I love there mango slush. They come really fast and there really nice and have great service. They ambience was also amazing.

Very fast service with two ordering kiosks and wait time around 10 mins even though the line was long and they were very busy. The kids really liked their drinks and they were not extremely sweet. But there wasn't a lot of tea flavor even though I did see them poor pre-brewed tea from bottles. I'm guessing they are using powdered teas as the base and hence I can't give full marks. This is extremely unhealthy when consumed regularly over long periods of time. Also what I didn't like is that there's no way to have zero sugar. I can only drink no sugar milk teas that are also hot. There were no hot options even though there's a hot cup on display at the kiosk and the lowest sugar level was 50% which still seemed like a lot even though the drinks came out alright. read more

So Boba Nation used to be Boba Time and I absolutely love Boba Time because it's a Southern California chain that I love when I used to live in Southern California. I recently tried 2 drinks, the ube milk and plain yogurt smoothie. I was excited to try it because the menu is very similar to Boba Time and I think the owners decided to change all the Boba Time locations in the Bay Area to Boba Nation. The ube milk was way too sweet and did not taste good at all. The yogurt smoothie was pretty watery and didn't really taste like tart yogurt. I was disappointed and hopefully they can change the quality. I know they are opening a new location at Eastridge mall in San Jose so I don't have to drive all the way to Newark or Hayward in the future. I will try their other drinks and see if there's any standouts because I will definitely want to give them another chance. read more

I came by Sunday around 3:30 pm and there were a couple people in line, but nothing too crazy. The menu is crazy big, one of the largest selection I've seen at a boba shop. They need to make it easier to see the menu as you're lining up as the font was very hard to read on the TV screens, especially with some of the backgrounds. I was super hot and thirsty, so I got a refreshing large mango peach slush with no boba for $6.83. They're quick here, and my drink was ready within minutes. It tastes diffrent from regular lemonade bcoz the green apple adds a crisp, sweet layer and the lemonade has just the right amount of tartness. It's very easy to drink, light, and not too sweet. I would always get the Orange Hibiscus Lemonade, a very refreshing, citrusy drink that's perfect for the summer. They have a very wide selection, although it can get hard to choose from time to time but the staff is always very friendly and willing to help. Recently, I've tried this new Ube Matcha drink they just came out with. It was very rich and creamy, the flavors don't over power one another, it's a perfect blend between the two flavors! While I was sad the original boba spot that was here closed down, boba nation has quickly won over my heart with their tasty drinks. They've only just recently opened but the staff was very informed when I asked them about the blue drinks in the picture they had on the wall. I ended up ordering the blue fantasy milk tea which is made with jasmine milk tea and has lychee jellies inside (comes already with the drink). I'm always very particular about jasmine milk teas because it doesn't matter how sweet you make it if it's been over steeped. But this tea was done very well, I could taste the floral notes of it and there was no bitterness attempting to hide under the sugar. My cousin and her husband ordered the rose matcha milk tea and avocado smoothie respectively and also both enjoyed their drinks. The flavors came through very nicely!
