Have been back a few times since my first visit... steak has been better cooked since then. The roasted corn is phenomenal! I usually request to sit in Richard's section. Service always 10/10! It doesn't compare to other steakhouses but there's also not much competition

Glowing menu; the Cosmo drink and McCallan double

We went here as we had $100 dollars worth of food vouchers and since we were very hungry we decided to eat here. This place is on the first floor across from the sport bar on the left hand side facing the casino. The atmosphere was very nice and fancy. Since it is a fine dining experience expect to pay between $35 to $55 dollars per meal. Service was excellent as our server was very friendly and kind. The bread selection was cool as they gave us three different butters, pesto, bacon and the regular one. The bread definitely filled us up already. For appetizers we ordered the quail grits which was excellent and would recommend as they give you some pretty size chunks. For meal we ordered the Chilean sea bass which was their special and I ordered the pork chop. My pork chop was alright as it was pretty dry on some of the areas and pretty salty. I would should have stuck with the lamb chops. My wife's sea bass was good however, but only had a little bit. The food was filling. Overall, I was really liked the service, food was okay. Would I come here again, probably if I had the dining coupon.

Okay so, I wanted too do a little gambling. Took a quick trip down to the El Dorado ( do not get a room here) ! We had some dinner vouchers & we decided upon The vintage. Server (Ben) was wonderful, very knowledgeable 5/5 The food was really bland ( we ordered the lamb and a ribeye ) with some mushrooms and loaded potatoes. 3/5 . The potatoes were delicious tho. Also ordered a BUBBLING French onion soup that was not bubbling it was very much like warm. But they do have this really cool oil and vinegar dispenser on every table & they give out complementary bread and a trio of spreadable butter. I ordered my favorite for dessert which is Crème Brûlée and it was soooo grainy like the sugar hadn't dissolved all the way. Overall experience is 3/5 If it wasn't for the ambience and my server Ben I would have given this place 1 Thank you Ben.

Had a business dinner here and we were blown away. The menu lights up!!! The wine list was incredible and our waiter, Ben, was basically a younger James Earl Jones. I just wanted him to read the menu to me. Every single thing was delicious. The starter bread with three butters - plain, pesto, and bacon apple, I think we had four baskets of bread!! Every person ordered something different and the presentation was top notch and everyone raved over their meals. The manager, Boris, treated us to a sampling of desserts, which were all amazing in their own right. Will definitely be back here on future trips. Excellent experience and service.

The service was great. From outside to the waiter inside, to the cocktails, to the dinner. It was great

The Vintage is located in El Dorado Casino, and is definitely a must-try if you are in the mood for a good steak. Yes, it is on the pricey side, but that's to be expected with a fine dining establishment. I made reservations and getting seated a bit early was not a problem. Service was attentive from beginning to end. The waiter was thorough and detailed with answering questions about the menu items. Since it was dark inside the restaurant, I was surprised to have the menus light up when opened. What a neat idea! More restaurants should do this for dinner service, especially with the dim lighting. There was a variety of complimentary breads along with butter (regular, garlic herb, & honey). I had to resist from devouring all the tasty bread and butter before our meal began! For appetizers, the escargot and chilled crab claws were fresh, prepared well and a good flavor. The crab claws were a good size and had so much meat that it took me at least two bites to finish. The shining star of the meal was the 24 oz porterhouse steak! The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, with each juicy bite creating a flavor explosion in your mouth! Party party!!! To seal the deal, the creme brûlée was a sweet ending to our meal. In the mood for incredible steak?! I recommend eating here for special occasions and making reservations to ensure prompt seating. Our dining experience here was impeccable from beginning to end and I would do it all over again!

This restaurant has always been a favorite of ours and our most recent visit on 2-16-19 was no exception. The whole place is very nice. The atmosphere and ambiance always provide for a great experience. One feature we really like are the menus - they light up! We've been in there before when the lighting was low so having the light from the menus helped a lot. Marco, our waiter this visit, was absolutely wonderful. He answered every question we had and was knowledgeable with the wine selection. He had us laughing a few times which added to the experience. Someone in our party had a food allergy and he helped accommodate that without any problems. Our food came out in a timely manner and it was excellent. The wedge salad, french onion soup, and quail appetizer are some of our staples each time we visit. They were just as good this visit as any other time we've come. The bread basket and butter trio were very good as well. We also ordered steaks which were cooked to our request, and one person at our table ordered the chicken and said it was very juicy. The only thing I noticed different were the garlic mashed potatoes. I get those every time I come, but for some reason they tasted sweeter this visit. I don't know if the recipe changed or what, but I was hoping for a more savory flavor. The serving portion for their sides is huge, so I was able to split the mashed potatoes with a friend and still have plenty. We will continue visiting whenever we're in town. Great experience once again!

