I was just passing through town and forgot my clippers to buzz my head so I found a supercuts on the way to my destination so I stopped in for a quick buzz. Brenda was available and very pleasant, I told her I wanted a buzz cut and she gave me pricing. Honestly I knew where I was at so I expected to pay more than the do it yourself method but again Brenda was great. The shop was clean and had a good vibe going and was decorated appropriately for Halloween. This may not be for everyone but it does feel nice to pamper yourself from time to time so if you decide to do it ask for Brenda or even better call ahead for pricing, hours, and a cut! read more

What a big disappoint! I had the worse experience ever. That will tech me to arrive at opening time. The receptionist took my order and the stylist called me back. The stylist didn't bother reading the ticket. She didn't care or lazy to read the ticket. She had a shitty attitude and portrayed someone who didn't want to be there. Don't come in to work with such a lousy attitude. I wanted it cut and trimmed and thinned out. Most stylist know how to so this. She didn't obviously cause I had to ask her to thin it out twice. She gave me a crappy cut! When I went to check it she came up and said that she forgot to style my hair or give me a wash. Now she reads the ticket. I called this location and asked if I could make an appointment for a hair cut. The representative that answered me said yes and that he has a 2:30 PM available. I showed up a few minutes early and went to the front desk to let them know I was there. He asked if I called ahead, and I said "yes I have a 2:30." He then told me, "OK it will be 15-20 minutes." Then a second representative said, "please have a seat, it will be 20-30 minutes." I told her I have a 2:30 appointment, and she said "we don't take appointments you just have to get on a list and wait your turn." As you might imagine, the reason I made an appointment was because I didn't have the time to wait 20 minutes. This store was so disrespectful and showed such a blatant disregard for the customer and their time. The representative clearly told me he would schedule me for a 2:30 appointment and after going out of my way and driving all the way to the location, they then tell me that there "are no appointments" and that I would need to wait 20-30 minutes? Completely inappropriate and horrible customer service. Please steer clear of this location. read more

Fast service in a clean location. No appointments are offered but when we arrived my son had various options. J.P. was the stylist that took care of the haircut. Checked in had a little wait, long enough to grab lunch. Took us right in. Lovely atmosphere, happy stylists. Loved the shampoo and massage. Showed her a picture one time and she totally got it. I called Supercuts on Monterey in Palm Desert this morning and asked for an 11:30 appointment. I was there at 11:15. This was my first time there. After reading all the good reviews decided to try them. I was greeted warmly. Angie was my stylist. I showed her a picture of the style and we discussed how she would cut my hair. She conferred with the manager and I was so pleased with Angie's cut and her personality. The Manager checked her work and she was very nice (didn't get her name). It was a very pleasant experience and I will be going there from now on for my haircuts. read more

TERRIBLE!! DONT GO HERE!!!!!! I went in to get some pieces of my hair touched up from spots I missed when I dyed my hair and they were so rough with my hair. I have extensions and when I told the older Mexican lady to be more careful when brushing through the top of my hair, she didnt and she wasn't gentle at all!! When she was washing my hair she threw it all over the place and got water and I think it was developer all over my fucking face. And when she had a towel to dry it there she was rubbing my forehead and eyebrows super hard!!!!! I told her to be careful because my makeup but she didn't care at all. When they blow dryed my hair they just "semi blows dryed it" what the fuck? Who semi blow drys hair ?! It was still wet in spots and only dry in most spots after I complained multiple times for them to blow dry it!!! PLUS THERE WAS STILL FUCKING SPOTS THEY MISSED WITH THE DYE!!!!!!! TERRIBLE. Called them in advance to schedule, but they do not take appointments (unless it's an hour before the desired time). Went in anyway, since I was needing my hair trimmed BADLY! Being a visitor & a first timer, had no idea who to ask for or what to expect. Boy was I IMPRESSED! Jessica was my stylist & she is amazing. Easily my favorite hairstyle to date. She is an artist! I literally can't stop staring at my new look. Easy to work with, tons of experience & a true passion for hair. So happy to have found her! I randomly went to this Supercuts for a trim and color since I had been experiencing bad hair cuts and marginal color. I was ready to try someone new. Kathy was my stylist and she did an amazing job getting my color exactly as I wanted it. She also did a great job trimming my hair and offered a great suggestion for a moderate change in my hair style. Like everyone else, my time is very limited and another good thing about Kathy is that she worked efficiently and knew exactly what she was doing to get the result we both wanted. I have had her do my hair several times and since she travels around the valley to different locations I call ahead to find out where she will be so I can have her do my hair each time. I pay a small request fee which is well worth it. Since I have a limited budget for my hair this has been a great find for me and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. read more

