One of my fav sushi spots in Vegas! I go here at least once a month or so. They don't have all-you-can-eat, but they offer a great buy 2 rolls, get 1 free deal. Service is always excellent, the space is inviting and cozy, and they play smooth jazz. Not flashy, and that's how I like it.

Walked in and was greeted and seated right away. Great for lunch as they have the bento box and it comes with salad, miso soup, tempura and your choice of meat and California rolls (4pcs) Service was super great, food was good and it's a small Asian restaurant.

Sawa Sushi is definitely one of my husband's go-to locations. We enjoy their buy two get one free deal on sushi rolls. My husband and I have our go-to choices on the menu and it's so great that the server there remembers our orders. The workers there make you feel welcome and their service is great. The sushi chefs are so nice and their presentation of food is nice. Overall, our experiences with Sawa Sushi have always been great. Love coming here. They never disappoint

This was my first time at Sawa Sushi (and also my first sushi experience in Las Vegas that wasn't AYCE) and I was pleasantly surprised! I went on a weekday evening, and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated quickly and our food came out fast. They have a great buy 2, get 1 free deal on rolls, so we tried the Rockin' Roll, Monkey Brain Roll, and Japanese Lasagna Roll. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Unlike many AYCE spots, each roll felt distinct and thoughtfully made, both in flavor and presentation. The portion size was perfect for two hungry people, though I think we could've easily added an appetizer or another roll and still finished everything. The overall atmosphere was calm and clean, making for an enjoyable and relaxed dinner. I'm really glad to have found a solid sushi spot nearby that serves high-quality rolls without the AYCE rush. Definitely planning to come back when the sushi cravings hit!

Always amazing food and service. Definitely feels like a family owned business. I've been coming here since I moved to Vegas in 2017 and it has always been consistent with good service and food quality. Very cute interior and intimate.

Date night is on a Friday at my place and on a Saturday at my boyfriend's place. Our recent date night fell on a Saturday and we chose to go to Sawa Sushi, located on Blue Diamond in the building right next to In-N-Out. We love sushi and we haven't had it in a while. We walked in and it was very busy! One of the waitresses there greeted us and guided us to a table in the back next to the sushi bar. With so many sushi joints here in town, it's always hard to pick just one favorite. This joint had lots of sushi options to choose from, and we chose to go with three different sushi types. We started off with fried calamari with dipping sauce as our appetizer. The calamari was crispy and had a great taste to it, but I did not get the chance to try the dipping sauce. For sushi, we chose the Philadelphia Roll (one of my all time favorites), the Rainbow Roll, and the Crunchy Dragon Roll. The Philadelphia Roll and Rainbow Roll were spot on and had lots of flavor to them. My boyfriend said that the Crunchy Dragon Roll, which he ordered for himself, was excellent. I shared the Rainbow Roll with him and I thought it was really good too. I really liked this sushi place! I would like to come back again in the future.

My friend took me here, & then I took my husband here for lunch. Oh my gosh! Be warned, the Bento Box Lunch is super big! So much food I had two meals out of it! I had the Teriyaki Salmon, it came with CA rolls, tempura, miso soup, salad, rice, & 2 HUGE salmon filets! I also ordered a side of sushi with it, which I probably didn't need. I could taste the freshness and quality of the food here. The sushi chefs are excellent at preparing good looking dishes! We ate at the sushi bar. The service was quick. We will definitely be coming back again!

Came across this spot and boy are we so happy we did! This is our new date night spot! The service was great and I personally love when the chefs make conversations with you while making your delicious rolls! Sapporo in a frosted mug! Yummy sushi ! What's better ??? Coming. Back.

You know they're good when their To-Go order are stacked up

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto. However, in the consequent rounds after, the waiter took more and more time to come and take our order. The nigiri here is really good and like the other Yelp reviews here say, the fish to rice ration is perfect. Lots of fish to little rice. Get this when you come, you're going to get the biggest bang for your buck. We had some rolls that were pretty good and some rolls that were not good at all, and you have to finish them otherwise they charge you. The rolls had the worst rice to fish ratio and just didn't taste good. Lots of "filler" in there, don't get the rolls when you come. We got the A menu, but honestly we could have done without the specialty items. They were good, but ordering a bunch of nigiri is enough. Overall, I would come here again, but just don't get the rolls, they're not worth your stomach space and they're not good. Would have given this place a higher rating if not for the bad rolls we had. Good price for AYCE sushi and quality is good!
