Just like any barber/salon there will always be certain stylists you like more than others. Some are better with different types of hair. The same goes for this particular Supercuts. When I first started coming here about 5 years ago my satisfaction with the cut was about 50/50. Some times I really liked it and other times I didn't like it at all. It really depends on who you have cut your hair. If you don't like to wait make sure to call ahead and leave your name. Try different stylists and see who you like best. I found my stylist and she's been cutting my hair for the past 4 years. She's awesome company during the cut too and it never pains me to tip her the best I can. I won't tell you who my stylist is b/c you should find who's best for you. I'm certain the other stylists are great too, but I'm going to stick with mine for as long as I can. For a guy who cut his own hair for near 10 years (often shaving it off) paying for a cut seemed outrageous. But my stylist at Supercuts makes it a no brainer. =] Remember, the 5 stars above are for my stylist first and the establishment that brought me to her second. This was my first time there today and I loved it. I have really long thick hair and I always get nervous trying out a new salon. I had Brandon today and I told him I wanted to cut off 3 inches from the length and to add layers and that's exactly what he did. It came out great! I went in at dinner time on the Friday before Christmas. I did not have an appointment and I kind of expected the place to be busy and tempers to be short, but that is not at all what I encountered. Yes, it was busy, but everyone smiled, made eye contact and greeted me. The wait time was short and my stylist, Shannon, was great: she asked questions about what I wanted and took a little off at a time, making sure to let me know what she was doing. I have been here a few times before to get my hair cut and styles and had no issues. However I came the morning of my baby shower to just get my hair curled (I already washed and dryed) and they wanted $60 for just the curl. They settled on $40, and I dealt with it. Then my hairstylist began to ask personal questions about my relationship status and why I wasn't married yet. Worst, she asked me if I planned on breastfeeding my son and proceeded to tell me (with customers on both sides of me) that I need to make sure to lotion up my breasts because they are going to hurt and chap like crazy. I was embarrassed and felt like it was none of her business and didn't even know how to respond, I just said my hair looks great, paid and left. My hair didn't even look great either for the $40 curl! They have definitely lost my business! read more

So I check in online at around 4:15, said theres a 10 minute wait, had a 4:45 appointment (?) And 2hen I got there at 4:30, I didnt get my haircut until 5:02. The lady cutting my hair was the slowest I've ever had! I finally finished at 5:45! 43 minutes for a haircut when usually it only takes about 15 minutes! And to top it off, I dont even like it!!! Those negative reviews below must be for a different SC because the SC on highland and day creek is by far the best haircut experience I have had in a long while. My exp : I walked into this bad a$$ haircut salon at 8:42pm, right before they close at 9:00pm. I kindly asked Ashley if they would take me and said I can come back because I do not want to be that schmuck that shows up before closing and makes the employee stay after. Ashley said yea no problem at all, we don't mind staying after as long as customer is happy. So then Ashley goes to the back and Michael starts cutting my hair. By the way, My expectations on walking into a supercuts is that I am going to get a basic haircut and i'll touch it up myself when I get home... Oh hellzzz no I was wrong. This dude Michael basically gave me best haircut ever. Then the coolest part was that he was actually happy & not pissed that it was going over 9pm. Then... Ashley comes up and starts fading the sides of my hair and giving Michael pointers on how to make it look even more bad a$$...It was cool to see employees giving each other tips and passing the clippers back and forth both working on my hair not giving a flying f that they closed 10 minutes ago... Michael was so chill taking pointers from Ashley...In today's world, people get hella butt hurt all easily so it was super cool to see the teamwork . --So im sitting in the chair thinking to myself like wtf these people hella passionate about their job at super cuts?...this is awesome.. So....I spent two hours and forty five minutes for color and a cut today. The gal moved so very slow the entire time. I asked to not go quite as dark with the color as before and she suggested a few highlights. She said she needed to figure the price, and went into the office for a good five minutes. When she finally emerged she quoted me $200 .....what? I don't usually leave reviews on here but I have to say the service I received from Carla yesterday (07/12/19) was one of the best experiences I've had in recent memory in regards to getting a haircut. Carla knew how to make good eye contact when speaking with me, asked good follow up questions, essentially had no issue with building rapport with me, her customer. She had briefly mentioned that the company had done a recent service training for the employees. That's actually good to hear and I wish more companies within this general region of the IE would do so as I have stopped going to many different stores due to poor/lackluster service. I can't believe the horrible haircut my friend received here. He asked for medium fade and it was not faded at all it looked like the girl literally just buzzed a "u" around his head. After he got in my car all I could do was laugh. My 9 year old sister could have done a better job. Then when we went back in another woman fixed it and asked me if it looked better, after I said yes she proceeded to get an attitude with me and asked me why I was being sarcastic, when I wasn't, it really looked a lot better. I usually hate getting my hair cut because there are only a few that can do a good job. I decided to give this Supercuts a try after not going to this location for some time. Back in February I found a stylist (Ashley) that did a great job. Since then I would go to her and I was always satisfied with the outcome. All good things must come to an end. On 8/21/13 I went to get my haircut by her and I was expecting a good job as usual. The result was a f**ked up hair cut. I felt like walking out without paying. I was with my 3 year old daughter and I didn't want the cops called on me for not paying. In short, I am back to square one. I will not be going back to this location. read more

After some needed self-honesty with the state of my hair, I decided to check out this Supercuts for my very much needed trim and I was very happy with the results. This shop has a bit of the edginess I look for in a salon (pink haired and tattooed employees are a selling point for me). I walked in without an appointment and was helped fairly quickly. The girl who cut my hair (I can't remember her name) was well-informed and very friendly and my hair turned out exactly as I had hoped. Alana managed to keep my length and even everything out and relayered my hair and it turned out great! I've been coming here since this place opened, about 10 years now. There is always a steady crowd of customers. I usually get a pretty decent cut. I mean it's supercuts, not a fancy salon so you get what you pay for. My only issue is that when they first opened, there were a few women that were there for several years, like family or friends after a while. Now, I literally see an entirely different crew each time I come in every couple months. I must have seen about 30-40 different stylists in the last 2 years and had my hair cut by a different person each time. What's going on with the extreme turnover? Hard to develop a relationship with a stylist if she's gone next time. read more

If I could give this 0 stars I would, first off, I waited around while one worker just sat around. Then, when I sat down to get my hair cut the lady was very rude to me. But on top of all that they gave me probably the worst hair cut I've ever gotten. They made it look nothing like it does in the pictures, cut it very unevenly and way too short. I would've been better off letting my hair grow to my feet. Anyone thinking about getting their hair cut here I strongly advise you not to. I will never be getting my hair cut here again.
