Came here with a large party around dinner time for a going away party for a coworker. At the time of me making this review the dinner is $35.99 a person. Overall, I'd give this spot a 3.5-4 out of 5. The meats were decent but it didn't particularly blow me away. But the service here is okay and the price is pretty reasonable compared to other places. Anyways... try it out if you like. :)

I went at 2:29 and just missed the lunch deal which was a bummer! The food was honestly okay but they give you very good portions which get you. You can get half the portion of meat which is nice. The marinated pork and beef was our fav. The server was very nice and changed our grill very often. There are plenty of seats dispose it being a friday

I hadn't tried this place previously because of the low reviews but i was pleasantly surprised. Pretty reasonable prices for 2 hr all you can eat and the sauces were nice. The service was super fast and friendly. It wasn't too smoky and they had some tvs playing K-pop songs.

the vibe in here is chill, theres a lot of seating but be ready to come out smeelllliiinnn like meat bc they dont have the best ventilation. i always come at night and go home right after so i dont mind hehe. service is good, super kind and they're very attentive of when you need a grill swap. the price is lower than other kbbq's i've been to!! and the meat is good! the spicy versions of the bulqogi and brisket are soo yummy they make the meat more flavored/soft. def coming backkk :3

Contrary to what most reviews were saying, the service was pretty good. The servers changed our grill about 2-3x without us having to ask and they checked on us a couple of times. The price for dinner was about 30$ per person and I thought that was a bit pricey for the small selection of AYCE. I was kinda bummed that the soup and steamed egg were only add-ons so they were an extra charge. The pork belly was very fatty and had little meat. The brisket was cut in very big slices, which I liked, and the bulgogi was chopped into smaller pieces and marinated well. I really loved the fact that they offer a cheese fondue dip because I haven't been to another kbbq place with that option.

Came here with my husband on a recent Monday evening. We were seated right away. There were several tables with customers but it wasn't at all crowded. There are a lot of screens situated around the restaurant playing k-pop videos for a fun, upbeat atmosphere. My husband and I both decided to get the "all you can eat" dinner, which I believe is $33.99 each. Our server took our order and then brought out several small dishes such as glass noodles, macaroni salad, kimchi, pickled cucumbers, etc., all of which were very tasty. With rhetorical all you can eat dinner, you can order from a list of various meats, poultry, etc. which you cook at the grill in the center of your table. We had bulgogi, shrimp, and squid. I especially liked the bulgogi. The shrimp was tasty but a little inconvenient since the shell is still on - can be a little messy when you peel off the shell. The squid was not my personal preference, due to the chewy texture, but I think that's just the way squid is and the flavor was good. The service overall was good and our server came to check on us several times and exchanged the grill cover a few times as well to prevent any leftover bits from causing things to get smoky. My husband did have to ask for his drink a second time before he got it, but apart from that, no complaints. Looking forward to our next visit!

Went here for AYCE for $32 per person on a Saturday late afternoon and it was okay. I was disappointed with the meat quality of the brisket... it is normally my favorite but it way too tough and too chewy. I could not eat it. But the pork belly made up for it because it was thin and I was able to cook it fast and make it crispy. I liked dipping the pork belly in the cheese corn and brisket sauce. The service was nice and friendly. We were able to flag them down for extra sauce, condiments and water refills. It's a good space overall but there are probably other venues with better meat quality.

We frequent here a lot because it's Japantown's hidden secret. Everyone tends to go to Yakiniq and there's usually a long wait there, so you go to Beque where there barely is a wait and the overall experience is better. The workers here are amazing and the owner is so sweet! We go here often and they always remember us. They're super speedy and rarely ever makes mistakes with our orders. They always check-in, so I don't have to call them over. The meat is decent. It gets the job done. Their portions are a lot, which I appreciate because I don't need to bother them to order more. Reasonably priced and they have good meat options. They don't have galbi tho, but have an alternative. I highly recommend this spot if you're craving KBBQ and need to be satisfied!

