Definitely a cute little gem here in FiDi. Got the chashu ramen combined with the salmon and avocado roll. The ramen came with a good amount of pork and same with the salmon roll. However beware of the Add-ons. It's an extra $1 for salmon avocado, miso soup, etc so it adds up VERY quickly. Meal with two add-one came out to $35 (without a drink) so be mindful of what you order! Otherwise, friendly staff and good quality food. read more

We ordered the 4-roll box that included four sushi rolls and a choice of salad. We went with the spicy tuna, eel & avocado, yellowtail, and salmon & avocado rolls, along with the mixed greens. The sushi was decent for the location & offered a decent option to choose from. The rolls were quite filling, and the salad was fresh. I did find the price a bit steep for the portion & quality which was about $31 for everything. I'm not sure if I would come back personally, but if you're looking for a quick sushi option for dining in or takeout, this could be a convenient spot. read more

Not bad for fast food sushi. I ordered the box of four with a seaweed salad. Nice presentation. A bit pricey as most choices require an upgrade. The rainbow roll was my favorite. (Overall: 60% | D) - I ordered four maki rolls as a combo to go and was disappointed at the results. The pricing of this box was equivalent to that of DomoDomo, but the quality cannot even be compared. The food is either on the unflavored side in the case of the california roll and edamame that desperately needs salt or completely drowned like the case of that spicy tuna roll or eel roll. The food here is always solid. My major gripe with them is it's super expensive for what you get. Their roll portions are on the smaller side and their bento boxes end up being pricy once you get through all the +$ add-ons. Lunch today was Salmon and Avocado Roll. Ten pieces. After an appointment in the downtown area I wanted something to eat that was on the softer side and not too large a portion. Ten rolls don't fit into the "tiny" portion but sushi somehow is quite easy to eat without feeling like a stuffed turkey. The price was also reasonable at $10.54. I sat at a table to enjoy the sushi. Two customers were sitting and eating and a few people came to pick up their orders. The interior is compact, clean and had pretty lanterns that makes it feel serene. No restrooms here. I ordered the beef bowl and it took a while for my order to be ready. However when I opened it, I saw why. The presentation was thoughtful carried out. The food was good, pretty filling for a lunch. Came here for lunch with a few friends. Came with the idea that we'd sit down and eat together, but the location definitely is limited in it's real estate, with just a handful of tables and chairs, and even then it's a little bit tight. Ordering is generally pretty easy but don't make the same mistake I did and ask for no receipt, that's the only way you'll know what your order number is when they call it! Food is pretty good, especially for a place that I would consider closer to a take out place. Value is really where this place shines though. Their lunch specials are a pretty good deal and give you a good variety with generous portion sizes. I went with their lunch bento box, and was plenty satisfied. I do wish there was a little more variety to choose from sushi roll wise, but they still have a good selection. Definitely also want to come back when it's cooler and try their hot food options to see how those might stack up as well read more

This is good for quick on the go sushi. It's not fine grade sushi if that's your goal. Clean, kind service, good servicing size, and good pricing are all available here. I would swing by again for quick meal. There enough varieties so it's excellent! One flaw is no sight of a bathroom. read more

I actually love this little spot in FiDi. I come here at least once a week and get takeout. I am a vegetarian and love their black rice vegetable roll and vegetable dumplings. Their edamame is great too. The seating area is rather small; they have seating for 12. I find it easier to pick up and take home. The ordering system is quick and easy, and the food is ready in 5-7 minutes. For fast, good take-out, I would highly recommend! Everything is also very fresh and made to order. read more

Great sushi with unique black rice -- doesn't taste very different, but looks very cool. The presentation is very clean in a nicely packed box, and the window of the shop has displays just like restaurants in Japan, showing what the food will look like when it's served. The spicy tuna there is actually somewhat spicy -- finally! A third-party delivery driver brought the food back to the restaurant after not finding me and an employee there was kind enough to deliver it to me. read more

Delicious!!! I've only ever had delivery from Sushi & Co so I'm not sure what the actual location is like but the delivery is always very fast and the food is always a hit! I usually get the chicken and rice bowl which is chicken teriyaki, rice, a few pieces of broccoli and carrots, one shumai, and one vegetable dumpling. Today I got a separate order of vegetable dumplings in addition to the chicken bowl and they were very good. The only difference between the shumai/dumpling that comes with the chicken bowl and the vegetable dumplings on the menu is that the ones in the chicken bowl are fried and the appetizer is steamed. Both steamed and fried are very tasty but I think I prefer the fried so they should offer this as a menu option! Also, with my chicken bowl I always get an extra teriyaki sauce because I find that there's not enough sauce to cover the rice without the extra. The rice has pieces of cabbage underneath which I enjoy a lot and are a nice added crunch. The only thing that stops me from ordering more often is the prices, I do think it's a little high. The chicken bowl is 17$ and the vegetable dumplings are $10 for five pieces which feels overpriced. The fees for food delivery service are also high but I don't think they have any influence over that. Overall, great lunch spot and will definitely continue to order! read more

The spot is literally one block away from my office so it's very convenient. I also used the Ritual app, which allows you to pick up food and earn points. Their sushi is pretty good and you do get a lot. I got the shrimp tempura roll and it was very filling. I think the price is similar to other Manhattan sushi places. Be aware, it is very small, so I highly recommend just coming here to pick up food because chances are you won't have any place to sit during lunch rush hour. read more

I ordered spicy tuna to go. When I got home, I opened it up and it was COVERED in mayo. I attempted to scrape it off with a knife, then I turned the rolls upside down to try and hide it, and they still looked like this. Not pictured- the giant pile of mayo I scraped off. Financial District is getting back to its pre-pandemic days. It isn't as much of a ghost town as it once was. I like the concept. Its quick service kind of. You order on the ipad and they bring your food. The rice bowl with chicken (supposed to be salmon) was pretty good. The chicken tasted fresh and it came out quick. The dumplings were delicious as well. Unfortunately, you can tell the sashimi wasn't cut by an expert. The pieces were too bulky and hard to eat. They have a wide variety of menu options, ranging from ramen to rice bowls. I always opt for the curry ramen, and it's one of my favorite dishes here. The cutlet is crispy, and the curry broth is rich, flavorful, and delicious. The service is also great. The servers are always attentive, ready to answer questions, and quick to refill waters whenever they notice your glass getting low. Food comes out quickly as well. Overall, Kin Ramen is a spot I find myself coming back to again and again whenever I'm craving a good bowl of ramen.

First of all, I LOVE the ambience and the paper lantern decor here. Took me right back to those neon streets. The staff are polite and patient; one of them even picked up my phone for me after I dropped it mid-meal. During my trip, I was converted to a soba-lover, and while I don't think this is true soba here, they have "abura soba", what they describe as a "soupless ramen" (with a thicker noodle) which I was drawn to. I got the basic one with chashu, and my, it was DELICIOUS! I was so entranced I caught myself wanting to slightly bow with an "Arigatougozaimasu" and a "Gochisousama desu" on the way out! The noodles and the saucy base were DELICIOUS. My friend found it a bit oily, but I love thicker, richer ramen bases so I savored it. We lingered and loafed during our meal and the staff did not rush us once. :) Will definitely be returning!

I thought the rice would be at least been fried? I asked for some soy sauce and spice just to add a bit more flavor to it. However, our service was great and I cannot say enough kind words to the staff. The rest of our company enjoyed their food. My partner ordered a ramen which he enjoyed and wished there was more ramen options available for being a ramen (advertised) restaurant. Overall it was a good experience to try!
