I have to come to shreveport once a month. I always stay at the horseshoe but i would definatly recomend staying somewhere else. This place done gone to. Every time i come its something else. But it is a cheap place to stay and i do feel safe. The hotel sucks!! Also asked for well done steak. Theres no microwaves in the rooms so i got screwed for this overly priced meal

Our server, Dee, was amazing. The atmosphere was great. All of the food dishes were amazing. This was an excellent dinner party from start to finish.

This was our first time visiting Horseshoe casino and dining at the steakhouse. We had a reservation and still had to wait a little bit for our table. I think they may have been understaffed on the night that we dined in. We were seated in a booth that was by the window. It was nice being able to look out the window at the river. For an appetizer, my husband ordered a caesar salad and it was really good! The croutons were perfect and overall, the salad had great flavor. We did enjoy the trio of butter and warm bread that came as well. For entrees, I ordered the prime rib and my husband got a filet Oscar style. We both enjoyed our meals and that each had good seasoning and flavoring. For dessert, we ordered the bread pudding and this was the star of the show. As stuffed as we were, we still managed to save some room for this. It was delectable and we enjoyed having the leftovers of this as well! Overall, we enjoyed our time here. We had good service and it was a relatively quiet evening in the restaurant.

We came here on a weekend on a Saturday and did an open table reservation and had openings for a 5:15pm and the rest did not have it. I wanted to use my $100 dollar celebration for Diamond status and plus I had $25 dollars worth of need. The place is really dark inside, but you get a nice view of the lake, but at that time it was already dark so you could not see the sunset. This place only opens at night time too. The place was busy, but the people were good at refilling the water and giving the break out. My wife and I ordered and my quick comments 1. Seafood pasta - very good and big portions 2. Pork chop - big piece and was not dry at all 3. Escargot - must have 4. Ooey Gooey Overall we spent $125 dollars on the nose and was able to have our meal comped and eat for free. Service was excellent and would recommend giving this a shot.

I ordered steak salad, was asked how I wanted it cooked. "Pink". It was a weird gray color like it has been sitting out, no pink at all. Salad was delicious, so I just ate it. Server asked, "you didn't like the steak?" I replied, no, I ordered pink. They offered no exchange, dessert, credit, nada. Too bad, because I have have good steak here or I wd have given a one star.

I chose the Steak Salad because it was the most affordable option I could find that came with steak. Plus I didn't need to purchase a $13 side because it basically came with one. SO glad I chose this, it was really good and fresh and the tenderloin melted in my mouth. Cream brule was also very good and drinks were strong.. no need for seconds! Full and happy on our date night!

Lobster Tail with drawn butter and Au gratin potatoes. Fantastic!

I came to Jack Binion's on a mission to get a lobster tail and I succeeded! I also got the au gratin potatoes and a Bulleit rye old fashioned. The lobster tail with the drawn butter was great. The potatoes were delicious. The old fashioned was one of the best I've had. Not too sweet and not too heavy on the bitters, which is how I like them. The lobster tail was pricey but it did say market price on the menu and I didn't ask. For the price I would probably try a steak next time. This meal was easily the best thing I ate on my road trip.

This is our go to restaurant while in Bossier. Best service and great kitchen. In 4 days we had two dinners here. JD was our server 1st night I have to say his outstanding service made the evening perfect. I tried the Pork Chop it was delicious came with a sweet potato mash and Brussel sprouts. Tiki hubby had the prime rib came with a blue cheese roasted onion and baby carrots. Prime was good. On our 2nd visit our server Louis was unbelievable, in meeting our every need. Tiki hubby and I shared a wedge and seafood campanile. The wedge was delicious thick cold lettuce with a creamy blue cheese and cheese crumble. The pasta had a creamy sauce full of crab, crawfish, sausage, with a large tiger prawn on top. Not one bad bite. Hot fresh bread with 3 different spreads hit the table as soon as you sit down. Views of the River make a pleasant ambiance while enjoying your meal.

Servic and food were extraordinary. We received unintrusive but prompt service from our wait staff. Food presentation, quality and temperature were superb. We highly recommend the New Orleans Barbequed Shrimp as an appetizer. The only issue that detracted from the entire experience, making the rating 4 out of 5 stars was the noise level. In seating guests it appeared they were not spaced out well and loaded into sections making things very poising at times. We will be back.

Me and hubs visited for our anniversary. My husband got a pasta dish with shrimp, crab meat , and andouille sausage. It was very good and we were happy with it. I got the scallops. I was not a fan. Scallops are so delicate and they're wonderful just belong scallops. Light , airy , buttery they just speak for themselves! The risotto was odd. Definitely don't need the squash lol. I think classic risotto is perfect and I wanted the rest of my asparagus. The manhattan cocktail was delicious! There was no alcohol spared in that drink! We also enjoyed the bread and butter tray complimentary to our meal. I like the garlic one the best. I will also say the staff was A+ Your staff and cooks are all amazing but the dishes need to be tweaked a little. It doesn't have to be over the top to be delicious.