I always pass by this place and decided today to come in ans try it out. And I can honestly Say it's not too bad. They have an all you can eat lunch for $25.99 and all you can eat dinner $30.99. We. Choose the all you can eat lunch. We only had two rounds. For the first round we choose the cheese fondue dip, corn cheese dip, brisket, garlic pork belly and marinated bulgogi. The brisket was really frozen so when we threw it on the grill it cooked super fast and ended up being tough before we could finish the meat. The marinated bulgogi was our favorite. It was flavorful and tender. It was nicely seasoned. For the sauces we got the bean paste, spicy sauce, garlic and jalapeño. When cooking on the grill we recommend adding the jalapeño and garlics to give the meat a bit of more flavor. The garlic pork belly was delicious and not to fatty. Overall. I do like this place if my other korean bbq spots are closed. The thing is that they charge gor steam egg. Which some places do not.

Ask the Community - Beque BBQ Grill

    Can I make a reservation?

I don't think they take reservations

Is this place still all you can eat?

    Yes!

I have a peanut / nut allergy. Are there anything with peanuts / nuts? Does the restaurant do a good job about cross contamination?

They have some sauces for dipping that have peanuts in them. You should ask to be sure, but from my experience you might not get a correct answer.

The price per person is paid for every round or is it just the person and all you can eat after and not being charged per round?

You pay after, I suggest that you finish what you got first and ask yourself if you are really gonna order more food because there is a fee if you do not finish most of your protein. Which is understandable.

    Do they accept cash?

    Yes they do.

Can one person order all you can eat option $18.95 that one ? What's the time limit?

No. There's a two persons minimum. Time limit is set at 2 hours.

Do we have to reserve a table?

I just went a few days ago and walked in. The wait was about 20 minutes.

If going there solo (just one person), is it possible to still eat there and order something that is not part of the All You Can Eat, such as Kimchi fried rice, soup, appetizers, etc.?

Yes, they have a menu for individual dishes. Go on their website and scroll down. They have lunch specials as well as individual platters (with prices).

For Dine-In are we able to cook our own meat or will the servers do it for us?

You will cook yourself, tables are separated apart with at least one table apart, if you go early you practically have the place to yourself.

Hi, What is the portion size for the garlic pork belly (cooked) if I wanted to order it for delivery?

Bento should serve one person Dinner size should swerve two people

Is there a time limit for the all you can eat for a party of 4?

    Yes 2 hour

Can I order just the tofu soup to go without eating at the restaurant?

Yes you can, you can take soups, appetizers, and bibimbaps for to go.

Do you have options for vegetarians? If so what are they?

Hi Wendy, Thank you for reaching out! We have a variety of vegetarian options, including bibimbap… Read more