On vacation for a week in Palm Desert and really needed to have my hair "taken care of" by a professional. Well I have heard great things about Supercuts and Timmarie. I was thrilled after having a disaster at Fantastic Sams, where I asked for toner and got permanent dye instead! It had taken me 3 1/2 years to grow out all the gray, only to have them ruin it. Timmarie listened to what I wanted and the result was "ROCKSTAR PERFECT" I will continue with Supercuts at home because I can maintain the amazing results I got from her, at my local Supercuts. She was so nice & super personable, never once did I feel like she didn't want to cut my hair because it was late. My past few visits were pleasant, however my last visit left me with a rather less than nice experience. The lady cutting my hair had very long fake nails that would keep stabbing me all over while she was cutting my hair. The service I attained was a simple bang trim and afterwards while I was paying she said if I wanted to give her a tip through my card. Even though the service was quick and simple I was still gonna give her a cash tip, but was it really necessary for her to be pushing for a tip the way she did? It was sheer luck that he was the one free to cut my hair on my first try with a Supercuts establishment!! Now I am totally hooked simply because no one has in my many many years been able to cut my hair so well! JP is gifted with an artist eye. I gave him free reign to do his thing and WOW did I love the results!! My hope is that JP doesn't retire or leave the area in the next 20 years should I be blessed to live that long! Worst place to get your haircut ever. The old lady that did my hair was so rude. I had gotton there at 7:00pm and there was 2 people ahead of me and 2 hair stylist. Well when it got to my turn almost 8:00pm cause the old lady that did my hair still thinks shes in her 30s and was taking her time doing the tall hot young cowbow that was before me. So it was my turn at almost 8:00 and the lady started insulting me about my hair from the start. Like saying "I have never seen hair this bad in my life " like I cant layer it until you fix it". And proceeded to be more insulting as we went on. I am too nice so I just sat there and took it plus I really wanted my hair cut for the following day. My hair is not THAT bad lol I mean I had dry ends but nothing THAT derastic geez lol She did keep looking at her watch and asking the other girl what time it was tho. Seriously they dont even wet your hair anymore,they just take a spray bottle to it?? Of course its going to be hard to comb, use practical sense. Anyways, the point is I will never go to supercuts again EVER. There are so many places to go for hair. Seriously, the last thing you want to do is insult your customers. No one greeted me and finally when someone did they said they'd be "right with me" so I wait 15 minutes and then the woman tells me "it's about 15 more minutes" like she could've told me that and I wouldn't went somewhere that was actually going to be"right with me". I called before I came asking if they can do a taper haircut and ethnic hair. The lady said yes they can. I get there and ask the same question as well as show her two pictures of what I would like and she assured me that any one of the ladies could complete the look I wanted. She let me know the wait was 45-55 min and I said ok. When it's my time to get in the chair after waiting an hour the stylist told me she doesn't cut like that and I would have to go to a barbershop! The star is for customer service because I called and asked, showed pictures, and was reassured that the style I wanted could be done; which it could not after waiting an hour when I could have gone some place else. So I've been in here once or twice before, and I've always had a pleasant experience. However, this is the first time I've left a place thinking "Wow. You know, I REALLY like my hair".
