Expensive! We went for a cut with shampoo and blow dry. I booked online and it said it would be $39. We inquired about senior discount but said it was already bundled price so no further discount would be offered. When we got there, they charged an additional $25 because has was shoulder length, but still no discount for seniors. Ended up being $64 for cut, shampoo and blow dry. After spending $100 for a bad haircut at a "fancy" salon over the weekend, I just walked in to Supercuts on my lunch break today to see if someone could clean it up (without costing me another 100). Maria sat me down and did exactly what the other stylist couldn't accomplish, and in only 10 minutes. She fixed my bangs and blended the sloppy trim I was given, AND she just has a delightful friendly personality overall. She definitely gives you the bang for your buck! read more

Everything about this location needs to be improved. I went here a few years back and had the worst experience in my life. I know I'm posting my story late but my story matches up with so many other negative stories so I just feel I needed to share my story as well, just to hopefully save someone else from going through what I did. I went there to get a trim and all over color. When I got there I was assigned Phoenix as my hair stylist. I had already lightened my hair at home, so I just wanted her to trim the ends, maybe add some layers and I wanted my hair dyed Indigo. Anyone who knows color, knows Indigo is a mix of purple and blue. I told her I just wanted to have a very small amount of my ends trimmed because my ends were fried from the bleach and then an all over color using ONE color. Mistake #1: After emphatically telling her I only wanted a small trim, she said she was going to cut my hair before dying it because it's a waste of dye to color hair that's just going to be cut off. I completely agreed, no need to waste product like that. She then proceeded to gather my hair in a ponytail and cut off 3/4 of my hair. It had taken me years to grow it out to the length it was and only minutes for her to cut off all my progress. I was super upset but it was also too late to go back and I didn't want to walk out with bad hair. Not a lot of salons were open at that time because we were just getting back to normal after the Covid-19 pandemic and business were slow to reopen. She said she'll shape the cut after the color. Then she said to avoid looking because she wanted to surprise me with my color. Now all I wanted was one color on my hair, and that was Indigo, which is the color you get when you mix 2 parts purple with 1 part blue. After she applied the color, I was able to catch a glimpse of the roller tray that had the color on it and I saw she had three different color bowls there. But a first I didn't think anything of it. I just thought maybe she brought out extra color to combine in one bowl in case she needed more. After rinsing the color out, finishing the final touches on the hair cut, then drying and styling it, I looked in the mirror. At first the color seemed ok, but I ended up with hair barely touching my shoulders, so all that growth I worked on was gone. I paid and left. After leaving I had to run an errand and I was sitting in the pharmacy drive thru waiting and running my fingers thru my hair, when I noticed something didn't feel right, feeling that one side of my hair felt shorter than the other. So I grabbed the hair brush from my purse and proceeded to brush out the style she gave me, which I think she did to cover up my botched hair cut. After it was brushed out I saw that she gave me an asymmetrical cut and one side was shorter than the other. I ended up losing even more hair so that the other stylist I went to to get the uneven cut fixed but that wasn't the end of the problems with my hair. Turns out the colors in the 3 color bowls were used separately to make one all over color. Instead she colored my hair main in a violet purple, but when it came to using the blue instead of mixing the colors, she took small strips of my hair and applied the violet from roots to about half the way down then applied the blue to the rest of the way down the hair strand. The stylist I went to to fix the lopsided cut, told me about the half and half color but she also told me she saw pieces of hair that were not colored at all and still blonde. The fix-it stylist also informed me that with the way my hair was cut the first time, she could fix it so it that the botched cut would be hard to notice unless you were starting at it deliberately looking for the flaws, but she said that with all the messed up layers she wouldn't be able to fully fix it by cutting more. When this whole nightmare started, my hair was all the way down to the middle of my back, however after the hack job done by Phoenix then the clean up afterwards, my hair ended up as a blunt bob up to my jaw. I will never go to this location again. If 0 stars or even negative stars was an option for ratings I'd do it read more

