Came in, had a reservation for 4:30, and got my haircut around 4:15, so I'm happy about that! I just asked for a really, really short buzz, like the step above, bald! And the lady who was cutting my hair was so nice! All the workers are nice and chatty to their clients. I also like the Tea Tree Wash, which is $ 15 more because of the soap, but it's SO worth it. It feels amazing. You also get a massage, and it smells kinda minty. (Personally, that was a plus for me, I like mint) The ONLY, literally the ONLY, reason it's at four stars and not five is that I have realized the buzzers do hurt sometimes; they might need new ones, like it was pulling my hair. It did hurt, but she did get a new one when I told her, so it's all good. I will be coming back! read more

When I have got a haircut there, often it was fine. Now, I have decided to give my business to a neighborhood establishment. Supercuts makes appointments but actually a staff person with whom I spoke this week was transparent with me about appointments. You may be offered an appointment, you may ask for one, and you have get one...but it isn't actually an appointment...it's a shortcut for check ins. Last week I made an appointment, I got there five minutes before getting there and told there were four people ahead of me...there they were, sitting in the waiting room. Likely at last some of them had an appointment but chose to wait. I left. The next day, I though I'd give it another try...I went without an appointment. I asked to have my hair cut and told it shouldn't be more than two or three minute wait. I was there nearly 20 minutes while the two staff cutting hair and a third person didn't look like she was in a hurry fiddling around doing housework. No acknowledgement what so ever that I was waiting. I left. This morning I called...because...why not. I called and put on hold enough time for me to decide to bring my business elsewhere. You know what Supercuts, you deserve this critique. You should value your customers' time as much as their money. read more

Horrible experience. Booked an online appointment, arrived 5 minutes early and was told 10 minute wait. People already seated were called before me which I was okay with but then 2 others come in and are taken before me. When I arrived there were 4 girls working then 2. People came in and were not even acknowledged so they walked out. My 10 minute wait ended when I walked out after waiting 35 minutes. If my wait was going to be 35 minutes or longer then be honest and state such don't lie and say 10 minutes. I have been here twice before having a pleasant experience. Today was not pleasant. Poorly managed and inaccurate wait time. If I was told 35 minutes or longer I would have had the option to return or come back another day. Now, I will not return to this place. read more

Have had my hair ruined here three times now. Asked for an inch of the top and they take almost all my hair, was completely bald and had been growing my hair back for almost a year. Genuinely worst place for a haircut. Not only did they take most of my hair the haircut was uneven and much longer on one side than the other. Decent hair cut. What disturbed me most was the attire of some of the stylists. I couldn't believe my eyes when one young very overweight young lady had on a skirt that was so short it almost revealed her underwear! There were plenty of young men in the salon yesterday,I'm sure they were enjoying the sights If a business wants to convey a professional perspective,then they need to dress so. Definitely recommend getting some type of uniform for everyone. I know this is not a high end salon, but that doesn't mean that the stylist can't look professional. They push me to use the app you go on the app it says there's no wait and they're open for another hour and a half almost 2 hours you show up and they say sorry we're fully booked for the rest of the night come back another day. We moved to Plymouth a year and half ago and I initially went to Supercuts because of the convenience. Fortunately, I found Josalynn and she does a great job and is super nice and friendly. I am a male and just get a standard Haircut, but I'm sure Josalynn can easily handle more complex requests!! Give them a try!! I came in here with a super bad self done hair cut and Jocelyn helped me turn it into a really pretty and evened out Pixie cut. I had decided that after going to Hyannis supercuts and getting totally frustrated with the attitude from the employees that I would attempt the Plymouth supercuts based on its review's and See if their environment was any different. I didn't even make it in the door!! I literally stepped out of my jeep to a girl crying on the sidewalk and looking very nervous. She said her mom dropped her off and she couldn't get her on the phone. I asked her if she wanted to sit in my car for a moment to calm down. She was very ruffled. This is my favorite Supercuts anywhere, and I've been to more than a couple! I came out today with a great haircut (thanks Tamara!) some retail product and I'll gladly go back next week for a color. The salon is always super clean, the wait is seldom very long (call ahead to get waitlisted) and I really like the way they've morphed into more of a full service salon chain with services you might not expect- waxing, color, scalp massage & treatment - the things we all like but don't want to pay an arm & a leg for. You'll get those here at fair prices, with a smile and not too pushy! Great color services make me a fan and keep me coming back! Don't ever go to this Supercuts . . . The manager is rude and they charge men less than women for the same services. A cut and blow dry for men is $22 and for women a wash and blow dry (no cut) is $40. They tried to rationalize it by saying women have longer hair but I have seen men come in with more hair and still get charged the lower price. When I asked the manager about the rationale about charging more to women than men, she got nasty and said she would refuse service . . . I have also seen people come in who had made an appointment over the phone only to be told they would have to wait 45 minutes. Make up your mind, either prioritize call ins or just do walkins only. I have always gotten a good haircut here but the staff is very unprofessional. This is the second time I called beforehand and made an appointment and ended waiting an hour while the hairdressers took other people who came in after me. Only 1 who had an appointment at the same time as me, the rest were all walk-ins. As it was I had checked in 10 minutes before the other person with the same time appointment and they were taken before me. I will never use them again. I don't know why they discriminated against me but I will not be back. Do not use them. read more

