My first time coming here. It was Sunday and we were a walk in at about 3:30pm closes at 6pm. I am in customer service now for 31 one years and I do my best to be helpful. We walked and the first lady to look at us smacking her gum was not very nice about them being very busy. I get it, but the way she came across was not cool. I could see it was busy and knew probably were not going to be seen. I said thank you and left, but when my 12 year old says they didn't want to help us I knew I was correct in my feeling. I called the Supercuts down the street and was told yes come on over and we did just that. I understand if you are booked, short handed, busy, but don't make customers feel bad for coming in. I went here for a haircut for first time in years. It was a quick cut and cost me $21. I had provided me email on line and was supply to get a $2 coupon in email (never came). I had a Supercuts card for "get 12 haircuts, 13th is free". I had 11 haircuts filled out on card and was hoping to get them to fill out for 12th. They said they wouldn't do it and card is no good. Looks like my 12th haircut caused me to NEVER get a 13th at a Supercuts! I will stay with Great Clips: better, cheaper, nicer people, etc. no wonder I was only customer in place the whole time. read more

Cami is amazing! She just recently started at this salon, but she's been cutting and coloring my hair for almost 2 years. She is the only person I trust with my hair! She is very knowledgeable when it comes to what products are good for my hair and always gives me great tips on how I can style it myself at home. Whenever I come to her, she always explains what she is doing step by step and checks with me about everything she does. I went into a panic when I found out she moved salons! I'm so happy I was able to contact her to find her new salon. I now have to drive about 45 minutes to see her, but she's worth request a specific time now too, I used to have to just show up and hope there wasn't a long line. I'm so excited to come and see her at her new salon! She is definitely my go-to girl for anything hair related. Edit: She is now located at the JCPENNY salon at the Valencia mall! Waaaay nicer environment and I don't feel like the staff is rushing me out of the chair! Prices are pretty much the same. read more

She is a very wonderfully skilled and talented very creative woman gives lovely cuts and and excellent undershave under cut designs as well. Super friendly as well! 1:45pm 5/25/2022 checked online 0 minutes wait. Drive over arrive at 1:50pm. No one inside except the stylist who's cut my hair before. She says were booked, again I was the only customer in the store. I look around and say really? Your system stated no wait. Again she states we're booked. Appointments at 1:45 & 2:00pm. I'm the only one in the store and after many haircuts at this location over the last 10+ years or so I'll never go back. Neither should you. read more

The facility itself was nice but the people were very unfriendly. It felt like no one had the desire to cut my hair, lol. Both stylist were available with no one in front of me, after waiting maybe 10 min someone came in the door and the stylist took on his customer, I thought, ok this could have been an appointment. I continued to sit there while the other stylist looked bored walking in and out of the place. Even if she was waiting for an appointment, no one communicated anything to me. I didn't get to have my hair cut, so this review is solely on the attitude of the woman that took my call, told me to come at 4:30pm and had me wait for 22 minutes while she was cutting other people's hair. The place closes at 5pm, it was a Friday and I specifically asked if I could come in and get my hair cut and be done by 5pm and she said yes. As I mentioned, I had been waiting for 22 minutes and I realized that it wasn't going to happen. Another gentleman had come in earlier, had put his name down and he was told to return and he did, but of course, the 2 women there cutting hair were busy and both as slow as molasses. It was clear to me and to the other gentleman, that they had no intention of cutting our hair. The gentleman left and I told them I was leaving as well. All I got was a "sorry" they obviously wanted to leave by 5pm. What a waste of time. Good hairdressers are hard to find these days. I'm going to agree with Dan K. on the turnover situation. I really would rather not pay more than $20 for a haircut, and Supercuts and Fantastic Sams is really the only place that can make this happen any more. Its really depressing when you find someone who can really give a haircut... I mean REALLY know what they're doing with a pair of scissors. And when you find that person, if it happens to be at Supercuts or Fantastic Sams, you really have to get their home address, cell number and a copy of their social security card to ensure you follow them wherever they go in three weeks after they quit. After visiting Fantastic Sams, I came here to have my haircut fixed. THe girl did a decent job at fixing my A-line cut and only charged me the kid's price, which was like $14. I gave her a $20 and was out the door. I really appreciated her fixing the cut that the 18 year old girl, who appeared to be fresh out of beauty school had butchered. read more

