    Mini cooper

We purchased a sweet little mini cooper yesterday and had a great experience at Surprise Ford. Our Sales person, Lavi Barrs was very friendly and not pushing. You could tell she was there to help us get what we wanted. Lavi stepped up and involved manager George Lopez whom was also very kind and helpful. We then met with the finance manager Juan Marceleno and we were very happy with the outcome. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. After just 2.5 hrs we were on our way home with the car and terms we were looking for. Thank you all, Sandy and Larry Brown.

I have never used YELP, so obviously I have a significant complaint. I decided to give this dealership a shot after researching Ford Broncos at various dealers. I had test driven one at a car show Memorial Day weekend. 31 days later and I am still waiting on my wheel locks and a medical reimbursement check. I will accept not getting these in order to post my review. I was driving to the dealer after making an appointment to purchase a specific black Bronco. I received a call from them assuring I was on my way and I confirmed. I was told about the employee pricing and offered 43000 dollars for my trade. Upon arrival, I was informed they had sold my vehicle during my drive to the dealership. I was asked if I would like to look at another color/model. I agreed and they brought out a green one. I liked the vehicle and we started talking numbers. Right from the start they changed my trade value to 40000 and added 4000 in dealer options such as Lo-jack, wheel locks, tint and a lot more garbage. Additionally, the vehicle was 3000 dollars more expensive. After painfully going back and forth with four different people, I got the initial deal, SEVEN hours later. They offered no break on the price for the inconvenience. I was exhausted and ready to drive home. On my way home, I turned on the windshield wipers to remove bugs and there was no washer fluid. I got up early the next morning to fill the reservoir and the fluid leaked onto the pavement. I called on a Sunday and no management was on site. I called back Monday and was told if I brought it back, they would do the repair. I insisted that they come to Tucson and they finally agreed. In the interim, I received an email from a sales manager name Pesh. I responded and received no further communication. When the mobile team arrived, I was informed it could not be fixed due to a massive rat infestation. They gave me 8 pictures, of which 2 are posted. When contacting the dealer Nick offered to send me a rental and attempt to repair the extensive damage. He was totally unaware of the rat damage. I realized in hindsight that they did not perform a presale detailed inspection. I wanted a fair and quick resolution and was told similar versions were in transit. I drove the vehicle and developed a respiratory infection from breathing in the rat feces. I had searched both Suprise Ford and Peoria Ford sites for a green Bronco and all that was there was a Badlands, which they totally dismissed. Suprise finally found a black one from either their partner or another dealership. Nick informed me it was a slight upgrade due to a towing package, which I really don't need. However, it does not have the Ambient lighting. I wanted to get in and out and they were quick. The only thing said to me was please give them a good survey conveying they remedied the issue. It was now obvious that a good review was more important than customer satisfaction. I humbled myself and sent in a good review. I got home and realized they forgot the wheel lock. I called any promised to order them and mail them ASAP. I called to check on their status, I was told they were sent to the wrong address. It has been 19 days. I do not want a form apology from them or any further communication. I am willing to order my own wheel locks and dismiss the 80 dollar copay check and move on. From the start they should have given me the Badlands or a vehicle within a few thousand dollars of my purchase price. and sent me home feeling positive. Instead, I have absolutely nothing positive that came from this ordeal. I have bought many new cars and this was by far the worst experience of my life. After reviewing the number of negative reviews for Suprise Ford, I should have checked their reviews prior to my visit, I intend to communicate this to BBB and Google Business reviews, along with any other available entities. If you choose to shop at this dealer, assure that you perform your own presale inspection.

    2 year customer, is a $200 referral, 9/4/24
    Gabby M.

Not sure how much I would trust in them. They continue to call me after I block the number, they call from desk phones, personal phone, they would page me if they could! Just be careful with referrals! MR. William leaves VMs stating, that as of your 2 year mark you will receive a $500 referral check on new car buys! Awesome, then I get a phone call less than 14 days later and they state AGAIN "Congrats on being a two year customer, when you send in new referrals you get a $200 check" What is the truth, who knows if you truly get a check! Please stop calling me.

