Well initially I called before I came here to get my hair cut. I asked the lady that answered the phone If they had anyone here who could cut African American and she said yes. I'm like okay I sit down she precedes to wash my hair and put the keratin treatment on it. Rinse it out and then seat me back in the hair chair. She proceeded to cut my hair wet after I told her that is can be kind of tricky since my hair is naturally curly. She assured me and stated that she knew what she was doing. I had the most saddest experience there I basically took my mom there to cut her hair for her own mother's funeral and the lady said she was next and she sat there for an hour and then when it was my mom's turn, the lady who was cutting my mom's hair friend walked in. She took her friend instead of my mom when I asked her what was going on. She said it'll take about 10 minutes and then she made another comment while you could bring her back tomorrow and then after that I said no we need the haircut today and then when my mom told her what happened. I thought I was next. The lady said that's it. I refuse services and then when I asked her what was going on she said I had the right refuse and then I got wanna talk to your manager, and she kinda laughed at me and just started laughing at me I really thought I was really gonna go to Jail that day. I don't recommend this place. It was some little short, chubby, Mexican girl with glasses. it was either on May 7 May 8. About 4 o'clock it could've been May 6 too. My husband went in to get a cut and have some sort of blending done/fading which clearly is not in their wheelhouse but she tried. He said the girl was very nice and that he thought it could work... Until myself, our 4yr old and others in the house noticed the sheer wonkiness of this haircut. I get it were back from covid and all but really? He forked out 20+ for this? Only to have to have it corrected elsewhere?? Not cool guys not cool Update: The situation was rectified by their wonderful customer service team (props to Krista!!). Made a reservation in the morning for a 5pm spot later in the day. When I get here, Erica says that they see walk ins before reservations!? What in the world is a reservation available on the app if the stylist does not abide by it!? Someone needs to speak with the stylist because she needs to know. If this is the case, then I suggest supercuts remove the reservation feature if the stylist does not follow it. Super Cuts, more like SUPER dissatisfied with the service. I would say skip this location if you want highlights or anything fancy done to your hair. I went in wanting highlights on my brown hair. Erika worked on me and my hair turned out orange. Went back and the tall girl with long black hair and bangs said she would fix it. Well she was unsuccessful in completing the task. Worst place ever!! Don't bring your kids here. My boys got the worst haircuts. These two woman didn't even make conversation with me, I was the one mostly making conversation. They left my kids haircut patchy and uneven. I told her it didn't look right to me, and her response was I already went over it. they didn't even say bye to me. She does the best Tea Tree scalp massage ever.. really feels great. And she's awesome at cutting hair. I just ask her: make me look good. And she does the rest. Took my 4 year old here for a haircut, he gives me such a hard time at home when I try to do it myself I decided to take him in for a professional cut. He did AMAZING! Great haircut . I normally don't walk in to any hair salon. I do my research and is very picky . Well I didn't have a lot of time and not too many places on the east side of town . So I saw Supercuts and went right in . Only one person getting a haircut . The salon was very clean and fresh inside . Not overly suffocated by product . I would not take my dog to be groomed to this Supercuts. My wife received the worst haircut she has ever had in 58 years. She took a picture of the haircut she wanted and asked for, which was a picture of past haircuts showing a feathered hairstyle. She received anything other than what she asked from the hair butcher, I'd say hair stylist but this was definitely an uneducated butcher that could barely speak English.!!! She has received haircuts from other Supercuts prior and has never had a problem until now. Beware and keep your distance customers!!! read more

My son got his haircut by Alyssa, she took about 10mins to cut his hair, did not blend his haircut she left his sideburns uneven, and pushed is neckline to far up and completely ignored the fact he had a cowlick so now his hair is to short to even style. read more

Two weeks ago, I had gone to another salon on a Friday night and my hair was ruined by a stylist who said that color was her specialty.!!!!! The color was horrendous! It looked like shoe polish! I was heartsick! I called Supercuts on Saturday, desperate for help!! Kaire (pronounced Katy) took me under her skilled and artistic spell! She totally transformed my hair disaster into a work of art!!!! She was awesome.! Not only was my hair not hideous anymore.....it looked soooooo great!!! I appreciated her hard work and super talent!!! Thank you, Kaire!!!!!! You are just THE best!!! This was done at the East Lancaster Supercuts NOT the 20th Street Westside Supercuts. I went there first before I went to the disastrous one at JC Penny. The Westside Supercuts told me that they couldn't put more than 21 foils in my hair for lowlights. They were cold and unfriendly. I left and dug up the idea to go to Penney's. I spent 3 hours there and she didn't even have time to cut my hair. And it cost sooooooo much wasted money. My angel is Kaire!!!!!! When I took him back to have them fix it, the receptionist was rude, charged me another $20, and they still left his hair a mess. On a Monday afternoon at about 4:00 PM, Lisa Ann was cutting her son's hair when I walked in. She rolled her eyes as if I was bothering her by coming in and giving my name. I hoped to get one of the other stylists but I got her. She did a decent job but did not give me my change after running my credit card. She expected the entire $7 to be her tip on a $18 haircut. I asked her if that was a bit excessive but she said that was the going rate. She kept thanking me for my generosity and refused to open the register. I won't be returning to that Supercuts and If I do, I will pay in cash and give as much or as little tip as I determine is fair. read more

I've been growing my hair for a year. Went for "trim" explained that I have been growing my hair and that I wanted the bare minimum taken off the length, that I still had some layers I'm growing out and to leave them. Well she cut about 3 inches off my hair!!!! Thats at least 6 months of growth I have been working on. I take a pic after I trim every 2 months and yes its a significant difference. I can tell she evened out my length with my last layer which I DID NOT ask her to do! I only went here because the my hair dresser left regular place I go to and tried here. Never again. I tried this place several times and unfortunately had to go elsewhere. Where do I even begin? I took my daughter to get her eyebrows waxed and she was left with a burn mark when I called to let them know, I was told that it happens sometimes!!?? No, not if you are careful. You think I wouldn't go back just with that but no, I decide to get a haircut. She first cuts my hair and makes me look like Johnny Depp in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Then she thins out my hair so much it felt like half of the hair I use to have. It was so uneven, it was just an awful haircut! It was so funny, I went to the Supercuts in Quartz Hill to see if they can fix it. She looks at my hair and says "oh my goodness, who did this to you?" She did the best she could but told me that I would have to wait for it to grow out and that I would need several haircuts to even it out again. Ok, so I wait some time and I try this place again and go to someone completely different to get my hair dyed. I know, I know now I'm a total idiot. My first clue to get up and run was that the girl I went to started asking around how to do what I had asked for. I asked for three tone highlights. At the end my hair was patchy orange. This was the last straw. Never again will I return to this place. It feels like this is where they send all the newbies or the girls that barely passed beauty school or maybe didn't even go to beauty school.