Made an appointment for 3:20pm. When I walked in there was 1 employee and in a very unfriendly tone asked me if I made an appointment. I let her know that I did create an appointment. She proceeded to tell me that there was 2 people in front of me and I needed to wait. I asked the lady if they made appointments too because they shouldn't be allowing that many appointments at the same time frame. The lady stuttered and said well no and just stared at me. This is our local branch. Like many men, I could give a rat's ass about my hair, so it's hard to give me a bad haircut. The worst thing about this place is the amount of personnel turnover. You find a gal you like and next time she's gone. We had a somewhat regular gal - Marjan, taking care of our daughter's hair for the last few years. Megan is the best stylist there. My husband is very picky and he loves the way she does his hair so much he followed her from the Stevenson Ranch location. Took my granddaughters and grandson to her and she was great with them. So last month I tried her out and she put color on my roots and gave me highlights. I loved them. Today I came back. Tried to make an appointment online before walking in, so I wouldn't be waiting too long. The website kept saying there was no need to you could just walk-in. Walked into Supercuts for a man's haircut. It was 4:50pm on Sunday, 9/22/19. They close at 6:00pm. There was 1 client. One employee was cutting hair. Another female employee was on her cell phone. She asked if I had an appt. I did not. She replied that they were too busy, so I would have to come back another day. I recall this happened the last time I tried to get a haircut here. I went to another establishment, there were 5 people in front of me. They also closed at 6:00pm. I received a haircut and was home by 5:40pm. WHAT'S WRONG WITH SUPERCUTS IN GRANNERY SQUARE? Calling ahead or using he app to reserve a spot is useless. This is why I hate this place, it's always chaotic. Also when they do women haircuts it takes forever and if their are only 2 stylists forget it. They need to dedicate a person to guy haircuts since they typically take less than 10 minutes. This one is Hit or Miss. The staff is either really friendly and wants to be there and give an attentive haircut or they seem bored and put out by customers. Many times you have to watch what they're doing or they will try to stray from your instructions. I also see a lot of new faces fairly often, telling me that the turnover is high. Whether this is due to haircutting not being a lucrative industry for the worker or due to general worker morale malaise, I'll never know. Then again, other times it's been great; no one in there (sometimes the wait is ungodly long) and I get right into a chair and receive a thorough cut. Best time for this particular store: night time on a weekend or late afternoon on a weekday. read more

CAUTION! Recently moved into area, and so I sought a new hair salon close by. This was the second time I saw this particular hair-stylist. After about 12 minutes into cut, I looked in the mirror and was shocked that she cut off my side-burns and pushed her razor too far on the left side. Obviously a terrible mistake; so then she had to do the same on the right ride, to match. I'm not a mean person, so I don't want her to lose her job. However, it's clear she needs additional training. The first time I visited this salon, the young man cut my hair too short after I requested a light trim. Took my son for a haircut , thought its close and they could take him in the next hour. Lisa cut his hair and did a half ass job. She left some small patches of uncut hair which I didn't see until we got home or I would have complained. I didn't mind she had zero personality. Just cut his hair !!! The fade wasn't blended and the patches left are unacceptable. I will not take him back there and I would not recommend Supercuts esp Lisa to anyone. Perhaps it was only her that sucked. Won't be coming back here. The only stylist available was a male who cut my hair and the entire purpose for sitting down and asking for a #3 (razor guard length) on the sides and back is so you have an even cut on the sides and back. This is not so you gently dance around using it. Commit. Place the shaver against my head and run it up and down. Now my hair is all freaking uneven because he used the scissors and a comb for 80% of the cut and the first thing my wife says is what the hell, did you get a haircut because it looks like you just rolled out of bed. I didn't have my eyeglasses so it's when you really look at the details that I can see how f'ed up this is. Now I gotta pay someone else to fix this. read more

Worst experience ever. Needed a hair cut in a last minute situation, and my regular barber was all booked up. So decided what the heck I'll just walk in & give them a try. I have been to a different Supercuts long time ago and it was a pretty decent hair cut. When I first walked in there was a long line, so I thought it must be ok if they have this many customers waiting for a hair cut. Well I was mistaking. After a very long wait I sat in the chair, she asked how I want my hair to be cut and I explained it to her, and trusted that she know what she was doing. Towards the end I noticed it wasn't what I had explained to her, she assured me that she will make it look the way I want and if any thing needs to be fixed she will fix it. To make a long story short, after prompting her 4 times to fix here and there, I knew it was just not going to work. I was done. Had to leave with a bad hair cut. I was very dissatisfied with the cut. I know it's just hair and it grows back but why do I have to go around with a bad hair cut. I gave a 2 stars because she tried her very best to fix it, but she just wasn't well trained. So after all I ended up at my regular barbers a week later, having to explain this, thank goodness he was able to fix it, and now it looks somewhat decent. read more

No ordinary person could do this bad of a job, it takes some special skill to butcher my low maintenance bob into the worst lopsided 70's mullet so bad that when I went to a professional to fix it, he gasped in horror and could only do a minimal amount of damage control til it grows out. Her name was Bri and she was the Manager, and she was very helpful!
