Located in Shreveport on Pierremont in a shopping center. This is the upscale sister restaurant of Superior Grill (Tex Mex spot on Line). This is probably one of the most expensive and nicest steak spots in the Shreveport- Bossier City area next to 2Johns. They have interior seating and also an outside shaded patio, which is nice. The menu is fairly standard for a higher end steak spot; I got their center cut prime ribeye, and requested a medium rare plus cook; the steak came out to around a medium. Luckily it is difficult to mess up a ribeye so it was decent even with the slight overcook. The meat quality was okay; not great but okay. The seasoning was also a bit odd; I think salt and black pepper would've been fine but it almost seems like the steak was marinaded and also lacked the grilling flavor and outside texture, as there was no outside crust. Their charbroiled oysters were surprisingly tasty. The side Caesar had decent slides of cheese but the dressing for the salad tasted pretty-made and was devoid of any signs of anchovy. The shared sides were a bit lacking; the asparagus was a bit bland, the corn brulee looked odd and watery, the brussel sprouts came out nicely, and the fries looked a bit sad. The crème brulee on the dessert menu came out as expected in both presentation and taste. Overall, this is high end for Shreveport but in terms of bang for the buck quality and flavor, I don't think it holds that high a spot (yes even for Shreveport).

Firstly, service was great. Zero complaints. Friendly, attentive, respectful. Ambiance was cool, we got seated in the back room with a fireplace near the kitchen. It had a cool private club atmosphere but was very casual with some classy music playing. The food was just okay. Me and a friend each got their brunch set which came with a NY Strip, 2 eggs, a very small cup of fruit, and some home style potatoes. The steak was cooked okay. The sear was almost nonexistent for a nice steakhouse of this price range. The seasoning was pretty spot on in terms of salt level. It's not my preferred seasoning/flavor profile, very different than what I make at home. That won't dock any points since the cook was solid. The dessert was a French toast with some berries that had been soaked in sugar to draw out the juices. Unfortunately something in the sauce made it taste like cinnamon cough medicine. French toast was cooked well. A bit disappointing but I have to specify that I was using a $100 voucher so it wasn't hurting the wallet directly. Will probably not be back for the steaks though since they're not my favorite nor style.

While in Louisiana, I figured I'd try out an upscale restaurant for a weekday lunch. I sat at the bar, and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. My server, a true Louisiana native with the thickest accent, gave me a rundown of what's popular on the menu. I opted for the lobster bique and Caesar salad because I already had my heart set on the dessert menu. If I were feeling gluttonous, I would've wolfed down a few slices of their oh-so-fresh bread. However, I behaved and ate one piece. The bique and salad were as expected. Tasty. No complaints. I was excited to see crème brûlée on the menu. Since this is an upscale establishment, I assumed it would be good. My assumption was correct! It was super creamy, but the crisp, sweet melt-in-your-mouth crust was the star. Based on the food, the great service, and the atmosphere, I'll surely return.

This was our second time here, first time during supper. The service was outstanding, from the hostess and manager greeting us, to the waitstaff who served us. I had a 8 oz. prime rib and the wife had a "Baseball" Porkchop with housemade applesauce, creamy potatoes and two greenbeans and a carrot (for color I guess). Both dinners included a salad with house dressing. All tasted delicious. The waiter wasn't satisfied with the doneness of her porkchop and took it back to be baked longer in the oven. I have to mention the bread, it was delicious! Served with real butter, piping hot from the oven.

From the moment we walked in, the warm, upscale ambiance set the tone--dim lighting, rich wood accents, and a buzz of lively conversation. The staff greeted us like old friends, and our server,Melody , was a gem: attentive, knowledgeable, and quick with recommendations. The menu is a carnivore's dream! This place is a must!

Came here for a company dinner. Pricey, as with any upscale steakhouse. The variety if spirits and wine on the menu was impressive. My entrée, the Alaskan Halibut ($57.95) with crab risotto, was delicious! I had some bites of the New York Strip, mac and cheese side, and corn, and they were all tasty. The biggest highlight was the enormous cheesecake for dessert ($10.50). OMG, that was the best cheesecake I've ever eaten, with the thickest graham cookie crust. I'd skip the lobster bisque--very salty with just a few small pieces of lobster. Nice for spread dips though :) Staff was very attentive and polite. The interior is sophisticated and immaculate.

I was taken here for my birthday with some family and friends. We arrived a little early for our reservation so we sat at the bar for a drink while we waited. I ordered the dirty martini and it was good but very strong. Once we were seated we were greeted promptly and the server was super nice, accommodating and had great menu knowledge. It is upscale so expect to pay the price but the doors was amazing. I had a ribeye with grilled asparagus and loaded potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. It was too crowded and the ambience was quite fancy. Lighting was good and the bathroom was clean.

I think this place is best suited for large events in need of a fancy place to celebrate. The interior is dimly lit, and very fancy looking. It would be perfect for a place to commemorate something or someone. The staff is very friendly, and very accommodating. I ordered the Alaskan halibut, which was already pretty expensive. The food itself tasted fine, but it was a little small for $60, and it didn't blow me out of the water in terms of taste in comparison to its price. Again, this is a fine place to celebrate something, but I wouldn't go otherwise, since I think you're really paying for the ambience.

Stopped in at Superior for a business lunch and we sat in the bar. The restaurant is a nod to old style steak houses, the bar itself has a nice relaxed look with plenty of windows and room to people watch inside or outside The lunch menu has plenty of options and a variety that will make you come back again . I started with the superior salad which comes with special house dressing. No complaints here, an ample size only caution i would give is the greens were highly dressed which doesnt bother me but others may not appreciate For entree I had the trout amandine , great size filet with a side of cheesy grits Service was fantastic - overall a great enviroment and lunch to talk business My guest

Superior Steakhouse doesn't miss. That is as long as everyone has not purchased all of the oysters before I arrive I came in specifically for the chargrilled oysters (I mean just look at the picture!) and had a great dining experience. Saturday night there was live music in the bar area creating a true vibe. The bartender was very professional and was such a nice lady. She seemed to give every customer a personal experience (which is truly a gift!)

She never mentioned that there was a train track and it blew its horn every hour. Although she knew we had a baby with us. None of us slept. The worst part of it all was her condescending manner. They ran out of drinking water and I asked for more they only had two small bottles left. The staff said she had to go out to get more. It was 10pm so told her that's ok. Then asked to have more in the morning. They still didn't have it in morning so I said that's ok and left. Lisa later that they left me a long message saying how she traveled the world and always knew what she needed. That it was my fault for not knowing. She then continued to say that her staff went above and beyond. I told her above and beyond is already having water and getting more of it before telling someone that they don't have it. I've never stayed in a place where they ran out of water. Also it was way dirtier and worn then the photos. Lisa has much room to improve as a host
