Definitely a cute little gem here in FiDi. Got the chashu ramen combined with the salmon and avocado roll. The ramen came with a good amount of pork and same with the salmon roll. However beware of the Add-ons. It's an extra $1 for salmon avocado, miso soup, etc so it adds up VERY quickly. Meal with two add-one came out to $35 (without a drink) so be mindful of what you order! Lunch today was Salmon and Avocado Roll. Ten pieces. After an appointment in the downtown area I wanted something to eat that was on the softer side and not too large a portion. Their roll portions are on the smaller side and their bento boxes end up being pricy once you get through all the +$ add-ons. The presentation is very clean in a nicely packed box, and the window of the shop has displays just like restaurants in Japan, showing what the food will look like when it's served. Ordering is generally pretty easy but don't make the same mistake I did and ask for no receipt, that's the only way you'll know what your order number is when they call it! Food is pretty good, especially for a place that I would consider closer to a take out place. Value is really where this place shines though. Their lunch specials are a pretty good deal and give you a good variety with generous portion sizes. I went with their lunch bento box, and was plenty satisfied. I do wish there was a little more variety to choose from sushi roll wise, but they still have a good selection. I actually love this little spot in FiDi. I come here at least once a week and get takeout. I am a vegetarian and love their black rice vegetable roll and vegetable dumplings. Their edamame is great too. The seating area is rather small; they have seating for 12. I find it easier to pick up and take home. Delicious!!! I've only ever had delivery from Sushi & Co so I'm not sure what the actual location is like but the delivery is always very fast and the food is always a hit! I usually get the chicken and rice bowl which is chicken teriyaki, rice, a few pieces of broccoli and carrots, one shumai, and one vegetable dumpling. Today I got a separate order of vegetable dumplings in addition to the chicken bowl and they were very good. The only difference between the shumai/dumpling that comes with the chicken bowl and the vegetable dumplings on the menu is that the ones in the chicken bowl are fried and the appetizer is steamed. Both steamed and fried are very tasty but I think I prefer the fried so they should offer this as a menu option! Also, with my chicken bowl I always get an extra teriyaki sauce because I find that there's not enough sauce to cover the rice without the extra. The rice has pieces of cabbage underneath which I enjoy a lot and are a nice added crunch. The only thing that stops me from ordering more often is the prices, I do think it's a little high. The chicken bowl is 17$ and the vegetable dumplings are $10 for five pieces which feels overpriced. The fees for food delivery service are also high but I don't think they have any influence over that. Overall, great lunch spot and will definitely continue to order! read more
