Not much seating in Southland Mall either. Just in the food court on the lower level. Was serviced quickly by single attendant who was multitasking. Took my order, I paid, got order in 5ish minutes. Offerings: signature smoothies, sweet smoothies, pumped up smoothies, supplements add ons.. Slurps: Triple Berry (6.75, 12 oz) -saw plenty of ice & berries blended together for a dark reddish smoothie. Noticed white looking smoothies had a scoop of white powder added. -luckily, my smoothie wasn't overly sweet. The raspberry, blueberry, & strawberry concoction had a nuanced sweet, fruity, & tart profile. Seem healthy. Not sure about other smoothies sugar content. 3.5 stars semi-worthy:YMMV. I have been a Surf City Squeeze customer for decades. I love the strawberry banana smoothie. On May 30, 2026, at 7:40 pm I stopped by to get a smoothie, and they refused to serve me even though the Mall closed at 8 pm. There were 2 Hispanic girls of which one was very rude, she seemed to be the one in charge. One of the girls was already counting the money from the register on the counter. They closed the register 20 minutes before closing time. They were more interested in going home than doing what they were hired to do. I called the store on 6-2-26 at 3:30 pm and asked to speak to a manager the girl who answered said the manager was not there. I asked for the manager's name and she said," I don't know" and hung up on me. Please Surf City Squeeze hire people with good customer service, who actually want to work. read more

This Surf City Squeeze is inside Southland Mall. There is plenty of shared mall parking here, they are located closer to the HomeGoods and Round1 side. There is a kiosk to order from - their kiosk kicked me out a couple of times and kept resetting my order, so the size of my drink was not correct. I let the employee know, but since she already made the drink and did not seem to care. The employee was not friendly or welcoming, and just looked miserable like you could tell she did not want to be there. I usually get the Strawberry Banana smoothie - it did not taste right, as it just tasted very icy and sour with a lack of flavor. read more

I was excited to get one of my faves here on a Saturday afternoon, the chocolate covered strawberry smoothie with lowcal smoothie mix, and it was consistent with what I get at other Surf City Squeeze locations, sweet, cold and creamy, an addicting flavor I'm a fan of. My bf got the green pineapple banana, which was good too, but the banana flavor overpowering in this one. Service was instant and the order took about 5 minutes or so to be ready at the pickup counter. There's also a self-order kiosk in this clean and casual setting, but I wanted to get my rewards card stamped, so I ordered from an employee at the front counter. One of the workers was unaware of the rewards card policy which I recently obtained from the Eastridge location in San Jose, telling me they don't participate in this (even though "Southland Mall" is clearly listed on the card in big letters), but she was quickly corrected by another worker and marked the smoothies purchased on the card (10th stamp = free smoothie). No seating is available at this juice bar but there are other areas of the mall with tables/seating. read more

My friends and I walk up. The two young ladies continue to talk and laugh. Not one of them greeted us! Not one of them asked could they help us make and suggestions. They even looked at us take pictures of them talking and not say a word. It was a total of 14 of us that's some good sales gone bad. We finally asked excuse me are you two going to continue talking and not greet us? That isn't very precessional. She points at the register and I asks what does that mean. No nonsense smoothie shop with solid selection and friendly service My girlfriend and I stopped by here for a quick afternoon snack yesterday. We were helped by an employee named Michael - both him and his coworker who were working at the time were very friendly and were able to help us with recommendations and questions we had. Good smoothies but probably the most depressing and angry staff I have ever seen at any establishment. I go there maybe once a month and every time I go, there's younger girls staffed that look like they're about to punch somebody. They're very rude when taking my order and even when giving me my drink and stare in a very weird way, I don't know it just seems off to be buying drinks from people that are so negative. I came to this location because it's the closest one to my house. And I was disappointed :/ idc if you're at the register and you're not "cheery" or welcoming but at least be nice. The smoothie had big chunks of ice and was quite bland. Plus it was $6 for a small. I'll just stick with jamba juice.

I tend to like Jamba Juice's smoothies better, but I'll go for Surf City Squeeze too. Their smoothies aren't quite as complicated, but they're still tasty and when you want a smoothie, these will do just fine. I got the Pacific Cooler smoothie- it was something tropical and sweet and it saved me from serious hunger pangs. Luckily, the smoothie wasn't too icy and all the fruit (if there was actually any) was blended well. Overall impression- Surf City Squeeze offers good smoothies with fast and friendly service at a reasonable price. I guess that's about all you can ask for of a juice bar, so that's that! read more

Oh wow. We used to love coming to this place, but today makes me no longer want to visit. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and my daughter the honeydew milk tea with boba. Both of us felt disappointed with our drinks. My lemonade was overly sour even with the bland strawberries. My daughter's drink tasted like blended ice. When I use to go to Chabot I'd stop by the mall and more than likely I would purchase a beverage from here from the same lady all the time that she would start asking me if I worked in the mall, so I could have discount. But alas I denied that I was an employee at any establishment within the mall and continued paying full price. My bad.
