I drive all the way from Renton and it's worth every minute I spend in traffic. Beautiful fish, beautiful platters, friendly staff
This place is amazing. I love sushi and go to a lot of different places, and this will absolutely be going into the rotation. VERY generous portions, super high quality, and just delicious. The staff are so incredibly friendly and attentive. The outside of the restaurant doesn't do this place justice. I'm a big fan and can't wait to come back to the more of the menu.
Ordered delivery Chirashi bowl - very high quality scallop and yellowtail. This was one of the top quality delivery, sushi, or sashimi I've had in this area.
The quality of the food was very good and the service is better based on it being a smaller restaurant that can accommodate to go meals, or quick and easy meals for locals. Ambiance is quaint for a 1 on 1 or for smaller group settings. I would come back based off of they check up on me ever so often which is good petsonal practice in the industry
Was really looking forward to trying this place after reading all the amazing reviews. I am a big salmon lover and the salmon trio bowl intrigued me. It comes with raw salmon slices, seared salmon slices and spicy salmon. The raw salmon slices were high quality and tasted great. However, I came away disappointed with the seared salmon slices. It was lacking the smokiness from the sear and tasted like cooked salmon that I could've prepared at home. I probably will stick with the salmon bowl next time instead of the trio. My partner liked the chirashi bowl as it came with an assortment of sashimi. Prices are good and the staff seemed to be very friendly which is always a plus.
Wow, just wow. I could eat here everyday :) I got the spicy salmon bowl ($16) and it was large, fresh and amazing. The salmon was top notch quality and wasn't overly mayo-y as spicy fish can sometimes be. The interior is simple, clean, and authentic. There is a good amount of seating but we got our bowls to-go and walked them out to the water. I want to try all the bowls on the menu! The staff are super welcoming and kind.
I LOVE the sushi here. I come almost once a week. My go to order is the nigiri set. Chirashi bowl is also excellent. The restaurant is neat and cozy. I recently hosted a team event here and the staff were so accommodating! I contacted them over email with a spreadsheet of everyone's orders. When the team arrived, the staff had name plates on the table to serve us efficiently.
A hidden gem!! Staff were all very kind, and the roomy interior was really well-maintained with lots of seating. Service was efficient - ordering is online, and the food comes out quick. Parking was easy in the big lot out front. No wait on a weekday evening but there was a steady stream of customers. I got the chirashi bowl ($27), which comes with a bowl of miso soup, and karaage ($8). I was impressed with the quality and quality of the fish: big portions of salmon, tuna, hamachi, shrimp, eel, scallop, all of which tasted really fresh. The karaage was solid and I liked that the seasoning wasn't overpowering. Each piece was meaty and the batter wasn't too thick. Would very happily return whenever I'm craving sushi!
Casual, clean, and open space with ample parking in the shared plaza parking lot. My friend and I came in for lunch on a rainy weekend and were greeted and sat immediately. The service was nice and quick. I like the online ordering, keeps service super efficient. I ordered the chirashi bowl which was relatively cheap. Most of their menu is pretty affordable compared to other sushi places. The food itself was pretty good! There isn't much variety of fish, the chirashi bowl came with 5 (eel, scallop, hamachi, salmon, and tuna). I think it originally comes with shrimp also, but I'm allergic so I got it swapped out. The quality of the fish was pretty good. Scallop, salmon, and eel were yummy. Tuna and most of the pieces of hamachi were okay. Overall, this place was pretty good! Cheap, simple, a great sushi fix. Nothing super special, but worth a try if you're in the area for sure!
I heard of this place recently so I decided to give it a try. There's a parking lot in the area so you don't have to find street parking which is nice. It was lunch time but they had no customers, im hoping it's because it's relatively new so not many people know about it yet. The place is small and clean. Food was a hit and miss. I would say stick with the sushi dishes, the hot dishes was just average. Sushi set: this came with 8 pieces of nigiri (chefs choice) a house roll, miso soup and salad. --- the sushi is really fresh. The fish was soft and smooth. Good portion for the price. Kids set: I chose the chicken katsun and the avocado roll. For it being a kid set, there was a lot of food. It also came with a tofu pocket and a miso soup. The katsu was thin so there wasn't too much meat. The avocado roll was good though. The tofu pocket was just rice inside an inari so nothing really special there. I also got an order of chicken karage and it was ok as well. Not super meaty, not super crispy. Food flavor. It was ok overall. Overall, the sushi was the best thing, and I will definitely be ordering more of those when Im in the area or try their bowls.
Honestly this place satisfies the craving for mid tier sushi. Pros: salmon, hotate (scallops for you first timers, and hamachi Cons: tuna not the freshest and unagi was served cold not charred (missed opportunity like the girl that got away) Nice staff and very tentative with cute ambience. Value bulk approved
This place is a 10/10 all around! Great price for the quality and amount of food you get. I highly recommend the salmon trio bowl. It comes with miso soup and a lot of rice, but it is filling! I love the atmosphere inside with the modern interior. The service is excellent, very polite and always available. Definitely a must try!
This place is so fresh. I've been here twice now in the span of one month. The first time I dined in and the service was so friendly and patient. I came with a group of three on a weeknight and we were seated pretty quickly. We all got different things. I got the poke bowl and my friend got the sushi set. Fish is so so fresh And I like the toppings in the poke bowl. The sushi set is also so affordable for what you get all of the nigiri and sushi were super super tasty overall the places super clean, simple and great spot for quality high value sushi. Must visit if you're in Kirkland
I was super excited to stumble upon this gem!!It's a refreshing, clean, and welcoming dining experience. What more could I ask for? My favorite aspect is that their dishes showcase the freshness of the ingredients without overpowering sauces and dressings commonly found in this type of joint. I got the Salmon Trio Bowl (4.25/5), which was pretty good. It was slightly expensive for a poke bowl but also more protein than normal and included miso soup. The service was good (4/5). The interior is modern and clean (4/5). read more

