I am so glad that I finally had the chance to try Suri's Mediterranean since they close fairly early so I ran straight over there after work one day. The curbside pickup was so convenient, I didn't even have to get out of my car. This was honestly so good. I got the meat lovers platter and a side of potatoes and everything just worked so well together. The meat lovers came with chicken, beef, and lamb. I was glad that I could try all of the meats in one go! They were all so good, I am glad that I didn't have to choose just one. All of the sauces are amazing but the garlic sauce definitely stood out. It is so good you could spread it on a rubber tire and I bet it would be delicious. I obsessively ordered from Suri's multiple times during my two-week clinical training at the Renown ER. Their consistent quality and delicious Mediterranean meals made my lunch and dinner times a delight. Yes, every time I ordered, I ordered for the next day's lunch and dinner as well lol. Their online ordering system made it convenient to pick up meals as there is no dining-in after 3 pm. I was impressed by the generosity of meat portions in their dishes, although I couldn't resist ordering extra meat each time. Suri's attention to detail and the flavors they offer truly set them apart. I must admit, Suri's has turned me into a Mediterranean food enthusiast! The dining room is now open 11-3 pm. Siri's is very close to Renown and I drive by it all the time. One time I got baklava and it was good, because, well it's baklava and it's always good. But then Covid hit and they stopped dining room service. I'm not a fan of curbside but they have a great system if you are. I'm not familiar with Mediterranean dishes so I need to ask questions face to face. I hadn't eaten today, I was early for my appointment, and driving by I pulled in thinking I'd get a quick baklava. But once inside I asked what was fast and the owner recommended a wrap. I picked a vegetarian with eggplant and cauliflower and lettuce etc. Unfortunately they don't add salt (that I noticed), or seasoning. This is great on a salt restricted diet. But I wish he had asked if I'd LIKE them to add salt for me, because I took it to go without a salt packet. The ingredients have a nice flavor, I just missed salt. I brought half home, added salt, warmed it in a skillet and it was FABULOUS. With the added salt, I enjoyed it very much, so the next time I go I'll request that they salt it AND ADD a LOT MORE SAUCE. If they can grill it I'll ask for that also. I've never had Persian Tea. Had Suri's for lunch with the office crew. I had the chicken shawarma with no tomatoes. The chicken was good cooked, little more char would be nice. The garlic sauce was good. Only thing I would change is to add some sort of chili sauce to spicy it up. The fries were an add on for $5 and it was a complete rip. It's a small order for $5 and half the fries are over cooked. Wanting something light on this terribly hot summer day, so I decided a chicken kabob wrap was the perfect choice. I don't work too far from this place, so I placed an order online, and headed out on my lunch break. They are still not offering dine in, but have their patio open, and lots of easy-to-follow online ordering and pick up options. I opted for text alerts, which informed me when my order was ready. I pulled into one of the numbered stalls, and called the number, which informs the restaurant that you're there. Before I could enter my stall number, I was greeted by a gentleman who asked my name. Gave him my name and he quickly returned with my order. I just ordered the wrap because I knew I was going to eat in my car, and really wasn't hungry enough for a plate lunch. The wrap hit the spot, and was delicious! Perfect amount of crunch, juiciness, and freshness. I can't wait for them to open up their dining room, but on another day that isn't so hot, the patio is a nice option for dining. OMG! Their food is absolutely amazing! I never leave reviews unless I had a bad experience but this is the exception. My husband and me ordered the mixed meat platters with extra pita bread and hummus. My husband consumed the entire plate in 10 minutes like a black hole. The lamb is tender and buttery. The Shiraz i salad adds a tangy kick to every bite and the hummus is the best I've had. I don't know what the season the little potato pieces with but they are killer! Been wanting to try this place for a while, it's right next to renown. I got the chicken shawarma, it came with white long grain rice, seasoned potatoes, tahini, hummus, and a nice salad. Have been coming here forever and cannot believe I have not reviewed it. We were back here Friday and things have changed as it's been a while. No more in door dining at all!! This is was a huge bummer as it was hot and the sun beams right on you. Cool thing is you can order from the table but boy was the wait long! We waited over 45 minutes to get our food even though the mobile order estimated 25minutes only. I always get the chicken shawarma wrap which is usually Juicy and soft pita but this time the pita was hard and chewy, so I ended up throwing half away. Hopefully this isn't how it is going forward otherwise I don't think I'll be back after another try. The Greek salad was tasty and chicken was juicy however, unfortunately with the inside being closed asking for extra fork or napkins was out of the question let alone going to the restroom. read more

In my opinion suri was way better before the pandemic but now it's ok. I usually order the shawarma there especially the chicken one either as a platter or wrap. My favorite is the garlic sauce which comes as a side in the platter. I gave 3 Stars because the " no dining in ". They started this no dine in restaurant during the pandemic and they never went back to dine in, so now I have only two options either order a platter to take home and by then it's cold and not as I like it. I was really looking forward to this restaurant, I always enjoyed eating at these types of restaurants in London. I was disappointed to find out that I was unable to dine in but it was take out only. You were required to order using app posted on the outside of the restaurant but unfortunately it failed to work, this was not an isolated issue, other customer's outside experienced the same issue and was not able to use the app to make orders also. This alone should have gave me a sign to look for another restaurant, I really wished i did, this may have been a great restaurant at one time but this seems to not be the case now. I ordered the lamb plate directly from the restaurant staff because I was unable to use the app to order. Now let's get on with the main ingredient, the food. sorry guys very disappointing, the lamb slices were so thin they must have been shaved and probably shaved awhile ago because they were a jerky consistency. I guess I'm spoiled by having real real good doners from London and what they served certainly did not compare well to what I am accustomed to in this type of food. You've driven by Suri's on you way to Renown or downtown. We've never stopped but we got curious. So glad we did and you should too! Great Mediterranean food at a good price. We used their outside ordering guide using their QR code for menu and prices. Ordering is easy and your food is available really quickly. We got the cucumber salad with lemon dressing and chicken/beef combo plate. Yummy lemon dressing on fresh cucumbers and other veggies. The combo plate of chicken and beef with rice was complemented by a salad with yogurt/hummus dressings. We'll try gyros and tabouli salad next time. Try Suri's. read more

