What a wonderful hidden gem. Simpli Sushi is a small family ran sushi shop that serves beautifully arranged platters, boats, and rolls. The owner server lady is super sweet, provides great customer service. New favorite spot? Possibly....

Congratulations on your store front! I've been following you guys on IG for a while now! Glad you guys finally have a restaurant open! I wish I had more memory to have taken photos inside because the inside is just so cute! Love the decor! I got the California roll for my husband and I for the no raw bento! How perfect was this bento! I got a variety in this bento and everything tasted amazing! I like the seared nigiri. Everything was freshly made! My husband liked his California roll as well! Service was quick when ordering out. I have to definitely come in to dine. One thing I would just critique is location...although there isn't many sushi places in this area. This plaza isn't getting a lot of traffic in this corner. I've seen restaurants come and go here. Just not the best location. Just saying. Looking forward to dining!
I'm so excited that they are close to me. I can see myself popping in to grab lunch or dinner if I don't feel like cooking. (Which can happen often ) Fresh, simple and delicious. Everything is presented beautifully. Service is friendly and fantastic. I love the casual environment which is bright and inviting. Note, they do not offer beer or sake. So if you want sushi and sake.... I recommend getting takeout and grabbing sake at the store and enjoying everything at home.
I ordered takeout and I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I ordered the chirashi bowl and I enjoyed everything in this bowl. 3 pieces of salmon, tuna, 2 pieces of yellowtail, 1 pc of toro and shrimp, and 1 oz of salmon roe. Now I didn't get fresh seaweed like what the description said but I'm not bothered by that because there is half a Japanese plum in there. There was also good wasabi with it. It's tucked away in the corner of valley verde and horizon ridge parkway. The inside is quite cozy. Service was friendly. You want simple high quality sushi? This place hits the spot.
I had seen this place mentioned in some Vegas food groups and I had booked marked it. Well my mom had a hair apt and forgot something and I rushed over to get it to her in time after a series of special events that left me starving...with a baby that had no clean pants. I realized this restaurant was in a same shopping center and sheepishly came in with my wild pantlass child. The owner was manning the counter and was a father of 3 and was so understanding and kind. They had been purely mobile prior and still focus on their large mobile sushi boats for events, but have a small menu of nigiri, sashimi, rolls and rice bowls. They also have a good amount of drink options that are beyond the basic soft drink options. I ordered the chirashi bowl, seared salmon nigiri, and yuzu soda. The chirashi bowl was smaller than some in the area at the price point but the quality of the fish was much higher. It was so buttery and fresh, and the rive was perfectly cooked and seasoned. They also had this little green thing on top that looked like an olive but tasted sweet and kind of like tea. It was really interesting. They served homemade ponzu, good quality wasabi and ginger, and soy sauce on the side to go with it. With the seared salmon nigiri he put the sauce on the side it normally has as he was worried my son might not want the sauce since it was for him. He even threw and extra piece in in case he was hungry...He didn't end up eating it because he was being picky and distracted, so I did lol I normally like a bit of char on my seared salmon, but overall it was good. I think this is a great family run shop that should continue to be supported in their new space. Local businesses that serve good quality ingredients and compassionate service are precious and help create a sense of community.
My first experience with Simple Sushi was actually a year or so ago, when they were a pop-up. My daughter brought home a little box of sushi that excellent. With that being said, I was happy to hear that they actually opened a brick and mortar location here in Henderson. It is located in the shopping center/office park on the corner of W. Horizon Ridge Parkway and Valle Verde. It's a convenient location with a lot of parking! Inside, it is very simple, pun intended. Super clean on the inside, it is a well kept eatery! There are a handful of tables and you order at the counter. The person at the counter was friendly and helpful and made my daughter and I feel at home! They offer nigiri and sashimi a la carte, various rolls, as well as donburi. They also offer various Set-o (set meals) meals. For lunch, the daughter ordered yellowtail nigiri and a shrimp tempura roll. I decided to order the Popular Set-o which included 2-pieces of salmon, 1-piece of yellowtail and 2-pieces of tuna nigiri, as well as 4-piece California roll and 4-piece spicy tuna roll. Total was under $40.00. For a sushi lunch for two, $40.00 is a tremendous value in my opinion. After about 10-minutes our order was brought out to our table and everything was great. The fish was fresh, plenty of ginger and wasabi on the side. Compared to "high-end" sushi restaurants, Simpli's offerings were comparable in terms of flavor and fish quality. If you're in the mood for some simple Japanese sushi and other delicacies, please support this locally owned restaurant. You will be happy that you did!
Simpli Sushi is hands down the best sushi in Las Vegas. After moving here from Hawaii, I honestly accepted that I would never find truly fresh, high-quality, authentic sushi again. That changed the moment I tried Simpli Sushi. I actually discovered them before they even opened their restaurant. They catered my birthday, and from that first bite, I knew their sushi was something special. The quality, the freshness, and the craftsmanship were on another level. When I found out they were opening a restaurant, I was genuinely so excited, and they did not disappoint. The fish is incredibly fresh and the sushi is beautifully made. This is, without a doubt, some of the best sushi I've had in my entire life. The space itself is clean, cute, and cozy. It has a warm, welcoming feel that makes you feel at home. What makes it even better is the people behind it. It's a husband-and-wife-owned business, and you can truly feel the passion, care, and love they put into everything they do. They are some of the kindest, most genuine people you will ever meet, and their service reflects that. I wish I lived closer because I would honestly go every day, but no matter where you are in Vegas, it is completely worth the drive. They deserve all the recognition and support this world has. See you guys again soon!
If you've heard of their story how it all began, you'd know that they have put in the hard work, when the world was told to stay indoors and social distance, this husband and wife decided to bring a sense of comfort and cravings one sushi at a time with a door to door sushi catering delivery service and 6 years later they have their brick and mortar. Their love for the community has always been there which is why they are loved and supported by many. The space is very welcoming, cute and bright with a lot of natural lighting. The menu offers different types of sushi set-o (bento), donburi, nigiri, sushi rolls, sashimi. They also offer catering services for sushi cakes and sushi boats and those are pre order only. The presentation of the food comes out artfully plated. Everything fresh and delicious! If they have delivered sushi to you during a time of the unknown, go and show your support and appreciation for them at their newly opened restaurant.
love this place! my bfs family always orders from here and the owners are the sweetest ever :))) when i tried their sushi for the first time i was so impressed. unbiased i believe the fish quality was so good! space is so cute, i love their little self serve station for soy sauce and chili powder and dont skip out on the house ponzu its fire!! and i dont even like sauce. me and my bf were excited to come to their brick and mortar and we got sooo full. excited for more! food breakdown!! blue crab handroll - so good especially with ponzu, not overly fishy smelling hamachi handroll - loved this and had kots of fish! i feel like a sauce could amp it up fs :) toro handroll - bomb and i usually dont like toro! salmon pop rocks - sounded so odd but was actually really good and interesting! i usually dislike sashimi but this was worth tuna truffle - bomb and i dont usually like truffle (it was an exploring day for me sorry) surprise me set - got some mixed cuts sauced together which were great. the toro cuts were big and melted in our mouths. the eel nigiri was super surprising. usually eel feels dry and flaky and fishy but this was the complete opposite! the sea bream was also not as gelatinous, which i usually dislike and usually replaced at sugarfish.

