Home sweet home. I love stopping in this place whenever I'm in Lewes. The blueberry coffee is my favorite, and I love the coffee brand. My breakfast sandwich was a solid four stars, but I wish this place advertised it's low carb options. My mom got a breakfast wrap without the wrap, which I had no idea they did! The portions are huge and the food is great. I ordered the taylor ham, egg and cheese and it was phenomenal. My boyfriend ordered the lox, he loved the portion, but said taste wise he has had better. My go to place for an awesome breakfast bagel. You can get all sorts of combinations of bagel and filling choices. I especially like the coconut bagel, just the right amount of sweet to savory. Their lunch menu is pretty good too. Love love love the fish burrito. The only downside is they close at 3pm on weekdays and 2 on Sunday. Forewarning: even with 2 locations they are always hoppin so if you can use their call ahead ordering when you're in a rush it helps with the in and out. read more

While i would love to eat each kind of fresh bagel they have on display here, I would any day enjoy a fresh bacon egg and cheese on Sesame. They are well staffed and busy making fresh food that beach goers love! At least that is what it seems like when I get in an 8 deep line and order within 3 min. My only complaint is that it's busy. BEST BAGEL SPOT IN TOWN! I have never had a bad experience at surf bagel! Yes, there are lines but they move very quickly ! The staff is extremely friendly and beyond efficient. Every time I visit my father in laws we have to get Surf Bagel. I'm not the best judge for a bagel shop because I always get a plain bagel with cream cheese toasted, but I am pretty picky with those.
