Felt like I needed to update this. Came back, and the wait can still be pretty long but once you get someone they are all great.

What I like about this place is that the location is great and the staff is too. Its a very busy location, so their will be a wait. Which is okay if you have the time, cause there is a starbucks close by so you can grab yourself a nice cold ice macchiato to ease the wait pain. There is one stylist that I have learn to love, Larissia. She does an amazing job every time, I have yet to be dissatisfied. With her clippers at hand and a fierce attitude, shes always cuts my hair with a twinkle in her eye and makes sure my hair is exactly what I asked for. Ill be coming back, THANKS!! read more

New to the dallas area and didn't know it would be so hard to find a salon open on a Monday! After making quite a few calls and no one picking up or most of them being by appointment only I found this place, decided to give it a try and sooo glad I did! Aurora did an amazing job! I came in for a cut and style and she did awesome! She even recommended some awesome products to keep my blonde hair looking healthy! She took her time and really listened to what I wanted!! I'd do no stars if I could. Took over an hour to wash & blow dry my hair & my bangs look like crap! How do you not know to do those first, they dry the fastest & $44.00! Are you kidding me? I can get a great professional wash & blow out for $20 walk-in @ Glen Allan Salon in southlake! Would've gone there but closed on Sunday! They're rude as hell too when you in. Not even 1 star. I waited for more than 45 mins even after checking in online. They do not even bother to check appointments in system and give preference to their existing customers. Same happened with another lady who was sitting there for 1 hour and she left without haircut. They may be good if you are existing customer but not for NEW customers. Not only do you have to wait over 30 minutes when they say '10 minutes max' they butcher your hair too. I am a woman, and yes I should go to a 'salon' rather than super cuts but I have long hair that most salons charge extra for any service even though it isn't THICK it's just a lot. I can't afford a 50$ hair cut. So I went here. The first time I went I had a great experience and even got my hair colored. I would have used the same person but she wasn't there tonight and my hair was over due for a cut. Erika did a crap job. She didn't want to shampoo my hair and when she was shampooing she didn't even get underneath my hair because she was too lazy. I told her that the underside was completely dry and she said.. oh it's okay. I can run my hands through it. That's not the point.. I am not paying you to shampoo my hair if it's just going to be dirty. I told her 1.5 inches off the end. That's it. I ended up with closer to 3 off because she couldn't get her crap together and kept hacking away. not only this, but when I asked her to blow out my hair because my hair tends to shrink and will be uneven she blow dried the 2 pieces in the front. Seriously? I get it.. I am more work but I am still a customer. I was going to get highlights tonight too but I am soooo glad I didn't. I will NEVER go back to this person again. it was NOT worth the wait nor the money. I hope she got a good tip from her 2 other hair cuts that were going to be $16 hair cuts. beyond mad and now I am going to have to spend money to get what should have been an easy cut fixed. read more

WORST HAIRCUT EXPERIENCE. I have been coming here for about a year, but today was my last visit. I did not have to wait long at all, but once I was getting my haircut, the stylist stopped on five different occasions to either answer the phone or greet a customer. About half way through my haircut she was called over the shampoo area. Five minutes later I was informed by another stylist that my stylist would not be coming back to finish my haircut, she was needed in the shampoo area. I then was told it would be about 10 minutes before someone else could finish my haircut. A few minutes later, the stylist to my right finished with the customer she was working with. She asked me to switch into her chair, at which point she asked "so what are we doing today?". I replied, "I am not really sure, and you should probably check with the stylist that walked away half way through my haircut." Needless to say, not the best experience and not the best haircut. How can you simply walk away from someone when you are half way through their haircut? Worst of all, no apology, and no acknowledgment that my simple haircut took an hour. read more

I am a big fan of Supercuts on Lemmon but tried the Las Colinas site since it is close to home. The service has been very poor. There is constant turnover in staff. Waits can last over 45 minutes with only two stylists on duty. Then you get bumped by mysterious call aheads after you are told a 15 minute wait. Management oversight is lacking. I'll go elsewhere. read more

Came in at 8:00pm Thursday for a haircut. 4 people ahead of me, but was willing to wait. There were 3 stylists so the wait was not long. Told Elizabeth I wanted it at my shoulders and layered and she got the cut right on. She was friendly as well. $15.95 for the haircut. read more

Ask for Amy. I've never been more impressed, from start to finish, with the efficiency and technique of a stylist. In this case, it's newcomer (to this salon location), Amy. She's well versed in both men's and women's (short & long) hair styles. I know this, because I saw her complete a set of hilites on a young woman with long hair. And, as the other two stylists looked on, admiring the finished style and stating, "Amy's our color specialist! Go girl!", Amy proceeded to explain to the young lady how to manage / upkeep her new color and style; followed by an appreciative smile & hug from the client. Professional and genuinely personable. I opted to wait for Amy to complete her next client. As, I was told it'd be a quick man's cut; something about a "0 fade", I believe. Amy, then proceeded to briefly consult with the gentleman; getting the clear vision of the new style he was going for. There was a sense of 'southern hospitality' and charm about Amy's approach that I really appreciate. Too many times have I run into a salon to get my hair cleaned up. And, though I needed very little maintenance, I felt as if I was being churned out by someone solely interested in meeting a quota. I get it. But, I find I prefer & appreciate a little sincere stylist-to-client chit-chat. I mean, I'm the one that has to wake up to my hair *every day*. Amy's personal, welcoming approach coupled w/her overall seasoned technique is going to keep me coming back. And, I haven't forgotten about the amazing woman's color job she turned out before I was seated. I've shared that w/a handful of women in my network. As, some of them rather fancy a new color, some streaks & hilites, etc. And, one of them needs a color correction; something I overheard Amy has also done after stylists elsewhere left a client w/shoddy work. I have been going here for quite some time and everyone is ok but this time Miriam was the stylist and she did a horrible job with the haircut and beard trim. With the haircut i only wanted a little shorter than what i had but she was not able to level properly and to balance it out she cut it way shorter than i wanted..One side is like a step now and other is tapered and it looks horrible..She used clippers for beard and when i showed its not leveled, she got really mad and said i know to use clippers only and if that doesn't cut it I cant help..I did not know what to reply to that.. I asked her to use scissors and a comb n she said she cant and again used the clippers.. She did not merge the side burns and the beard properly and now the side burns look thicker than the beard..I am never going there and hoping this would help others as well.. read more

Ok So Im on a budget and decided to go to Supercuts. I took in a picture of long layered locks with side swept bangs ..................................... pictures dont really work I guess. I walked out of there went home to dry and style my hair and it looks like a child cut it. There is no texture....the layers are crappy....my bangs are a disaster. And my long beautiful locks that use to sit at my waist are now right below my shoulder.......:( (sad face). I know it will grow out, but I don't care if i am on a budget or not, I will have to spend more to get what I want! Maybe it was the hairstylist, but don't get your hair cut here if you are a woman with long thick hair. Its better for men, women with short hair and children. read more

Went in for a haircut after work...didn't schedule a appointment. Just waited 25 mins while 4 stylist were there. I think this place is the best spot compared to others in Dallas. Would definitely going back..well worth the wait and 20 I paid. read more
