Chicken sandwich

A little change up in 1800 Prime. The new menu has some creative smoked items like hot links, brisket and meatloaf. The rolls are gone so we ordered corn bread with honey butter they added catfish to go with thier fried shrimp unusually order. The steaks are Prime and the fillets are great. Never a wait but their should be. This place is a sleeper spot people don't know exists. Highly recommend. The new menu has some lower prices items. Like a loaded hot link hoagie.

It's absolutely delicious. Perfect atmosphere. Food is the best I've ever had at a steakhouse. The waitstaff (ROMONA) is outstanding. She's literally the best server I've ever had. Y'all need to ask for her!! She'll treat you good! The lamb lollipops are great. The bbq shrimp is go gooood. Love the steak! Love the mushrooms! This place is just one of my favorite restaurants. Perfection!

It was March 2019, and I was in Shreveport, LA on a business trip. I almost never visit chain restaurants when I travel as I like to sample the local fare. So at the end of a 5.5 hour drive and a 12 hour workday, I was famished. As I was staying at a hotel in Bossier City, and in the mood for a steak; therefore, after a quick look at Yelp, I chose to eat at 1800 Prime Steakhouse located inside the Boomtown Casino. I arrived shortly after the restaurant opened and was courteously greeted at the door. Although I did not have a reservation, I was immediately seated as the restaurant was not crowded at all. My server Thomas (pronounced Toe-mos) arrived almost immediately and took my drink order. As I waited for my drink, I perused the menu and took in the feel and decor of the space. Wood is a common theme, as the bar, booths, exposed ceiling trusses and floor are all wood. However, to break up the wooden monotony, the art on the walls livens up the space. Being from New Orleans, I appreciated the many pieces of New Orleans themed art on the walls and it almost felt as if I was eating at a restaurant in the French Quarter. Although I did not sit at the bar, it looked very inviting and I could easily see myself enjoying my meal here. My drink came quickly and I had already made up my mind regarding my order. Thomas brought out enough bread for two people that I somewhat greedily and enthusiastically devoured all by myself. The piping hot bread basket contained 2 yeast rolls, a cheddar cheese roll and cinnamon roll that could make Cinnabon jealous. The rolls were also served with a sampling of four delicious butters which included regular butter, basil herb butter, sun-dried tomato butter and cinnamon butter. Hands down, these were the best rolls and butters I have ever eaten in my life. The house salad was the perfect size and gets an A+ for presentation; and kudos to them for including avocado slices. My side order of steamed avocado was only three pieces, but they were almost as big as small cigars; therefore, it as enough. However, 1800 Prime is a steakhouse and this is why I chose to dine here. My 6 oz. dry-aged filet (cooked medium rare) was perfect and ranks among the best steaks I've ever eaten. Topped with fried onion rings and a savory butter, this steak was incredible. Tender and devoid of fat, this was a truly enjoyable steak. Having eaten all the bread and every scrap of every dish, I was unable to partake in any of the dessert offerings as I was literally stuffed. Thomas was a great server and checked on me frequently throughout my meal. I was surprised to see that the restaurant is only open Thursday through Sunday; however, I will definitely plan my next trip to coincide with their schedule.

A wonderful Christmas dinner. The queen ribeye (Pittsburgh style rare) with baked potato and grilled zucchini was amazing. The 1800 margarita is a must try and the chocolate cake was heavenly! This was an amazing meal. The staff was exceptional and the food beyond compare. Thank you 1800 Ptine Steakhouse

This is overpriced and the chef should be working at McDonalds. Overcooked steaks and the bread was raw when I dined there.

This place is pretty good. Service is outstanding. The waitress came by and took our drink orders…read more Another waiter asked if we wanted some bread for the table. Yes and yes. I had a barrel ages old fashioned. The bread was fresh and tasty. The menu has quite a variety...steak, chicken, seafood...something for everyone. We were going for steak. A filet was ordered and two of us ordered the 14 oz ribeye. From what I saw on other tables steak seems to be a favorite. The waitress came back and took salad orders, how we wanted the meat cooked plus another drink if needed. I ordered medium well. After a bit i order another old fashioned. The first one went smooth and good. Not too much ice, just the right amount of liquor. Chilled and good. The wedge salad comes out and it's covering the plate. Thousand island dressing plus real bacon bits. A nice touch. Just enough dressing. After a bit the ribeye arrives. It too covers a portion of then plate. it's a bit peppered but cooked right. The waitress asked us to cut into the meat to verify it was cooked right, they all were cooked as ordered. Truly a treat. The steak is gone, a little bread is left on the table, half the old fashioned is remaining. Definitely will return in the future if I'm in Shreveport. Between the service and quality of the food it's a must visit if you're in town.

Not a home run but they were decently made. I ordered the beef song appetizer. It was tasty but the Asian flavors felt out of place. For my entree I had the snapper Hollis. The snapper was well seasoned and flavorful however a touch overcooked which made it dry. The crawfish and spinach risotto was creamy and delicious. I ordered the bread pudding for dessert. This was by far the most unpleasant part of the meal. The bread pudding was dense and lacked flavor. Overall, a pretty good experience. Although for the quality of food, I would say quite overpriced.

I attended with a local friend and he confirmed this is authentic. The experience: Friendly staff, a long restaurant with a bar section, followed by the condiments section, followed by a whole other bar somehow? I didn't poke my head back there but I found that intriguing. More on the condiments: They come with any sandwich. I probably took unfair advantage by taking enough lettuce, tomatoes, and onions to make an entire salad. I then asked for dressing, which they happily provided at no charge. And sandwiches? Do get. Delicious bread. The default bread appears to be the French - you could opt for their sourdough if you like - and it's not toasted. I love soft bread, and the po' boy was divine as a result. I loved the boudin. I loved that they have alligator sausage in multiple places on the menu. I loved everything about this place except the fact that summer means just about all of the beers were light, and I had to hunt and peck to find beers more my style. Which I did. And maybe those beers are lingering as I type this review. But BeauxJax gave me the warm, fuzzy, welcoming feeling I love in a restaurant. A great stop in Bossier. Worth a detour from Shreveport. The great news is that Ben still works here and you would do quite well to request him as your server. It was his recommendation to get crusted blue cheese over my ribeye and I've enjoyed it that way ever since. Since we decided to drop in last minute we had James as our server and he did a fine job for us. $50 for a ribeye. $11 for a wedge salad (yet even more blue cheese....LOL) and a side of mashed potatoes ($12), and Brussels sprouts ($12) were more than enough to share. It was late in the evening and we were one of the last tables seated. A few of us in the party had comped dinners. My wife and I charged it to the room. Was about $93 and we left a $20 tip. The ribeye was just slightly overcooked, and the wait time was a little longer than usual, hence the missing fifth star. But you'll want to make reservations here before you arrive to ensure a seat as it's worth a visit and a very classy place.

Exceptional Service from Madison!…read more My experience at Superior Steakhouse (Pierremont) was absolutely top-tier, and our waitress Madison made it even better. From the moment we were seated, she was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Madison demonstrated strong product knowledge--she explained the menu clearly, made excellent recommendations, and ensured our meals were cooked exactly as ordered. She maintained consistent table presence without being intrusive, which shows true hospitality skill. Our drinks stayed filled, timing between courses was perfect, and she handled everything with confidence and grace. What stood out most was her positive attitude and attention to detail.