I originally was looking for a used car, but after an unpleasant experience at another dealership and going over pricing, a new car was in my best interest. As someone who HATES car dealerships and the whole atmosphere of them, I did online research to make the process of stress-free as possible. I emailed several dealerships who had a 2025 Toyota Corolla SE and asked for OTD prices. Some didn't respond. Camelback Toyota said they would give me a price, but they ended up giving me pricing for an LE instead, saying they'd honor it even with the incorrect trim. We went back and forth, but in the end, they just wanted me to come in and never solidified pricing - which I did not want. Toyota of Surprise WAS receptive over email. I emailed back and forth Imran about pricing and was able to get a price that worked for me. It took some time for the car to arrive at the dealership, but when it did, Keith was super helpful! He showed me all the ins and outs of the car and was super kind and not pushy at all throughout the process. I was able to save the hassle of dealing with pricing at the dealership through email communication and got my car at the dealership in a timely manner! It was the shortest trip to the dealership I've ever had and I'm so grateful for it.

They said that's a "starting" price, which I would understand if I didn't enter my make model and milage when requesting the quote. Bait and switch just to get you in the door and reference the disclaimer which apparently the depend heavily on. Paying the extra $40 wouldn't be a big deal but based on principle and the deception, I rather give my business elsewhere. To add the service guy Izrael treats you like your're a burden didn't even greet me, checking his watch while Iwas trying to pull up my quote, lied and said there was no one else I could talk to about it. On a positive note I didn't get the name of the gentleman that first came out but he was friendly and welcoming even apologized that he couldn't help.

I spoke with Kevin, the service manager, who was incredibly helpful from the start. He let me know my car was still under warranty and even offered to send a tow truck to pick it up. The tow truck driver was able to get my car started, so I drove it down to the dealership. When I arrived, Kevin assured me they could look at it right away. While I waited in the lobby, I enjoyed a complimentary cup of coffee, which was a nice touch. The wait wasn't long at all--about 40 minutes. I received a text letting me know my car was ready, and Kevin personally brought it out and thanked me for my business. The whole process was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. Excellent customer service all around--I really appreciate how easy they made a stressful situation.

Noah on the sales team was amazing, very kind, very helpful, and he was willing to answer all of our questions and didn't pressure us to do anything we weren't 100% about. I said No about one thing and he said okie and that was it and said he would keep in contact about other cars of the same one i was looking at, and walked us to the door and thanked us for coming - he did keep in touch - I inquired about another car of the one I was wanting, but Noah was unavailable the day I had time to come look at it. He is the only reason for the 3 stars. However the girl who helped us in Noah's absence. Ashley on the sales team, she seemed nice enough at first, however she didn't bother to ask anybody their names. She didn't let me finish my phone call as I was waiting on her to come back, I had received one and answered, she interrupted it and said lets go no consideration for my being on the phone and just started walking away. She was pretty rude after I told her the numbers I was looking at and she came back and said "people who cant afford Xtype of carX typically go with those cheaper smaller options. " I told her very specifically what I was wanting. As I did with Noah. But she kept pressing about every other type of car on the lot they had. I came in knowing what I wanted already. She asked me if i wanted to run my credit and see what the numbers are for cars i wasnt even looking at or had even test drove or saw the inside or history on. I told her no, thats okie, i only wanna run it if I'm absolutely sure about buying something. And then proceeded to ask me at least 6-7x more during the interaction after I repeatedly told her no. It made me very uncomfortable and felt like all she wanted was to sell a car and didn't matter what one, didn't matter what I wanted. She was very inconsiderate telling me "lease it and then buy it, that's what smart people do". Thats kind of rude in my opinion, are you saying because i would rather finance my vehicle I'm not smart? I'm sorry but that is my decision not yours? She should not be selling people cars if she can't listen to what the customer is wanting, and can't take no for an answer when we are visibly uncomfortable. She didn't even bother to walk us out, or let us take the unsigned quote slip, which Noah did so we could think about it. She folded it up, and walked out after we told her 5x in a row we would rather just have the car we originally wanted, and she kept saying are you sure we have this, and this too. I kept telling her we were gunna keep looking. She was very very pushy. And I will not be buying from here after that whole situation. Even my kid thought she was being rude.