So happy this place opened. A nice casual bang for buck sushi shop! Food: I enjoyed the Chirashi ($25) which had generous cuts of salmon, yellowtail, scallop, eel, albacore, shrimp, and tuna. All fresh clean tasty fish. I liked how they seasoned their rice - a nice balance of vinegar and salt. I ate the whole bowl. My wife has the salmon trio ($20) which was also delicious and would be perfect for salmon lovers. Our table ordered the lemon drop roll (great if you love lemon), red dragon roll, and dragon roll to share. Everyone loved different rolls but the dragon roll got the most votes for favorite roll. Ultimately for the price you get great sushi in downtown Kirkland. Service: very friendly welcoming service! Ambiance: casual with bright lighting and open space. We had 6 people including a toddler and had a very spacious relaxing meal. Good for a casual get together with loved ones or friends. Parking: relatively easy as there's spaces for the businesses in this commercial center. However if spaces run out you may have to look around. We went on Friday evening and we easily found a spot. Bathroom: clean meaning the kitchen is clean. I like this place and I'm coming back in the future! read more
The salmon and unagi was so fresh and had a clean taste, I eat sashimi and sushi often so I know the quality difference! All of the staff was kind, modern nice aesthetic. I really like that you order and pay from your table - that way you can enjoy your food and leave as you'd like. I got the salmon trio which was perfect, I ordered the dragon roll too and it left nothing to be desired. Left feeling very full and happy! read more

The food was amazingly fresh. This place serves the best Chirashi Bowl I've ever had. I got 15 pieces of assorted sashimi for $27, with salad as the base instead of rice. Service was fantastic. The staff were super friendly, and my Chirashi Bowl came with a bowl of miso soup. Great atmosphere. It's a solid spot that I'll be coming to very often. Highly recommend! read more
Pretty great sushi, would've given it a 4.5 if I could. Sushi is pretty darn good, as is ramen (although needs some spice). The service is fabulous, love the servers. They obviously take pride in their food and in serving and are very kind, even if customers are not (at a table next to your ours an elderly couple ordered food. The woman ordered everything and then asked for extra salad dressing. then when the waitress brought it, she said "actually I'm sending this back. This is not a green salad. This is is just cabbage. I expect it to be taken off the bill ." CRINGE --It IS a Japanese restaurant, so a cabbage salad should be in the expected realm. However, to avoid this mistake in the future, it would be a good idea to put that on the menu description. Visited for dinner time and had their Chirashi Bowl & Caterpillar Roll! The food was delicious and served so beautifully! I'd definitely come back to try more of their rolls and to get the Chirashi Bowl again. Everyone there was super sweet and kindest people! They served us Jasmine and Green Tea which paired well with the food. The ambience was beautiful and super cozy! It was intimate and they played really nice music, too! read more

Cute little sushi restaurant I found through Yelp! Clean and cute place with friendly and thoughtful staff. Went around 6pm on Friday night and the place was busy! Managed to get a seat before the dinner rush. Salmon trio bowl was delicious. Fish was great quality overall. The house salad was made almost the exact same way as my dad used to make them - super nostalgic. Would like to come back to try more menu items. read more

This place was such a gem within the Kirkland area! The ambience was very nice - just the right amount of lighting, and some nice jazz music! Style of the place was very clean-minimalistic. You order digitally through a QR code and easily pay the tab once you're done with the meal! Fish was super tender and flavorful. Definitely recommend! read more

Over-the-top sushi quality and freshness with excellent service and cleanness. The chef is very much skilled and shows many years of experience. Highly recommend! The prices are very affordable. What I liked the most is that the dish sticks to the basics. Rice is perfectly cooked, not mushy nor undercooked, and rightly vinegared and salted. It is really hard to find sushi restaurants with this quality of rice. It looks simple but is hard to achieve, in my opinion. The fish slices are thick and fresh. Generous portions served. Creativity and taste balance in rolls. I will definitely come back, try different rolls, and update. Cozy and family-friendly vibe. Modern but warm interior. Update: visited again yesterday. Very fresh nigiri and sashimi pieces served. Tried four different rolls so far, and their Shrimp Tempura Deluxe is my favorite (forgot to take a picture)! Update: visited last week. The sushi set is updated and is now serving fresh tuna. Asked the chef and it is fresh tuna (ahi) from Hawaii. I have never tasted such fresh nigiri here in Pacific Northwest. So so good! My friends and I got the salmon trio bowl and the fish was fresh and there was a good amount of it! This place is pretty affordable and the lady working there was the sweetest person ever! They also have a parking lot which is helpful. Looking forward to coming back and trying their other items. Started eating before i took a good photo but the food was wonderful! I was greeted by friendly chefs as well as someone at the counter who got my name fast. Food was ready as soon as it said it would be and the take away containers were very nice. The actual restaurant is small and really cool you can watch the chefs making the sushi! Will definitely be back to eat at the counter soon! read more
