I have never had a Doctor be more attentive! He is very patient and takes his time explaining sicknesses, treatments, medications, etc. Typically doctors rush in & out of their patient HOLDING CELLS. Dr. Lee and Superkids Pediatrics is awesome - our son saw Dr. Lee from the day he was born. We just recently moved out of state and wish we could have brought Dr. Lee with us! Dr. Lee is patient, listens to our concerns, and spends as much time as needed to help answer our questions and make sure all our questions and concerns are addressed. As first time parents we are probably overly sensitive and we had questions on weekends and evenings a few times, and Dr. Lee got back to us quickly by phone on our questions and concerns. His office is also very patient with us - we are horrible with remembering to bring our son's vaccination card with us to our appointments and they didn't mind writing new vaccination cards for us multiple times which we greatly appreciate. My daughter is afraid of going to the doctors but Superkids make her visits a lot better...even though she's still scared. the nurses and staff are extremely patient and nice and Dr. Lee is very thorough. Dr Lee is an amazing pediatrician that every pediatrician should strive to become. He is very attentive , patient, and genuinely cares about my son's well being. I've emailed and called him during weekends and even during odd hours of the day and he is always very responsive and thorough with his replies. His staff is amazing as well. Even though I have insurance at Kaiser Permanente and pediatrician appointments are included as part of my monthly premium, I still go to Dr Lee and pay out of pocket for the visits because it is so worth it. read more

Doctor Lee is very patient and very knowledgeable! My daughter was sick before the long weekend. Doctor Lee was taking my calls on Friday night and answer my questions. And he wouldn't mind me calling him on weekends. When the kid is sick and we are helpless, especially the long weekend is coming up, Doctor Lee definitely calmed me down and helped my daughter recover. Good doctor and really cares for the patients! What an amazing doctor! His office is VERY clean. Although they are busy, they do a great job of moving you into a room. I think we've always been the only ones in the office. If you call and have a question, Dr. Lee will ALWAYS call back. In fact, one time I called with a minor question but then left my phone off. He called back three times that night until he reached me. We've switched around between several different offices and I would have to say that Dr. Lee is hands down the best pediatrician we've been to. Most recently, we were at Coastal Kids in Newport, which I thought was decent except extremely pricey, and the wait time there was terrible in both the initial waiting room and exam room. Dr. Lee on the contrary has a friendly and organized staff, his office is the cleanest I've been to (maybe a coincidence but the receptionist wiped down and sanitized the toys and benches every time i visited), wait time is minimal, and Dr. Lee has incredible bedside manner, thoroughness and a very impressive way with kids. Take it from someone with 3 crazy kiddos all 5 and under. Plus, I didn't feel gouged after paying with cash due to my high deductible PPO. Thank you Dr. Lee! read more

As a first time mom it was difficult to find the perfect doctor for my baby boy. I switched him doctors about 5 times. I was so unhappy with the previous doctors, because they were careless, it was difficult to be seen and they didn't answer my questions and rushed me out. I'm glad I found what I was looking for with Dr. Lee. He answers all my questions, concerns takes his time with my baby. His very caring, efficient, knowledgeable. Its very easy to book appointments. My baby is 4 months and got sick on a Friday with the flu, he called me on Sunday to make sure he was okay. I never have met a doctor to care so much for his patients to go out of his way to call on the weekends or whenever you need him. His staff is very friendly. I could not be happier to have him as my baby's doctor. I drive 25 minutes to get to his office but its worth it. I would recommend him!! read more

I see all these raving reviews below and wonder what went wrong. I am just here to share my experience. Relocating from a different city, I was in search of a good pediatrician and found superkids. The doctor is very patient and listens to you but I found the care coordination extremely poor, especially the nurses and staff. Once I called the office with a question during normal office hours and nobody returned my call even after calling twice. Once they were running out of vaccines even though they knew I was going to get my baby for a well child visit. I decided to leave and come after few days and as I was about to step out they suddenly found out they had one vaccine remaining, which I think is an example of poor care coordination. And the nurses? I don't know where to start. The nurse measured my babies height making him lie down on bed with a paper sheet beneath. Now which child doesn't wriggle and move??? The paper was all crumpled beneath when she marked the height. After I picked up my baby she straightened the paper and measured the height. I mentally laughed at this stupidity! It looked like she had no experience handling kids and was half engrossed in her long open hair!?! Weight and height measurements are so important, the indicators of how your child is doing and I don't think any doctor's office should do the measurements haphazardly. After the vaccine I asked her to hand over the paper work to me in the room itself, so that I could put the file in my bag, then pick up my baby and leave (I was carrying my baby alone!..and wouldn't have been able to keep the file inside once I carried the baby) I waited and waited with a fussy, crying child in the room and no one came. I just walked out and saw the file (with PHI!) lying on the reception counter and everyone was busy doing other stuff. And there I drew the line. That was my last visit there. I found a very nice doctor now, with a very busy but coordinated practice and thats a relief! Oh, and every visit the doctor brought in a student int eh room to learn (probably a nurse). Now, may be other s are comfortable with it, but I am not and also I find it rude to ask someone to go away as well. Also the doctor came in asking everytime- what are you here for? Aren't they suppose to know the well child visit schedules? It just shows unpreparedness. If this practice works for you then great, If someone from the office reads this they can learn and improve! read more

