair took so much damage and I ended up paying the $40 and leaving upset with messed up looking hair on the day of my birthday party, I had to clip it up. Later on after washing out the hairspray, I could see how bad it was damaged in the process. My hair is thin and always has been, but used to be sleek and smooth. Now I have insane BREAKAGE all the way up to the crown. This is going to take a long long time to repair. Save your money and your hair, don't go! read more

I've never had to wait long and checking in on the mobile app makes it very easy for me since I live 30 mins away. I recommend any and everyone to go here. I would have given 0 stars but i had to give something. This place is AWFUL. I went there to get my hair cut and dyed for a birthday present. I had just had a baby and wanted to feel pretty again. I showed the girl what I wanted done and she just didn't care or something because she did something completely different. She butchered my hair and the color was off too. I have to let it grow out now. It is hideous! I started crying because I was so unhappy. I will NEVER go there again. I even completed the survey after leaving a review on Facebook and someone from the home office contacted me. She told me to call her but there was no way to contact her! The whole company is awful. Odd place. Not sure exactly what is going on here. Stylists are sitting around chatting and laughing while customers are just -- well, sitting around. Seekingly takes forever to complete this one customer, possibly an hour or so. In the mean time, i can't tell -- are they ignoring us on purpose, as in, " watch how we are blowing you off! Ha-ha!" Place used to be good. Guess all the good staff left. There is now just one main lady there, and she is rude and nasty. She rushes through your cut just to get through more customers. She told me she couldn't cut my son's hair a certain way because her fingers were too fat - what?!!! She said this after rushing through my other son's hair while being disgustingly gassy. Then she nipped him and said he was moving. I was right next to him, he wasn't moving - he has been getting his hair cut for years and knows not to move. This would have been a much higher review before last night. I've been here half a dozen times and, before last night, gotten very nice haircuts. Last night changed everything. I told Rose to trim my hair 1/2 inch. I specifically said that I was fine with coming back later for another cut if it turned out needed more. Well, Rose trimmed 1/2 inch off the bottom all right. Took my daughter to get a hair trim was charged an extra $10 for blow drying her wet hair. Was not told a simple blow dry not even a blow out would be $10 and it's ever acceptable to let a 3 year old leave with dripping wet hair. I am so irritated. Also the woman took a very long time and in the end when the hair was dry the back is uneven. I've been coming here to get my daughters hair cut and each time the hair trim was even and I was never left with my daughters hair wet out the door they always dried it. read more

I've been going to this location for five months now and have been pleasantly pleased with my experience there. The manager (Ms. Shonte) is phenomenal and very welcoming woman, she knows every customer by name and delivers haircuts that are precise. The staff at the salon are nice and welcoming and they all have fun working with one another which makes the experience that much better. I've been coming to this Supercuts for about three years now. Every time I walk in Shonte is always there. She has a smile that can light up a room and is very happy. She cuts my daughter and son hair as well as my wife and myself. She's been amazing with my children. She's been cutting my son hair since he was nine months old and she does an amazing job getting him to sit still and get his haircut. There is never a dull moment when we go there. The salon is always clean and smells very good. We received a courtesy call on Monday from one of the stylist letting us know that they were fully staffed and back to regular hours. So we decided to pay a visit. I knew she had been there quite awhile by herself but to walk in yesterday and to see all the stylist. I was very happy for her and my son was happy to see her. The minute he saw her face he yelled her name and ran over to give her a hug. She works really hard and to see her standing there happy as always and better than ever. I've read some of the comments that have been written on here and I realize that these people are crazy. SHONTE IS AMAZING!! Me and my family will never go anywhere else. read more