Just might be the BEST Supercuts EVER! They did a GREAT job cutting my hair exactly how I wanted it cut then topped it off by putting some gel in to keep it looking the way I wanted to look. And contrary to what some previous reviews said, the girl cut ALL the hair I wanted cut off as I wanted a very short hair cut. In and out in a very timely manner. Summary: If you want a fairly inexpensive haircut (by Massachusetts standards) and get what you want cut in a timely manner this is the place for you. read more

I've never felt the need to write a yelp review until now I was at Plymouth at "colony plaza" Supercuts on Saturday and had a nice sweet girl cut my hair, unfortunately didn't get her name, and while she was cutting my hair she kept getting teased by what seemed to be her boss. She kept walking by making sarcastic comments towards her right in front of me which made me extremely uncomfortable and felt the embarrassment from my stylist. I finally made a remark back to her boss saying my stylist was doing a good job then asked my stylist if she always does that to her and she said yes. My haircut came out awsome but unfortunately I won't be back in after how I saw the staff there be treated. I'm only writing this in hopes for a more positive work environment for the employees who work there. read more

Came in around 6 PM on a weekday. Was hoping to just get a regular men's hair cut. I realize this isn't the most fitting place to ask for a regular, but I work 8-6 M-F, I was about to travel for work, and I couldn't go to my normal barber. But they're professionals, right? They should be able to give me the simplest haircut out there. I saw a janitor cleaning up. I sat down and I prayed I would get someone decent. I waited five minutes--only one other person was in there receiving a haircut. I hear my name, and the hostess (sp) gives me the person I thought was the janitor! This guy virtually molested my head while he cut my hair. I have never received a haircut where the barber needed to touch my head with his palms. And to top it off, he wreaked of cigarettes. What a piece of crap job this guy did. So we finish, and I head to the register... $15... Borderline criminal. Never going back. read more

Word! These ladies know their stuff! Get the Zen tea tree oil treatment. Awesome shampoo and condition with a head a neck massage (awesome) and a hot steamed towel to relax you. Follow this up with a cut and you come out FRESH! Only been here twice but always leave happy. No appointments needed but you can call ahead same day. Probably would have been a great cut if she listened to what I wanted. I said tapered on the sides and back and blended to the top and with some off the top, she heard BALD on the sides and back. While cutting the sides she asks me, how bald do you want it? Now I look like Kim Jong-un. Update, A day after the area supervisor did in fact message me to offer a free haircut when it grows out. That is commendable and appreciated, however I will not be back into this place again. When I corrected my "hairstylist" that I did not want bald on the sides and never said I wanted bald, I overheard the lady sitting next to me say (for my benefit), Its no problem if hair is cut too short, it will always grow out. Well that is true it is temporary but I have news or her, if you are getting the haircut for a special occasion, the photos last forever. OK, enough of my ranting. Regis Corporate must be mandating that all of the franchises only cut 1/4 inch of hair off of their customers, because each and every time I've had my hair cut here I look at the floor and I see hardly any hair left behind from my hair cut. I like calling ahead to reserve a slot on busy days. For guys it's quick and not expensive but the quality if the cut varies wildly depending on the day. Best tip is to find someone you like and go on their shift. Have had a few shaky cuts when someone rushed but most have been good. Clean and convenient. read more