Excellent sushi, excellent service, excellent location!! Fresh, flavorful, and the presentation is top notch--like you almost don't want to eat it because it's so beautiful. I also really liked that their menu isn't overwhelming like other sushi spots. No endless scrolling, no moments of staring at the menu wondering what to get! Just a straightforward selection of platters and bento-style meals that make ordering easy. Service was super friendly, and everything came out quickly without feeling rushed. The vibe of the place is just easy and has that classic, cool mom-and-pop shop feel overall. The picture says it all, but you really have to try it for yourself. Just be warned--you might end up ordering AND eating more than you planned because it's that good.
First time trying this place via delivery from their website after seeing so many posts about them on social media. I was very excited since I love sushi and to think that they serve sushi boat and platters! It will be great for date nights or parties. Was going to leave 4 stars but did not like how they process order. The store marked the order on the way yet when I called to ask about tracking because I scheduled it for a later time and I was told it was not ready yet, & that they just mark it on the way. Kinda made me panic when they marked it on the way when I scheduled a specific time cause I was not home yet When I asked the employee if it will come between that time window, all he stated is he is not sure, depends on the driver. I also did not received any tracking information or any information at all regarding my order except that it will be delivered by Nash (no idea who or what Nash is) so even though I scheduled a time delivery I had no idea when my order was coming. I only found out that my order was coming because I was outside when the driver came and only then I received a text with a photo saying that my order has been delivered. Soooo not being able to track your order is kind of a bit uncomfortable. Food - sushi wise I can say that the fish and nigiris are absolutely delicious and fresh but the rice on the rolls were dry and hard especially on the california rolls. We ate all the nigiris but had left over rolls. I had high expectations since it is a bit pricey but a bit disappointed with the rolls. I'm not sure if I will try them again, maybe but we shall see.

