We love Pine Bistro! So much so that we are doing a sushi review inside of it. Why? Because they have been secretly doing an online sushi menu (to go only) for a while. They are now offering sushi mixed in with their Mediterranean menu (bar only, not in regular seating) and we were the first to order in house! We ordered just 1 roll, not sure what to expect. We ordered the Double Double, no not -In-N-Out, but a roll with shrimp tempura, cucumber, crab meat, topped with avocado and eel sauce. It was a bomb roll - reinvent or perish they say! The roll cost $11.95 and pretty damn good. The sushi roll is only available online, and bar only. Fantastic we're thrilled!

Best Sushi In vegas! Staff Very Friendly. Easy Pick up for my food. Beautiful Interior

    Screaming O Sashimi

This was my first time ordering from Azayaka Sushi. I order online. The food looked fresh. I ordered the sashimi: screaming O, specialty: golden knight and shrimp wrap. Top favorite was screaming o! Screaming o spice level delivered. The sear was prefect and the portion was satisfying. My next favorite was the golden knight. Once again, the spice level delivered. I enjoy spice and I was not disappointed. My least favorite was the shrimp wrap. There was nothing wrong just didn't compliment my other two items well. Would have rather done another order of screaming o or golden knight. I will be ordering again in the future guaranteed. Stay fresh Azayaka yall delivered on aspects.

    Philadelphia Roll Tiger Roll

Ordered sushi for takeout and it was fresh, well-packed, and delicious. The fish was high quality, and everything stayed intact during transport. Great presentation even in the to-go box. Will definitely order again!

You don't need to go to the Strip for Ari yeah!…read more Ari Sushi & Izakaya is a very well-Yelped restaurant in the southwest. I've particularly seen buddies post about it on Instagram a lot, and I finally made my way out there since I found that it aligned with my mom's food craving. I went for the Ari Ari Combo ($29.00). It started with a little bowl of balanced miso soup and a tiny side salad with fresh greens and a simple sesame dressing, and was followed by six thin but delicious sashimi slices and four basic but also solid-quality nigiri. I would be more than happy to come back try to more of their raw fish any time. If that doesn't sound like enough for lunch, I did share other food items. The Garlic Edamame ($7.00) felt a little less salted than I expected but was a good portion and had plenty of both a garlic sauce and crispy garlic slivers. I also helped out with a Bento with 3 items ($25.00): bulgogi, mixed tempura, and spicy tuna roll. The bulgogi was tender but not strongly marinated enough and the spicy tuna roll felt pretty standard, but I did really enjoy the shrimp tempura and the veggie tempura pieces which I tried. They were super hot and crispy while being cooked perfectly inside, and the sauce was perfect. The music was relaxing and not played at a very high volume. The restaurant is a little more dim than I'd like and could benefit from overhead narrow-angle lights, but maybe the food was just that good that the lighting wasn't so important. The server was happy to refill my complimentary water with lemon as often as needed, as well as to add more water to the Hot Green Tea ($4.00). I did try some of the tea, and it was potent and low in bitterness. I'm pleased to report that Ari Sushi really does offer delicious sushi, enough so that I'll probably have to make more trips from Henderson to try more of their menu. If you want high quality mid-price-range sushi that's not in an all you can eat format, this is a great place to look.

There were a lot of things on the happy hour menu, so that was nice. I ordered 2 rolls off the happy hour menu; Dragon Roll (5/10) & Shrimp Tempura (5/10). I added cream cheese to the roll. Adding cream cheese was an additional $3. Overall experience was okay, the service was great! The quality was okay, I wouldn't mind trying the place out again but ordering other things off the menu.

Restaurant (including restroom) has always been clean. The music is usually good. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Food always comes out fast. There's a wide range of options. This is our go-to for AYCE sushi. We actually hadn't been back in over 6 months, but we noticed they changed the age for kids eat free to 5 and under! It used to be 3. Now we have another year of our kiddo getting to eat all of the gyozas her little heart desires LOL. I highly recommend trying this spot.