I have been to Suri's at least two times before this review. I wanted to return so I could have pictures and more food! Each time I have been to Suri's, I am offered to sample their tea! I take them up on that offer! The tea is always warm and comforting! This visit, I tried the Gyro Lamb platter, Greek salad, and loaded fries! One of my favorite things about this restaurant, is the portion sizes! They are not small, they are not too big. They are just right! And something about the way they cook the food, makes it light. Doesn't feel heavy. Even the Loaded Fries satisfy hunger without feeling too full. The dressing on the Greek Salad has a robust flavor. The Gyro Lamb platter has plenty of food on it to keep you going till your next meal. I didn't get any baklava this visit, but I have had it before! Its not too sweet but perfectly delicious! 1. Customer Service: So weird and awkward. You never get to speak with or interact with an actual human. You must call the number press the prompts, they text you a website link to order, you place your order online. You cannot call and talk to a person ever and ask any questions about their menu or the order and pickup process. When you arrive the door is locked. You must remake in your car and text the number to tell them you are there. They bring your food out when it is ready. OUR FOOD WAS 10 MINUTES LATE. So we sat in our car for 10 minutes waiting after their pickup time, and there was no way to call or speak to someone about them running late and how long the wait might be. 2. Food: We ordered chicken shawarma bowls. Quality was cheap, taste was terrible. Chicken was gamey, overcooked, dry, old, bland, no seasoning. Hummus was soupy. Garlic sauce had no garlic flavor. Tabouli portion was small and bland. The baklava was small and expensive but the taste wasn't bad. We took a couple bites of everything and ended up throwing it away and ate something else we had at home for dinner. 3. ALADDIN's is WAYYYYY better than this place. Okay now I'm not one to leave a bad review and honestly feel bad even writing this, but I thought people should know about the major inconvenience of their ordering system. I've been to this place once before and sat inside and ordered and it was wonderful. Decided to go back today. I pull up and notice tons of signage, stations, menus, and QR codes posted all over the entrance. Hmm ok... Went to open the door and it's bolted & locked. Thought okay whatever this must still be a covid precaution (even though masks aren't mandated anymore and all places pretty much offer indoor dining).... whatever to each their own. So I place my order through their QR code, go to pay and sit at my "station" in the car. 20 minutes have passed... still no food or update. Okay (mind you I ordered a salad and side of pita bread), so I sit for another 15 minutes (45 total) and reply again, still no answer and finally said screw this I'm about to miss a work meeting and just left even though I already paid. Still no answer and I've now missed an hour of work sitting at the "Station" and have yet to receive a reply back. I'm just annoyed is all and it feels disrespectful to even hear back. OH and did i mention that if you try and call them to I dont know... talk to a REAL person, the number auto hangs up and sends you to the text again to order through their online platform. Which by the way, I know there was people in there because one lady ran out an order to a car that pulled up about 15 min after I had been sitting there (maybe she ordered 3 hours ago???). Either way, the people never came out to check on me even though I was the only person sitting at any station or reply back. The food is the star here! Freshly made in house, some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever eaten. I had the meat lover. The lamb was tender and flavorful. Both the chicken and beef are cooked to perfection. A fresh tangy cucumber salad compliments this entree perfectly. Pistachio balaclava, and a cup of spiced tea really tops off this wonderful meal. This is a little hidden gem! You wouldn't think to find this place as it is next to a dispensary and off a weird turn off before a round about. I actually accidently found this place. I was looking for something to eat on door dash as it was another can't leave the office kind of day when I saw this as one of the options, I decided to give it a try as it had decent prices. I ordered the lamb gyro and lentil soup and even delivered, it was super delicious! The lentil soup was one of best I've had and if I knew how this soup was made, it would be a weekly staple in my repertoire of recipes. The lamb gyro was also very good. I loved the crispy bits on the meat that is beloved on shwarma and the combination of flavors with the veggies and tzaziki sauce. I've been here a few times and love that it is still curbside. I can order my food and it is delivered right to my car door. They are attentive to meet you at your car as and I never have to wait longer than 10 minutes. This place is fantastic. Excellent service, cute atmosphere, and the food is startlingly good. You can tell from the menu that they don't screw around; it's limited but what they do, they do well. I had the gyro platter; my companions had chicken kabob; both were delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked with some form of lentil that really benefited the texture. I will say that the cucumbers in the salad were very slightly pickled, which I don't care for, but my companions loved them. The house blend iced tea is intense. It's like ... chai spices, without the actual tea flavor? A cardamom kick with a cinnamon aftertaste. Really good. And the saffron ice cream, with pistachios and ... maybe dates?