Yea not happy at all. Patchy haircut and some unnecessary attitude. I could go on about how I definitely didn't feel welcome but that's not important right now. I know it's the end of the day and you want to go home but for the price that I paid, I expect more than a 5min buzz cut. I'm upset at the way I was treated and upset at the haircut. Can't help that my head was irritated already but the least you can do is be a little more gentle. No effort to fade the top to the sides. Horrible hair cut here. Would not and will not recommend this place to any men... I could have gotten the same hair cut for 5$ in some dudes garage. I needed some time to think about what review to write about without getting someone into trouble or fired. I showed up a few minutes early. So I went back out to my car to wait for the stylist to wave me when the appointment was ready. I was startled by a knock on my driver's side window. I'm my mind it was totally unprofessional and rude. It would have been nicer to just wave me from the front door of the Supercuts. When I walked into the salon, the other stylist apologized to me saying the mom with her toddler son had an appointment that appeared to have overlapped my scheduled appointment at the same time. So stylist revered me to the second stylist instead. I was a bit peeved. But sucked it up. Anyways, my 'stylist' invited me to sit in the chair and asked how I wanted my hair cut. I gave as close to a description as possible. She says I know exactly what you need. It's going to be so cute. Honestly, I wasn't looking for cute as a hair cut. I just wanted to have a hair cut. Now here goes the hard part of my experience. The stylist left her station to retrieve the #5 attachment for the buzz cutter. She began buzz cutting my hair. Then stopped to wet my hair with the spray bottle. So far the hair cut going well. One thing I wanted to point out is the comb/attachment/ and scissors did not seem to be sanitized. I probably should have inquired about it. But figured I was just being criticizing. moving forward. during the haircut, I noticed the stylist had a finger splint. I almost got bopped in the face while she was cutting my hair. I again should have said something. Another thing I wanted to point out was I mentioned to the stylist about my condition of hair loss. She says 'well have you had any changes in your medication'. OMG. Seriously. You can't ask those kinds of questions. totally unprofessional. Normally I complete the session. But the stylist once again left her station. She returned with a round roller brush and began to blowdry my hair. then sprayed my hair with hair spray. I should have stopped her right there. I never use hair spray in my hair. But again like a frozen duck, I accepted this treatment. Never have I ever gotten service from a stylist. She was totally unprofessional. Not asking me if I wanted my hair blow-dried or hair spray. Then to top everything off, the stylist attempted to get me to buy shampoo made specifically for hair loss. I had just enough funds to pay for the haircut. Overall the experience was horrible. The haircut could have been better. that's all I have to say. read more

I went in with long, chest length hair, and I was hoping for a shorter style. The entire cut barely lasted five minutes because the stylist was only concerned about going on her lunch break and wanted me out of the chair as soon as possible. She didn't double-check her work at all and brushed off my concerns when I mentioned the unevenness. Clearly, not a single thought or care was given to my hair. I'm now left with a choppy haircut that I can't even pull up in a ponytail! When I went in to talk about a refund, my concerns where dismissed and I was told to come back five hours later to talk to the manager. Yes, my hair is very thick. That's no excuse for a sloppy cut. If the stylist didn't have the training to deal with my hair type, she should have declined to cut it. I'm posting this to warn other thick-haired girls out there! read more