I absolutely love Simply Sushi! Every order is made fresh to order--it's not premade, and you can really taste the difference. It's not a fast-food place, but the sushi and sashimi are definitely restaurant quality. I've been following them for years and have always enjoyed their food. I would honestly drive across town just to get their sushi! They have a great variety of fresh fish, and I especially love their catering service. Whether you're looking for quality sushi for yourself or catering for a gathering, Simply Sushi is definitely a place I recommend. Simply solid. Simpli Sushi is a fairly new Henderson spot launched by a couple previously more known for catering and events. Located in the former shabu spot on Valley View and Horizon Ridge, they've seemingly built a decent following already, given the Saturday night dinner traffic that showed up shortly after we did. This is a counter-order service place, although they do require pre-ordering if you want the drama of the sushi boat or the novelty of a sushi cake. I liked how soy sauce and ponzu dispensers along with various utensils are available on a shelf to the side, and cold water is on a table on the other side. My friend and I were in the mood for some sushi, and we noticed that the Nigiri Platter looked like a great deal. $100 for 40 pieces is basically $5 an order, and most of the items are listed at over $5. It did take a while for the sushi chef to prep all of those pieces in the back but we were rewarded with a pretty platter of 5 pieces each of eight fish. I wouldn't say I was a big fan of all the cuts. The yellowtail was blander than I expected. The salmon and tuna were just alright. The unagi was solid, as was the aji (horse mackerel) which they subbed in since they were out of scallop.. The albacore and sea bream were really nice, given that I usually get albacore coated with cajun spices at sushi spots with more of an unlimited model, and sea bream rarely if at all. Seared salmon was actually my favorite, with a great tenderness from having half of it lightly cooked. By the way, how is 5 pieces the number of choice a platter that's large enough to split between people? Going with 10 different fish at 4 pieces each would make it sharable for two. As it was, my friend and I had to "draft" our favorite pieces at the end to divide the pieces evenly. Simpli Sushi is a good neighborhood sushi spot and provides affordability with solid quality. Maybe I'll go more splurge-y next time with some of the more premium fish options and Modern Sashimi and see how those fare. read more

Take out and I chose the salmon bowl with ikura. The lady in front is so sweet. When I got there, she got my name, walk out to hand me my order vs just across the front desk. Thats how you know they value customer interaction. The bowl was so delicious and fresh. The place is quaint I would come back to dine-in. read more

Simpli sushi is literally my favorite sushi in town! I first discovered them from catering and fell in love! I usually don't like uni but their uni is the best! I craved them all the time and of course simpli sushi was my first meal after I gave birth! I'm so happy that now I can get their sushi all week if I want (except Sunday- family day!) Chef Vong and his family are the nicest and kindest people! They treat everyone like family! I love supporting a good family business and it's such a plus that their food is so delicious. The sushi and sashimi is always fresh! Sometimes I get tummy issues with AYCE or other sushi places but I never with simpli sushi! Their little restaurant has a cute casual ambiance. Food is ordered at the counter then brought to you at your table. Water, utensils and condiments are self serve. If you haven't already Come and try this place! we came across simpli sushi via tiktok and decided to give it a try since it's they opened in Henderson. The owner was working that day and she is soooo nice, it was great to get to know her and how simpli sushi all began. honestly the restaurant ambiance is just so warm and inviting. For the food itself, it tastes so fresh and unique! I'd recommend trying their truffle tuna carpaccio (my favorite). Their salmon carpaccio is my husband's favorite, we call it fun to eat but you just have to try it and see why lol. read more