    Crab Bisque
    Sol H.

A slightly more upscale restaurant hidden within The Horsehoe Casino Resort. The hostess, servers, and waiters were all very cordial and polite. I had a great customer service experience here I ordered the Crab Bisque and the Surf and Turf (7oz filet and lobster tail) The complementary bread was a good portion size and came with 3 different butters. I enjoyed the garlicky one the most. The Crab Bisque had a much different flavor profile than what I would usually expect. It had good flavor, but it was weak. There was a lot of crab meat inside, so that's a plus. The surf and turf was probably the worst part of this meal. The steak was not seasoned whatsoever and was overcooked. The size of the lobster tail made me happy at first, but it had no flavor either. Overall a disappointing experience since I had higher hopes for the food.

I had a barrel ages old fashioned. The bread was fresh and tasty. The menu has quite a variety...steak, chicken, seafood...something for everyone. We were going for steak. A filet was ordered and two of us ordered the 14 oz ribeye. From what I saw on other tables steak seems to be a favorite. The waitress came back and took salad orders, how we wanted the meat cooked plus another drink if needed. I ordered medium well. After a bit i order another old fashioned. The first one went smooth and good. Not too much ice, just the right amount of liquor. Chilled and good. The wedge salad comes out and it's covering the plate. Thousand island dressing plus real bacon bits. A nice touch. Just enough dressing. After a bit the ribeye arrives. It too covers a portion of then plate. it's a bit peppered but cooked right. The waitress asked us to cut into the meat to verify it was cooked right, they all were cooked as ordered. Truly a treat. The steak is gone, a little bread is left on the table, half the old fashioned is remaining. Definitely will return in the future if I'm in Shreveport. Between the service and quality of the food it's a must visit if you're in town.

Even the "bar wines by the glass" are good and the "pours" are generous. If you like red snapper, and who doesn't, their choices are all worth your time. The bread was warm and tasty. Bartenders Paige and Kelsey kept our wine glasses full and made our time there memorable. We split a strawberry cheesecake for desert - a huge piece, very good. Since we were there on a Saturday late afternoon, we listened to Randy entertain us at the piano - a very respectable performance! Thank you, all!!! Exceptional Service from Madison!…read more My experience at Superior Steakhouse (Pierremont) was absolutely top-tier, and our waitress Madison made it even better. From the moment we were seated, she was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Madison demonstrated strong product knowledge--she explained the menu clearly, made excellent recommendations, and ensured our meals were cooked exactly as ordered. She maintained consistent table presence without being intrusive, which shows true hospitality skill. Our drinks stayed filled, timing between courses was perfect, and she handled everything with confidence and grace. What stood out most was her positive attitude and attention to detail. She anticipated our needs before we had to ask and made us feel valued as guests. That level of service elevates the entire dining experience. Our waiter was Anthony, his greeting was extremely warm and friendly! With it being a Tuesday night and the restaurant closing at 10:00, we were among only a handful of other parties there at the time. Around 9:45-10:00 we ended up being the only couple in the dining area. Some waiters and waitresses were beginning/finishing up their closing duties. Which we did not mind at all! But Anthony make sure to apologize for it which was kind. We reassure him that we completely understood and that it was no bother to us. We made small talk with him, and ordered our food. Me and my husband, love to try new things at places, so typically we order a protein and several sides to share. We ended up going with the ribeye medium, and when Anthony realized that we would be sharing, he even had the chef slice it in half before bringing it out. Which I thought was extremely thoughtful! I also had a wedge salad, with ranch! Our sides consisted of the au gratin potatoes, crispy, Brussel, sprouts, and DRUM ROLL PLEASE.. creamed corn brûlés!!! if you haven't had it, you must tonight! I literally drank what was left of it, like a soup!! everything was prepared perfectly irregardless of the time of day! We finished eating about 10:15-10:20 and told Anthony we were ready for the check! He reassured us that there was no rush, but we wanted to be courteous of the time it was and when he offered dessert we politely declined. When he went to go gather our check and bought our food he came back out with an anniversary- dessert with literal fireworks I was not expecting it at all, especially considering them already being closed for the evening! It was so special and he truly added the perfect touch to cap off our evening together. Thank you to Superior and Anthony for being the truly Superior go-to in Shreveport Louisiana! It was a lovely evening!

The great news is that Ben still works here and you would do quite well to request him as your server. It was his recommendation to get crusted blue cheese over my ribeye and I've enjoyed it that way ever since. Since we decided to drop in last minute we had James as our server and he did a fine job for us. $50 for a ribeye. $11 for a wedge salad (yet even more blue cheese....LOL) and a side of mashed potatoes ($12), and Brussels sprouts ($12) were more than enough to share. It was late in the evening and we were one of the last tables seated. A few of us in the party had comped dinners. My wife and I charged it to the room. Was about $93 and we left a $20 tip. The ribeye was just slightly overcooked, and the wait time was a little longer than usual, hence the missing fifth star. But you'll want to make reservations here before you arrive to ensure a seat as it's worth a visit and a very classy place.