Very romantic restaurant. Waiter had a super deep voice; I was surprised how deep it when he first talk...sorry, off topic. The menu lights up!!! This is great! I hate reading menus in the dark. Here's what we ordered: Snapper Orleans ($42): with lump crab cream sauce. Also served with spinach and sliced potatoes. This was delicious!!! Highly recommend you order this. 5/5 10 oz filet mignon ($42): this was on the dry side. 3/5 Au gratin potatoes ($5): very good price and portion. 5/5 Creme brûlée ($?): very tasty! I enjoyed the fruit on the side. 5/5 Definitely will come back if I'm back at this casino.

I had a barrel ages old fashioned. The bread was fresh and tasty. The menu has quite a variety...steak, chicken, seafood...something for everyone. We were going for steak. A filet was ordered and two of us ordered the 14 oz ribeye. From what I saw on other tables steak seems to be a favorite. The waitress came back and took salad orders, how we wanted the meat cooked plus another drink if needed. I ordered medium well. After a bit i order another old fashioned. The first one went smooth and good. Not too much ice, just the right amount of liquor. Chilled and good. The wedge salad comes out and it's covering the plate. Thousand island dressing plus real bacon bits. A nice touch. Just enough dressing. After a bit the ribeye arrives. It too covers a portion of then plate. it's a bit peppered but cooked right. The waitress asked us to cut into the meat to verify it was cooked right, they all were cooked as ordered. Truly a treat. The steak is gone, a little bread is left on the table, half the old fashioned is remaining. Definitely will return in the future if I'm in Shreveport. Between the service and quality of the food it's a must visit if you're in town.

From the moment we were seated, she was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Madison demonstrated strong product knowledge--she explained the menu clearly, made excellent recommendations, and ensured our meals were cooked exactly as ordered. She maintained consistent table presence without being intrusive, which shows true hospitality skill. Our drinks stayed filled, timing between courses was perfect, and she handled everything with confidence and grace. What stood out most was her positive attitude and attention to detail. She anticipated our needs before we had to ask and made us feel valued as guests. That level of service elevates the entire dining experience. Our waiter was Anthony, his greeting was extremely warm and friendly! With it being a Tuesday night and the restaurant closing at 10:00, we were among only a handful of other parties there at the time. Around 9:45-10:00 we ended up being the only couple in the dining area. Some waiters and waitresses were beginning/finishing up their closing duties. Which we did not mind at all! But Anthony make sure to apologize for it which was kind. We reassure him that we completely understood and that it was no bother to us. We made small talk with him, and ordered our food. Me and my husband, love to try new things at places, so typically we order a protein and several sides to share. We ended up going with the ribeye medium, and when Anthony realized that we would be sharing, he even had the chef slice it in half before bringing it out. Which I thought was extremely thoughtful! I also had a wedge salad, with ranch! Our sides consisted of the au gratin potatoes, crispy, Brussel, sprouts, and DRUM ROLL PLEASE.. creamed corn brûlés!!! if you haven't had it, you must tonight! I literally drank what was left of it, like a soup!! everything was prepared perfectly irregardless of the time of day! We finished eating about 10:15-10:20 and told Anthony we were ready for the check! He reassured us that there was no rush, but we wanted to be courteous of the time it was and when he offered dessert we politely declined. When he went to go gather our check and bought our food he came back out with an anniversary- dessert with literal fireworks I was not expecting it at all, especially considering them already being closed for the evening! It was so special and he truly added the perfect touch to cap off our evening together. Thank you to Superior and Anthony for being the truly Superior go-to in Shreveport Louisiana! It was a lovely evening!

The bar was open so we had a couple. Trivia was getting fired up and everyone was hungry so we left. Back on the following Wednesday we sat in the Continental Room, just off the bar to the left when you go into the establishment. I was thinking...it would be packed. The three of us were the only folks eating at around 6:30 pm. The waiter comes out, asks what we want to drink. Beer for two of us and wine for my boss. I scan the menu and there are a lot of choices in when it comes to steak. Two of ordered the ribeye and my boss ordered the filet. The dining room is small with several tables for a family, some dudes eating after work or a cool place for a date. Maybe a little dated but the service was very good. The waiter was on top of the drinks and the food. Salads came out almost immediately. I had the wedge salad with Italian dressing. Very fresh lettuce and not too much dressing. Everyone else was happy with their salads. I ordered another Yuengling (in a bottle-nothing on tap) and the steaks were out shortly thereafter. The meat covered a lot of the plate. I ordered medium well and it came a little under done but was still very good. Bang for the buck you can't do better. The au gratin potatoes were ok. I have never had potatoes like that before. I would try them again. The Cub itself has been there since 1939. Definitely a dive bar feel. Brick building, solid and well built. Definitely will try for a repeat if/when I'm back in Shreveport.