I looked this place up on Yelp and was surprised at all the low ratings. It looked nice from the outside and it was a Friday evening and we REALLY needed my son's hair cut so figured I'd chance it. I have to say: y'all (meaning you Yelpsters that gave this place poor ratings) missed the mark on this one- and I don't say that lightly! First- you walk in- the place is HUGE! I've never in my life seen a larger Supercuts than this one. It's also tastefully decorated and SUPER clean. There are 4 or five stations on either side and a bunch of space in between. Really nice. We were immediately greeted by the two ladies who work there. I didn't get the other one's name but Melanie ended up cutting my son's hair. She was super warm and patient and was meticulous about getting the haircut the way he wanted it (well- a tiny bit of input from me, too.) After she was done he looked super sharp and got a lollipop! Sold! This is where I'll be taking him from now on. Quality haircut in a nice place at a great price- $15.95. I also watched the haircuts the other stylist was giving and she also did very nice work. Phoenix is a gem! She has done my hair twice now and the second time I had just come from another high end expensive salon that had basically left me looking like nothing had been cut and it wasn't anywhere near what I wanted, so immediately afterward I went and saw Phoenix to have her fix me up. She did exactly what I wanted. I showed her two pictures and she did a mix of both. I got an aline haircut with fun textured short layers in the back while keeping the overall length, and she fixed my awkward bangs! She pays attention to what you want and executes it beautifully. I don't know why I went anywhere else, and now Phoenix is the only person I want to cut my hair from now on. Prices are actually very reasonable here as well, plus I would actually expect to pay a lot more for someone with such exeptional skills and attention to detail. read more

Yesterday I went to supercuts to get my hair cut for the first time in years. Right off the bat Phoenix was so friendly and helpful. She asks me tons of questions and consistently showed me what she was going to do before actually cutting it. I originally went In just for a trim but after answering a couple of questions I took her opinion on going for short hair. The result, I absolutely LOVE it!! It frames my face so well and she layered it perfectly. She gave me tons of advice and recommendations on how to work with my hair. I normally wash it every day but she said to try dry shampoo and wash it less. I bought some dry shampoo and am loving it! I will definitely be coming back. Although cuts were done quickly, I received dismissive attitudes from a female at the Shoppers Square location and a female named Maria at this location when I expressed concerns about giving detailed information. Instead of doling out eye rolls, I would expect these workers to be accommodating of individual preferences since they are being paid to give personal attention. I posted a rating of two out of five stars on Google, but I noticed that it was deleted; I assume that the salon owner erased it. This observation has worsened my thoughts on Supercuts and companies in general. I had pretty much just gone here for the convenience, but after my recent haircut, I will no longer be going to this establishment. I never write reviews, but I was incredibly uncomfortable from the moment I walked in to check-in for my appointment, to the moment the ladies referred to a man as "oriental." I understand not everyone will have the same feelings towards this term, but, for me, I was very uncomfortable. I was met with attitude from the start when giving my name (Niah). This was uncomfortable already as there were no other names similar to mine on the list (i.e. Paul, Brandon), but was met with a scowl and, "? Niah like N-I-A-H?" A response like this is something I am unfortunately familiar with because it is not a common name, but when there is only one name on the list that could possibly be Niah (knee-uh), it airs on the side of a micro aggression. Please research "name micro aggressions" if you are unaware, but it is unfortunately very common. With this being said, I was also met with much attitude regarding the requests I had for my haircut. I have had my hair cut the same way for years and have never had an issue. I hate to write such a negative review, it just did not feel right if I did not inform others of this experience. read more

Prior to walking in when I went online I had the option to request a 6:30 appointment I figured I was right across the street so I was going to stop in with my kids to get my sons haircut. It was 6:13 when we walked inside and I asked the lady if my son could get a haircut and she looked at me and looked at my kids and said no because she had another man who was about to get a haircut and she stops taking appointments at 6:30. So had I gone online I could have put that appointment in regardless for 6:30 but you can tell the look on her face she just didn't want to. I get it, I walked in with 5 kids and it might not be the ideal "customer"she was looking for but her face said everything. Not only was it not even 6:15 but her demeanor was as if she was just looking at my kids and not wanting that to be the end of her day. I've been getting my sons and watching my husband get a haircut for 12 years now and I know they don't take that long. His is a simple fade from the little bit of outgrown hair he has and idk it just was upsetting like you still have more then 45 mins of being open you have nobody else there except for one man that you're already starting at that moment. She didn't even offer an alternative or just be friendly about it in general. She could have simply said you know what I'm really sorry but if you want to come in tomorrow at this and that time it would have felt like a nicer interaction and i might have been like you know this lady was being nice and friendly and honest I'm going to come back tomorrow. We just moved to the area and unfortunately left our wonderful hair lady whom we've been going to for years and that's what I was looking for here thinking this could be our new spot for the next how many ever years I mean we are a family of 7 and haircuts are a monthly necessity especially for my son and my husband that's more so of every 2-3 weeks, plus me and our girls that's a lot of business there but needless to say this particular Supercuts did not want our business and we are never stepping foot in here again. read more

