My car wouldn't start, and after trying to jump it and charge the battery with no luck, I decided to call the dealership where I purchased it. I spoke with Kevin, the service manager, who was incredibly helpful from the start. He let me know my car was still under warranty and even offered to send a tow truck to pick it up. The tow truck driver was able to get my car started, so I drove it down to the dealership. When I arrived, Kevin assured me they could look at it right away. While I waited in the lobby, I enjoyed a complimentary cup of coffee, which was a nice touch. The wait wasn't long at all--about 40 minutes. I received a text letting me know my car was ready, and Kevin personally brought it out and thanked me for my business. The whole process was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. It was an experience going to Germain Honda, it was quite far from me. but found a vehicle they had ( as a trade in) I was extremely interested in. Was able to text the dealership directly and they had responded back fairly quickly. I did not feel pressured or hounded while looking at the vehicle prior to test driving it. After coming back to the lot our sales representative Marc took me into the office to go over numbers. This is the part I seriously dread. It's all about the numbers and negotiations. Went back a fourth a few times and settled on a price, but again there is still additional costs that are added on like BS Doc Fees AKA- "dealer documentation fees" ( had never heard of this) that many dealers can charge ( anywhere from $500-$2,000 +) just to cover the administrative work related to the transaction. I personally think it's money disbursed to those involved within the sale (Commissions if you will). These prices include everything from filing vehicle registration paperwork with the DMV, by transferring a title, to simply just double-checking ALL the financial information on the buyer's lien application. I'm sorry, this should be a part of their job title & responsibility, not additional money out of the customers pocket! FYI- This is NOT a government mandate.It's solely based on each car dealer whether to implement it or not! Some states (such as California & New York) limit how much dealers can charge for this, while others (like here in Arizona, Florida, & Texas) allows a car dealership to set the rate as high as they want & there is absolutely no negotiations $$ there at this dealership with that number! Wasn't happy about that & then come to find out they double charged for my licensing fees, but they did reimburse me for that. The only pressure (even though I had my own finance company) was they want me to go thru theirs. They will do their best to claim they can match rates and make you fill out a back up contact just "in case" your finances fall through. They had never done business with my financial institution but, it's has a name & reputation that speaks for itself!! There shouldn't be any questions with that; yet still had to go thru the motions of another application! Plus, I wasn't going to waiver from my original loan request as it was pre-approved, have been with them for decades & this dealership couldn't come close to my rate. Can say, this location does a great business and they have people that come from ALL over the State of Arizona as well as out of state buyers. It's a huge dealership. They provide a courtesy transportation shuttle, have rental car services, tech experts on site, repair shop, free oil changes and more. My brake fluid tested bad. Bought 3 very expensive 12 oz containers from this dealer. Jacked the car up, removed the wheels, hooked up the power bleeder, and opened the first container of brake fluid I bought at the dealer. Just for the heck of it i tested the new fluid and it was worse than the fluid that was in the car. Tested the other 2 containers and they were also bad. They have a shelf life, so I guess they don't sell very many. I won't be buying any thing else from this dealer. Gave them an extra star because the people at the parts counter were very customer service oriented. This is exactly why I do all my own repair work, can't even trust the dealer these days. I recently bought a used Silverado from this Honda store, Upon purchase, I raised a concern for the brakes and they had claimed that they had checked the brakes and they were at 7 mm. I trusted the inspection and purchased the vehicle. I take the truck in for a check engine light one month later at a Chevy store.They informed me that my brakes were at 2 mm and needed to be replaced, I then took it into Honda to get things figured out because they should have never sold me the vehicle that way in the first place!!! Honda then proceeds to tell me they can do nothing for me except employee discount on parts and labor. It is against the law to sell a used vehicle with brakes under 3mm. I would not recommend this dealer in anyway, one because they were totally dishonest with the inspection on the vehicle and probably just put in info without even looking at the vehicle. Kiara checked in to end the night. She wanted to make sure everything was programmed and ready for use and all my questions were answered. I was treated like royalty. After purchasing our 2022 CRV about 19 months ago, we were in for a regular oil change and tire rotation when we were informed that the tires needed to be replaced, at only 19K miles. Turns out, our model has known issues of the factory tires not lasting long so we were on the hook for about 1K. I did my research and Honda had the best price on the tires we wanted, not to mention a $50 rebate through Goodyear. But before I had them installed, I had questions about the tire difference, warranty etc. It took more than a week and multiple calls/emails before I heard back from our service advisor, Alfredo. Once I did get a hold of him, he was very quick to get me scheduled the next day, but I shouldn't have to go through all that trouble. I even called the main service number, but no one could answer my simple questions. Very frustrating and the reason for my 4/5 rating. We also scheduled a few filters to be replaced and the alignment needed adjustment. All of this was done at a discount, due to my inconvenience of getting a hold of anyone for over a week. I asked, they did not offer. We own the one car and live 10 minutes from the dealership. Because of this, their policy to pay for the roundtrip charge of a Lyft is always appreciated. Pretty upset with how I was treated by the Service Manager David McKee. I came in to take care of a quick recall, and oil change. When I picked up my vehicle, I noticed my passenger fender had paint stripped, driver side fender scratched, and my rear bumper had been as well been nicked to where paint was lifting. He let me know that they were not going to take responsibility of the damages because I could not prove it was them who caused it however the pictures they initially took does not have the paint chipped on the fender which is really noticeable and the bumper nicked. He then took every measure to wipe his hands clean of the matter saying that my car was previously repainted, there's a lot of scratches on the car, along with asking why I went directly to the fender, as if I was trying to get one over on them. He also said there was no way none could have scratched it in service bay by leaning over the vehicle because they only worked underneath the vehicle, mind you I got an oil change done on it as well. I mean every excuse to make it not his problem, and kick me out said this is the "end of this conversation with you" and "I can't do nothing for you" I think it's perfectly normal to a quick walk around your vehicle to check for any damages, when picking up your vehicle from service. I will be escalating this further if this is not taken care of. read more