So as a newbie, I was extremely impressed by the staff when I first called in to see if it's possible for my 3 yr old son to see Dr Lee same day and it was almost 3pm (the clinic closed at 5!) Layla was very professional and so nice on the phone. After hearing that I've been calling around and turned down by a few 5* pediatricians (I found on Yelp and Thanks God for that to happen) she had nurse Megan help me and gave my son the last appt I supposed bc we were the last one to leave the office later on. After hanging up the phone I felt so delighted with the experience I had with super sweet and helpful nurse. Okay, so that was only over the phone and I already had good feeling about this clinic. But sometimes in reality things can turn out differently. So lets see if it's really as positive as i thought. When I showed up at the place, woooooow I've never been to such a nice place. The moment i got in the building, i already fell in love with the structure and here i was standing inside the office, i was thrilled by the warm, cozy interior settings. From the wall paint, to the floor, office furnitures, bookshelves, toys, everything here just stole my heart! (Fyi, i have been switching pedi for my son like changing clothes! I can't even remember or keep track with it anymore since he was born, from Asian to American Docs who I got referred and found on yelp w/ 5* No ONE, No CLINIC made me happy yet!) just exactly like description in some review that I read earlier, and of course cannot exclude the 2 super friendly, sweet, helpful, pro etc ladies . Layla gave me stack of paperwork to fill out but the very first page I saw my insurance break down written in detail and that instantly made me feel so easy bc she did her homework, she knew how to handle insurance! Yay, i did not have to start this whole process "okay this is how my insurance works..blah blah blah." For the past few years, my husband's company changed to the HSA type but it's still PPO, I always had problem with other clinics bc they had no idea how this type works or bc they were lazy to do their homework or bc they just loved collecting $ regardless my plan required no copay they still wanted copay. I had to explain to them on n on how it works and even had the Ins rep confirm w/ them. How ignorant, unpro, lazy, incompetent, and annoying front desk staffs were at prev places! Anyhow, time to meet Dr Lee. We did not have to wait that long to see him. Needless to say about Dr Lee bc other positive reviews about him already tell it all. I am here to confirm! Well I believe that he would go extra mile for your little one if you have other concerns besides the main purpose. Like mine, my son was supposed to be seen for fever and checking for infection but I raised my concern about his wee wee hurts all the time, Dr Lee didn't hesitate to exam him. Dr even drew picture along with his explanation to make sure I completely understood what he meant. With my son's prev pedi, she would tell me to make another appt for it so she could charge my Ins! such a blood sucking evil doctor. Oy oy, too many bad experiences with prev pedis, who i called evil docs. Doctor Lee, You are really awesome. I like his style of working: keeping things within the clinic. Anyways, I've said this many times and like other review writers "wish that I knew him sooner" but rather late than never, I have finally found the right Dr for my son after so many searchings, switchings, referrings. I hope every wonderful thing about this clinic would not change, if there is, hopefully only for the better, not worse so I can keep coming. The reason i said this was due to the fact that my son's prev pedis were not that bad, that's why i got referred to but gradually they became slobby and slobbier! As for now, i will stick with this clinic as long I can regardless of the distance and heavy traffic bc it's worthy. This is just my thinking, the name "Super kids pediatrics" is truly appropriate. read more

Dr. Lee was our pediatrician for our newborn. He was kind, caring, and very thorough about everything. I never left the office wondering or in question because he answered every question I had. I am sad to say that we elected to leave because of insurance. A truly amazing doctor! Can't thank my friend enough for referring me to him. Dr.Lee is a remarkable individual in that he is unlike the current breed of "Any more questions?" while doing the whole half-rising out of the chair charade! He takes the time to really explain stuff to you, follows up with any information you requested and generally has his mind focused on the patient. Dr. Andrew Lee has been taking care of our daughter since she was few months old. Now she's almost 3. I wish Dr. Lee would take adults as patients as well! He has the best bedside manner I've ever seen in any doctor. It is so apparent that he truly cares about the patients and their family. He is very humble, thorough and competent. Like the other reviewer said, he sits down with you, which is refreshing (previous pediatrician did not) and he is there until all your concerns are addressed. The nurses have been wonderful as well. The only knock is the front desk staff. They do the job but are not the friendliest. Also there was a mistake in the scheduling and while I was confident it wasn't my fault, she also felt that way. I did not appreciate her attitude but Dr. Lee was so gracious and apologized and even waived the copay, even after I told him it's not necessary.