Normally I'll wait…read morebecause I really like that other spot, but I was starving and honestly being seated right away here was a huge plus. Service was friendly overall, and the staff was nice, but because it got busy the service also felt pretty slow. We were a group of three and didn't want to over order, so we were putting in smaller rounds of food at a time instead of loading the table all at once. The downside was that servers didn't come around often enough for us to really order as much as we normally would at AYCE sushi. As for the food... it was just okay. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really stood out either. The quality honestly didn't match the price point for me. At $34.95, I expect a little more, especially when there are other sushi spots charging around the same amount with noticeably fresher and better quality food. The rolls I ordered did come out fresh, so no complaints there, and the egg rolls were actually pretty good. I randomly ordered french fries for fun and they came out hot and fresh, which was nice, but they had almost no flavor. No salt Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience and the staff was friendly, but the food just didn't leave much of an impression on me. Personally, I don't think it's somewhere I'd come back to.

First off, the nigiri deserves a shoutout--the fish-to-rice ratio was on point. Each piece had a generous cut of fresh fish without overwhelming the rice, which made every bite feel balanced and satisfying. You can tell they pay attention to the details. We also tried a few hot dishes, and they didn't disappoint. The karaage came out crispy on the outside and juicy inside, perfectly seasoned without being too heavy. The salmon steak was another standout--flavorful, tender, and cooked just right. Same goes for the beef short rib, which was rich, well-marinated, and fell apart with every bite. Service was just as solid as the food. Our server was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing smoothly without hovering--always a plus. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the value. Their weekday lunch special (until 4pm) is a great deal for the quality you're getting, and if you're out late, the $19 late-night special after 10pm is hard to beat. Overall, Mr. Shota is a spot I'd definitely come back to--whether it's for a casual lunch, a solid dinner, or a late-night bite. Great food, great service, and even better pricing.

We went during weekday lunch and there were around 4 other tables with diners. We got the premium AYCE since we wanted to try the special items. Service was attentive and proactive. Our orders came within minutes of placing the order. The salmon, tuna and other fish were fresh though the uni was a bit slimier (probably since it's still out of season). Having ordered most of the special dishes, I can say that their AYCE provides very good value for the ingredients and dishes included. Their selection and variety of dishes is also hard to beat. However, the sushi rice was really poor quality - undercooked which made it tougher to chew, was long grain (not Japanese short-grained rice used for sushi) and did not have the stickiness nor sourness of proper vinegared rice. The Japanese word "sushi" translates literally to sour rice referring to the vinegared rice which is the foundation of the nigiri sushi. Because of how critical the rice is to sushi and rolls, I can only give Daisho 3 stars at most until they learn how to cook sushi rice. We provided the feedback to the restaurant staff so we truly hope they take the feedback seriously and improve it. It's not that hard to cook Japanese sushi rice. Worst case, the restaurant should invest in a Zojirushi rice cooker that will cook it perfectly every time.

I can't believe I've been living in Las Vegas for ten years. I've experienced the city before,…read moreduring, and after Covid, and I've watched the restaurant scene go through real strain. Many places have struggled to stay afloat, to hire and retain skilled chefs, and most importantly, to maintain consistency and quality. I don't claim to be an expert, but I care about food, and I pay attention. Sushi, in particular, has been difficult to get right in the AYCE format. Over the years, I've seen many decent AYCE sushi spots slowly decline, cutting corners on fish quality, lowering standards in preparation, and relying on excessive sauces or presentation tricks to compensate. Too often, you end up with thin, poorly cut fish, poorly formed rice, and a lack of true craftsmanship. Oyshi stands out as one of the rare exceptions. It has managed to maintain its standards in a category where consistency is notoriously difficult. The fish is properly cut, the rice is well prepared, and the focus remains on fundamentals rather than distractions. No unnecessary embellishments, no gimmicks, just solid technique and respect for the ingredients. This is what AYCE sushi should be, simple, precise, and executed with care. In my opinion, Oyshi offers the best traditional AYCE sushi experience in Las Vegas, especially for those who value nigiri done right.