My family and I got to try the new Simpli Sushi restaurant that they just opened up on 1716 w horizon ridge pkwy ste 110. It's a family business and from the beginning they worked so hard for. We ordered a few times when it was just online orders and catering and sushi was delicious so I had no doubt it would be the same. We had such an amazing experience at Simpli Sushi! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming The food was absolutely outstanding. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell a lot of care goes into both the quality and presentation. The sashimi was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth, and the creative touches--like the light sauces and garnishes--really elevated each dish without overpowering the natural flavors of the fish. I especially loved how beautifully everything was plated. It felt like every dish was thoughtfully designed, not just made. Even the simpler items stood out because of how fresh and well-prepared they were. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, Simpli Sushi is a must try. If you're looking for high-quality sushi in a cozy, stylish setting, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be coming back! read more

The service and sushi were amazing! This place is tucked away in an office center and I would have never known a restaurant was here. Princess was very friendly and informative. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. The restaurant is extremely clean and the decorations were so cute. I wish this was closer to my house, but I'll be sure to come back whenever I'm in the area! read more

SIMPLI WOW 10/10! The sushi is outstanding, it's family owned and operated, and the atmosphere is bright and inviting! I especially loved the salmon, tuna, seaweed salad combo on the Surprise Me Seto and the quality of fish! Just WOW! We took the Popular Seto box to go for my husband and he loved the presentation and thought the flavors were fresh and delicious. We can't wait to return. read more

I have been ordering from SimpliSushi since they were at the ghost kitchen on Pecos picking up platters and "pizza boxes" to-go :) Something about me is I'm all about supporting local small businesses. Another thing is I LOVE SUSHI - so when I found out SimpliSushi was opening their first store front and it's not far from me - the fam and I are goinggggg. Neighborhood family friendly environment, amazing quality fish, and the cutest set-o's EVER. Vong and Princess are the sweetest owners who make you feel right at home, serving amazing customer service but serving even better dishes! The food was extremely good! Everything tasted so fresh. The owners were very attentive and made sure to answer all of our questions. Restaurant was clean and had good lighting. I would highly recommend going. It was worth the money getting the platter we got to try so many items. If you go I recommend getting the popular platter. They also do catering and sushi boat platters! Planning to get one for my birthday. read more

While on our road trip we stopped here on a whim and let's just say we were not disappointed! What great customer service! Princess (one of the owners) was so helpful with all the questions I had for my picky eaters. The vibe of the restaurant was amazing from the music to the simple decor and clean organized space. I love the painting on the wall which is a great "Ohana" feel. (Ask what it means). Next time we are in town or driving through we will be back! As for the food, YUM! Everything was so delicious! read more

This sushi was so fresh and made very well. I get picky with the consistency of my sushi rice. I really liked this sushi rice - not mushy and the flavor paired very well with the fish. The service was amazing. I think I met one of the nicest, welcoming, hardworking couple at Simpli Sushi. The restaurant was welcoming and we sat down while waiting for our take out order. It was clean and just had great decor. You can tell they really love what they do. Check them out. read more

I visited this cute new sushi restaurant that just opened in Henderson. Princess invited me into her new restaurant and shared that her and her husband just opened the restaurant last week. She was so kind and inviting during my visit. We ordered three sushi rolls: spicy tuna, California roll, and beet yuzu. We also ordered this bento style sushi box called a "Sushi Set-O." We selected the Popular Set-O which contained ahi, salmon, and yellowtail sashimi, poke, California roll, spicy tuna roll, edamame, and ginger. All the sushi and poke that we tried was so delicious, fresh, and the sushi rice was perfectly seasoned. We will back to enjoy Simpli Sushi for our weekly sushi fix! read more
