You can understand absolutely every word that is on the menu. But here is what Adam's Ribs does have - absolutely real, home cooked food that is delicious, servings that are big enough to make you feel sick if you eat the whole thing and great service with a smile from a waiter who has clearly tried everything on the menu. Bottom line? I love this place and would go back there tonight if it was not 1 hour away from me. We started out with the full loaf of onion straws. OMG wonderful! The onions were so sweet, the breading was perfectly crispy and not oily at all. For an onion lover, there is nothing better than this appetizer. It is served with a Daniel Boone-sized knife to cut and, believe me, you will need it! This appetizer makes a full meal if you are alone. My main course was the 8 ounce sirloin, medium rare. But you get used to it and, once you do, you realize that Adam's Ribs is one of the few restaurants left that serves good quality, home cooked meals with regular old fashioned American ingredients! No pretense, no airs, just great solid food that fills you up every time! I would never let some little bitty old smell get in my way for one of the great meals that I will enjoy there in the future.
