They have reverted to their previous tip policy, cash. They no longer allow you to put the tip on your credit card. In a world where cash is rarely used, I find this inconvenient as I don't usually have cash on hand and when I do, it is less than the amount I would tip so now I need to make a special trip to the ATM and then find 5's and 1's. I understand it costs the salon a bit more to process, but I also feel a top line salon should offer top line service in every aspect, which includes ease of payment and minimizing client inconvenience. I will look into using paypal, but that will also be dependent on the hair stylist having a paypal account as well as their comfort in using it. I am still very happy with the quality of my color, it lasts and does not dry out my hair or quickly fade, even in the Plymouth sun! During our consultation, we discussed my part direction, hair texture, and how short I was comfortable going with my hair. In addition to the expected "dry cut",, a technique was used that felt like the scissors were sliding or "shaving" down my curls. Unfortunately, it left my whole head of hair feeling damaged, rather than soft. My part was also changed from how I normally wear it, which altered the shape of the cut. Additionally, even though I had booked a blow-dry online, the stylist concluded the appointment with no blow dry. (I did not pay for it ) Because curly hair has so much natural shrinkage, it wasn't until I got home and dried it myself that I realized just how short it had become. My hair so short I can't even put it in a ponytail or braid, The staff was pleasant, but I'm disappointed in the texture, length and overall curly cut treatment.