NO STARS IF I COULD, I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE I PAID FOR THIS SHIT!!! My regular hair lady was not available and I'm heading out of town for vacation. Since I just needed a quick trim nothing big I thought I would be fine just going to this place since the salon is in the same shoping center as my regular hair lady's shop and I was already in the area. I was greeted and asked what I needed (Wish I had the name of this person) all I remember is that the other hairdresser had a bird in her shoulder as she cut a man's hair which I thought was weird. I asked to keep my length. I just needed a small trim on my ends, I emphasized that I wanted to keep the deep "V" shape and just need to add more layers on the top since my hair had grown out my top layer. I was asked how I wear my hair curly or straight I said that I let my hair do its thing and I wear it natural. I was told I was going to need to wet my hair to cut it since is curly and I said "ok" I was signaled to follow as I was told "I'm not going to spray down all that hair". I was taken to the sink and my hair was just ran in the sink quickly with water just to get wet which was also weird since I usually get it washed but whatever...and I got walked back to the chair. I was told to stand up while the hairdresser sat on the hair to cut MY hair because it was 'too long to cut' sitting down. I thought this was also odd since my regular lady never requested that but then again I'm not a hairdresser what do I know. I was asked if I had my hair cut by razor before, I was hectic about that because I was told that you should never cut curly hair with a razor. I said "no I have not" and was told it would give me long and short layers just like I wanted. The hole time it was akward talk and weird comments.... And was finally asked to sit down 1/2 way through. I was told by this person that I needed to loose 2 inches because my hair was too damaged and stringy, I did not believe that but I said it was ok to cut 2 inches off it was that damaged, and again emphasized about keeping the V shape. My regular lady uses scissors and I found it odd that this person only used the blade, I kept hearning my hair tearing and began freaking out inside. Then I was told "You need to take biotin, to help your hair grow. Have you heard of it?" I said I have, but didn't know why I would be told that since my hair was long and in my opinion fairy healthy took me years to get the length I wanted. Then was told to stand up and was handed a mirror. Part of me was afraid to look and was made fun off by this person for facing the wrong side, but in reality I could feel a lot of weight off my head was gone and was afraid to look. I looked in the mirror and 1/2 of my length was gone!!!! My V shape gone!!!! and I have half assed layers! Some strands longer than the rest of the hair. I was speechless!!!!! I loved my hair before and it took years to get to a point where I felt Comfortable with it and even loved it. I said "where is the V?" "where is my length?" And was told that with all the damage I had all of that hair needed to be cut, and that a "V" shape wouldn't be possible because I would have to loose more length and I had specified that I didn't want to loose my length so that's why it was gone... WHAT!? I felt sick. I couldn't get out fast enough. I wanted to cry! I'm not a confrontational person what so ever and I just wanted to run out. I handed my card paid and walked out. I got in my car with tears in my eyes and cried all the way home. I don't want them to fix it. I dont even know if they will take this review to heart and I won't even go back in there if they tried!!! I only wrote this review to warn others so they wont feel what I felt. Now I have my family vacation and my hair is butchered!!!! Now I have to wait until I get back for it to be fixed by my regular hair lady and I will need to loose more length for this mess to be fixed!!!! This person should NOT be cutting hair. It makes me sad that a "professional " would not listen to what was asked of them instead made the decision to do everything I asked NOT TO DO. read more

My husband and I have been having our haircut here for the last 1.5 years. My last visit, while the woman that cut my hair was very nice, my cut was not good. After $19 and a $5 tip...5 minutes in the chair 1" off...I had to come home and trim what she missed......after 1.5 years of wonderful service...disappointed.