I hate to even bring myself to do this but it comes with a heavy heart. I recently bought a 2020 Mercedes Amg C63s with my lady and it was her dream car. We spent month looking for the right one and we came across their listing and went through the process from coming in to look at it to the end of the purchase about a 2 day period all said and done. We never shopped, we did not argue over pricing and with perfect credit and $15,000 cash down it was probably their easiest deal of that night. Initially the first day we came to look at it we looked all over the car to make sure it was in the right conditions just like any buyer would and we did notice an aftermarket intake and we asked Connor and Collin about if there were any additional aftermarket parts on the vehicle? They said no that it just looks like an intake. I said good because we dont want a race car this is for her not me she needs something more reliable and a modified car would obviously be less reliable. I also asked for a carfax and a inspection sheet which we never got until much much later (2 months later). We bought the car happy we enjoyed it and we got a code for the thermostat which was under warranty though mercedes so therefore we took it there only for them to tell me that the car is much more modified then what I explained to him the first time. He mentioned it was aggressively tuned and had aftermarket downpipes. Graciously he was able to look past all that and still have my thermostat replaced. Soon after (the next day) I lost all boost in the vehicle there was a boost leak at the coupler the throttle body and spent a chunk of change to get that fixed at a reputable 3rd party shop. They mentioned if I knew about the down pipes and tune on the vehicle since they knew I just bought it recently I said mercedes JUST told me about those a couple days prior. Both of which said to get with the dealership about it since its causing problems for me and was never disclosed. After they did the coupler fix a few hours later the manifold is leaking boost due to the bad tune and downpipes. This is the opposite of what we wanted in a car. All this has happened in a span of 2 months in and out of shops and me trying to handle it myself but it gets to a point where this should be something that the dealer should have addressed to me ahead of time especially when I specifically asked. I set up an appointment with germain honda about all this and confirmed it did have the down pipes within 3 minutes of having it. They explained to me that they are not responsible for anything as all they do is check to make sure it passes emissions and their minimal safety check. They said they listed the car with aftermarket intakes as its a visual item while the down pipes are not and they are not trained on what downpipes look like. According to both mercedes and the 3rd party shop it takes someone with minimal experience to spot down pipes. As a matter of fact their technician spotted it within the 3 minutes he had it. Very disappointing for me and now im spending thousands more to have it back in running order. I feel lied too and taken advantage of. This comes from someone that was on the other-side of the desk, I sold cars for 4 years myself and just a few months prior before making the purchase I had left to pursue my own business. The gentleman at mercedes the service advisor helping me is actually one of my great customers. I would have never practiced this way to any of my clients and is disappointing that after years of being in the business and doing everything to make sure I take care of my customers; I am now the customer and being the victim of bad business. read more

We came in found the vehicle and spec we wanted, they needed to get the vehicle from from another store. They required that we place a deposit because "when we make the call to get the vehicle from the other dealer the car is bought." They advised they would have the car first thing in the morning. Spoke with our sales guy Phoenix in the morning to confirm what time we should come to finish the deal and he advised they had a porter on the way, then magically 5 minutes later got a call from Robert that they hadn't actually secured the car we had put the deposit on. Had to unwind the deal. Should've trusted our gut on Robert, didn't trust him from the beginning, he couldn't stop talking and didnt believe half of what he was saying. If a vehicle needs work done, you do the necessary work and reflect that in the selling price. There are buying services all over the internet that tell the buyer they don't have to pay it, that they can negotiate it out of the sale. I then said thanks, but no thanks and that I would be going elsewhere. They then said that the $995 package was not required to pay for. Really??? No kidding. If I lived across the street from this dealership I would go to the next closest Honda dealership to buy ANY car. I took my daughter's 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid in for an A17 service for an oil change and brake fluid service on August 14th. My service advisor was Victor. Later that day he called me to tell me that the car needed to have a serpentine belt replaced. He said that the belt was very important and if it broke my daughter car would be dead. I didn't want my daughter to have any car problems, so I told him to go ahead. It was late in the day so he said he would get it done the following morning. The following day I called Victor about noon as I had not heard anything. He told me that the technician had made a mistake and the hybrid doesn't have a serpentine belt. I don't know how it happened as the technician and service advisor had agreed the previous day that the car needed the belt. We are and have been a Honda family (wife, daughters, son in law) for many years and I am disappointed. I have always taken my Honda to a dealer for service even though I know it costs more but I wanted it to be done right by Honda technicians. For the past 20 years I have taken my Hondas to either Arrowhead or Surprise Honda for service. I am not sure where I will take my cars in the future. read more

Well I'm sorry to say that the service technicians keep trying to say I need work done when I don't . I loved this place but I've had my car in a few times in the last 2 months and the first month they replaced all my filters and then the second month they told me they needed to be replaced again. When I looked at them, they were clean when I get home. Also, I've had my car in several times over the last few months complaining of a noise. They tell me there's nothing wrong. I just need new tires and I found out it's my front end and that's where my tires are wearing badly.