Meat is excellently seasoned and smoked to perfection, especially the brisket which just melts in the mouth. The tangy and sweet barbecue sauce really adds an extra kick, though it's not entirely necessary since the seasoning is done so well. Still, I practically drank it. The pickles are also delicious. They have a light sweetness to them, which compliments everything else really nicely. The brisket was my favorite. The ribs were great, but the brisket was just so good it shone above all else. The brisket bao is also great (I'm Chinese, so I'm really picky about bao). Love the no-tipping policy, though it confused me at the time. They even gave a little extra brisket and a whole extra rib! So nice! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Only downside perhaps is limited seating if you want to eat there, but I went during the middle of a weekday and there were unclaimed tables available outside. Located on the ground floor of the infamous leaning Milennium Tower in San Francisco's Financial District, INTERNATIONAL Smoke was Michael Mina's fine dining barbecue restaurant collaboration with multi-hyphenate entrepreneur Ayesha Curry. I visited this place once, for a small dinner party hosted by Charles Schwab on Tuesday, October 14, 2024. We arrived shortly after 6:35 PM. The atmosphere was modern, but casual and hip, funky with exposed metal accents popping through concrete floors and columns. Evidently, the fully booked days were behind them - despite the place's popularity as a fun, lively eatery with the occasional celebrity spotting, the restaurant was fairly quiet that night and not a single person was at the bar. We were seated in the spacious Atrium with floor to ceiling windows. INTERNATIONAL Smoke was not your traditional barbecue restaurant. They presented a globally-inspired grill-centric carte inspired by the rich heritages of the co-founders. The globetrotting meat dishes highlighted diverse international flame-cooking and smoking traditions. The ambitiously broad menu intended to take diners on a culinary journey around the world, but, instead, delivered a disjointed and scattered passport. Similar to the food offerings, INTERNATIONAL Smoke's drink catalogue featured some rotating crafted cocktails that leaned into global flavours, such as KUNG FU PANDAN ($18) and MIDNIGHT IN OAXACA ($20). Boozy beverages like TICKLE ME PINK ($19), NEGRONI ($19), and the ESPRESSO MARTINI ($20) were enjoyed by some of my tablemates. A couple of us stuck to the ZERO PROOF potables like the BUZZ FREE BEE ($15) and RASPBERRY FIELDS ($12) of which the latter I found to be delightful. Cool ice cubes, too! Below are a few of the dishes that we ordered: DOUBLE DUCK WINGS ($28) - I don't eat duck, but my dining mates raved over the tender mango-habanero glazed meat that was falling off the bones. BLACK TRUFFLE CAESAR ($20) - This was a substantial serving, and the sweet onion crema, fried garlic, and truffle vinaigrette all worked well together. ROASTED CAULIFLOWER ($18) - Meh. Perhaps my prejudice against raisins and tehina got in the way of enjoying this STARTER. BLISTERED SHISHITO PEPPERS ($16) - There was not a single blister on any of the peppers, so, unfortunately, the expected smoky, charred flavour was completely absent. MISO YAKI BLACK COD ($48) - This order came with two considerable sized filets of the velvety soft and flaky fish served atop mild shishito peppers sitting in a light ginger dashi broth. It could have just been me, but one of the slices looked a bit undercooked. DUNGENESS CRAB GARLIC NOODLES ($45) - Joanna went with this rich, buttery dish of noodles tossed with wood ear mushrooms, generous portions of Dungeness crab, and heavily garlicked. It was hearty, but I didn't see any bok choy mixed in there, which would have disappointed me if I were Joanna. PERI PERI HALF CHICKEN ($39) - Dustin ordered this dish. The poultry appeared to be well marinated, so I can only assume that the deep, fiery acidic flavour with the pronounced smoky element came through in each bite. Surprisingly, no rants nor raves on this from Dustin...who is usually very opinionated. PORK BELLY FRIED RICE ($17) - Not the worst, but not the best. For the small bowl, this was a major rip off. FRIED BRUSSELS SPROUTS ($15) - Wow, for the price, this should have knocked our socks off, but was pretty lackluster. 8 OZ. CENTER CUT FILET MIGNON ($68) - I ordered this steak plate. The meat was cooked perfectly medium rare, but the taste of the red wine demi and the stuffed portobello mushroom were unremarkable. LEMON OLIVE OIL CAKE ($14) - This did not stray far from the standard olive oil cake, just a touch of lemon added to the cake's flavour + the pluot garnishes. Nothing standout about this, unintriguing. "SMOKED" CHOCOLATE S'MORES ($14) - Not your typical s'mores, more of an elevated take on the campfire classic with a valrhona molten cake sitting atop brûléed marshmallow fluff with a side of graham cracker crumble and a scoop of ice cream. CINNAMON CHURROS ($13) - The accompanying blueberry cheesecake and meyer lemon curd dips were the sole unique elements of this sugar-dusted fried pastry dessert. Without them, this plate would have been underwhelming. Mediocre food at high-end prices aside, table service was friendly. What was all the hype over INTERNATIONAL Smoke? My true guess is that the affiliation with Steph Curry and his basketball friends who would pop in were the big draw...because even with all of the smoking, this place had no fire.

Granted we were a bit late for our reservation, we ended up having to wait another 30-40 mins. The place (2nd floor) is small & awkward. You can also feel whenever the table next to us got up and stomped/yelled/moved in their chairs-- which was really often. The basic AYCE menu is fairly limited-- esp for the side options. The marinated meats were pretty good as was the tteokbokki. Side & meat portions were alright, but the kicker is having to flag down staff to make sure they put in the order & bring it out.