COMPLETE LOSS OF TRUST for Sands Kia SERVICE department on Cactus Road in Surprise Arizona…read more  Kia makes a great car - but AVOID Sands Kia Service - let me tell you why.  My 90-year old mom noticed a dashboard warning light indicating a problem with the battery. She had a new battery installed by Sands Kia in her 2018 Kia Optima August of 2024 - about 15 months prior - with a 3-year warranty - that cost $350 - so she took her car in for service on November 25.  After the service department checked the car - she was told by Fernando Zamorano - a Service Advisor - that the car needed a new alternator and that the battery was OK. When asked the cost of replacing the alternator - my mom was quoted $1500 - and asked if she would like to schedule a time to make the repair.  Luckily - my mom thought something was amiss - mainly because the car had been running perfectly -and only had 35,000 miles on the odometer. So - she said - "not now - I'm going to get a second opinion."  My mom is fortunate to have a friend who knows a mechanic - and after running tests on the car - this mechanic found it WAS the battery - and the alternator was fine. He felt that my mom was being taken advantage of - and didn't charge her anything for his time testing :)  You know this guy is now going to get a lot of referrals !  When I visited my mom for Thanksgiving - we took the Kia Optima back to Sands Kia - and sure enough - this time their tests determined the problem was indeed the battery - and since it was under warranty - there was no charge. Nothing was mentioned about the alternator when I was with my mom !   Were the mechanics incompetent the first time the car was taken in ?? Did they not know how to properly test a battery ??  I seriously doubt that this dealers' mechanics could be so unprofessional - therefore - the blame must lie with 'Service Advisors' - like Fernando - and the Sands Kia service 'system' - which profits from performing needless repairs.  Shame on them for trying to get my mom to pay $1500 for uncalled-for service ! The lesson learned here - ALWAYS get a second opinion - and - AVOID Sands Kia Service. My mom thought you should know !

I went in and the salesmen were very pushy. When I determined the 2 trucks were in the Sands Chevrolet lot in Surprise, I tried to leave and the salesman was pushy telling me he could beat the price of the ones at the other lot and their trucks would have lower miles. He showed me 2 trucks that were $20,000 more than the ones I wanted to look at. I don't think that salesman understood math or even numbers at all. When I told him I was going to the other lot, he said he didn't want me to leave without making a deal on one of the trucks on their lot that I specifically said I wasn't interested in, due to the price and the engine type. What a terrible experience. My wife and I drove to the Surprise location and spoke to Joe De La Torre. I was skeptical, because salespeople can be very high pressure and don't always listen to your needs. I knew what I was looking for. I didn't need someone holding my hand trying to sell me a vehicle I didn't want. Joe was different. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. I told him the about the 2 trucks that I was looking for and he knew exactly where they were on the lot which had at least 200 vehicles on it. He listened and treated me with respect the entire time I was there. He knew every detail to the 2 trucks I was looking at. I test drove both trucks. No pressure at all. He didn't force anything on me. I finished the test drive and told him I needed to talk to my wife. He waited while I spoke to my wife. Ended up purchasing one of the trucks. The whole process was easy, and never felt high pressure. The finance manager Brandon was also super helpful during the end of the process. My wife and I are University of Arizona fans, and even though Joe was an ASU fan, we made it work. I would recommend Sands Chevrolet in Surprise to anyone who wants to be treated well. I get a call after 5pm saying they needed 2 forms redone to fund. The dealership never contacted me to let me know and due to this miscommunication I had to make a payment on my old car that was traded 3 weeks ago. No apology and they stated well you'll get that money back. Does not change the fact that I had to make this payment with my new payment coming up. I reluctantly signed the new forms and asked that someone follow up with me to make sure it was all done. No phone call so I called the bank and they verified it was funded. Ridiculous that I have to take the time to call and verify they did their job. The dealership did not offer any compensation for the inconvenience and disappointed with the lack of communication. Never had this issue with any other car I bought. I would not recommend this dealership. Go to Peoria if you want a Hyundai.
