We stopped in at Kame Sushi for dinner. The restaraunt opened in May of 2026. They offer sushi, sashimi, and Korean-Japanese cuisine in a modern setting. There is regular table and booth seating, seating at the sushi station, and a large bar area.The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with the large menu. We had sushi and it was fresh, tasty, and the rolls were large. We had an excellent experience here. We will be back. They are located on Panther Creek and the DNT by RaceTrac.

Real wasabi, holy crap! This is probably only the third or fourth place in the entirety of DFW that I'm aware of that has real wasabi. We went during the soft opening, but everything was fantastic! I'm excited to have a new sushi option closer to our house. My wife and I both did the sushi bento box for lunch, and the price was super reasonable, and tons of food. We also tried the Kame Roll (huge) and it was fantastic.

New place, so we had to try it out - and are glad we did! We only picked up carryout, but the inside was great - open, fresh, and not cramped at all. Music was calm and the hostess very friendly. There was a classic sushi bar by the chefs in the back, and they were clearly interacting with a couple customers - which I love. We grabbed the tuna tower, spicy yellowtail roll, and cali roll. All were very good. The tower had tons of tuna and a (almost barbecue-like) tang. The spicy roll was legit spicy marinated yellowtail, not a plain roll with spicy sauce drizzled on top. My wife said the cali roll was one of the best she'd ever had. Def coming back! read more

The kiddo loved her chicken teriyaki and pretty much ate the whole bowl ( made me a happy momma). I personally wasn't a fan of having green beans in the kimchi fried rice & there seemed to be a lack of kimchi in there but egg was cooked perfectly & still had good flavor. This place is amazing for a local Korean/Japanese restaurant. The food was exceptional. The service was beautiful. We met the family the owners and they were all just wonderful. I have a lot of experience with Korean restaurants so I tested out their Bulgogi, which was exceptional. If you want kimchi, you have to ask for it and it's really good. The Hamachi and jalapeño appetizer was over the top. And their riceless our sashimi roll was awesome. We will be back and we will bring friends because this was a great experience to bottom. Drove past Kame Sushi while we were looking for a Japanese spot to eat at. We are sooo glad we stopped in! They are in their soft opening phase so we were a little reluctant to try it, however we were so glad we did. I had the lunch sashimi bento box and my boyfriend had their tonkotsu ramen. The sashimi was so silky and buttery. Probably the best sashimi I've ever tried. His ramen was also silky and smokey. The pork belly just melts in your mouth. This restaurant is close to our home and we really want to like it. But the eel bento box I ordered has very little, 4 pieces of eel only. Very small portion. The eel hand roll also not like other photos posted. It's very small and there is nothing else inside except rice and eel. Not even any veggie and avocado. With this price point, this is not acceptable. The rest of the food is ok but overall disappointing. Not sure if they will survive if they already cutting corner when it's first opened read more

My husband and I just checked out Kame and we are so impressed! With so many cookie cutter restaurants opening up on 380, we have been looking for great options for food in the area. We have tried a few sushi restaurants in the area and the food here was the best. Our server, Liana, was excellent, attentive and kind. The atmosphere was so clean and inviting. I tried but not my thing due to said sauce. The main was a chicken and steak bowl with noodles and veggies. They give you huge portions with a lot of protein which make the price justifiable. I wish there were more veggies and the 2 cups of sauce you get are not enough for that size so ask for extra. Finally for my fellow Coke-a-holics, this is an enemy operation (Pepsi). That all changed and was very noticeable during fathers day and especially this weekend during July 4th! The past few weeks when calling in to check for food availability or how busy it was, Ive noticed the same person answering every single one of my calls that I had to double take and make sure I called the right place! When I mentioned my concern about the massive line wrapped around the building during fathers day, mothers day and this weekend, the same lady named Kayla answered the phone. I was about to leave and she assured me that it would move fast and not to worry and that they had samples to ease some hunger while waiting. Sure enough, she was exactly right! To top it all off, after we got our food and sat down, she actually went above and beyond to come over to our table and check on us just because I had called to thank her for helping me from not leaving to the amazing customer service she provided. I let her know that is very rare now days and not to ever change that! I found out after meeting her that shes about to head out on maternity leave soon and honestly, I'm going to be a little sad when she leaves! She is a massive asset to the Hutchins team and can change the mood just by her smile and friendliness. Not only that, she gave a lot of good recommendations for trying some new foods at Hutchins and every time has been a good call! Give this girl a raise!! I wish Kayla the absolute best and I'll definitely be looking out for her when she gets back! Our server, I believe her name is Cynthia, was also fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed at the table. Nothing more than a little squeeze of lemon over it and you could have brought me a dozen more. But we had to save room for our mains. Our table also shared the Trio of Dips (tirokafteri, hummus, and skordalia), the moussaka, the Brazilian steak, and the Aegean stuffed pepper. The tirokafteri and hummus were both delicious. The skordalia wasn't for me, but that's simply because it's essentially a chilled potato dip, not a reflection of the restaurant. The Brazilian steak was fantastic, great flavor and cooked perfectly. The stuffed pepper and moussaka also got a thumbs-up from our group. I believe our server's name was Uli, and he was good. He took the time to explain several dishes. Greek food probably isn't at the top of my personal favorites list, but this one was ok.
